A big thank you to Giovanni for his helpful kindness! He did everything he could to make my stay easy. His recommendation about restaurants and activities were great! The room was spacious, comfortable and clean, located in a quiet street, just 10 minutes walk away from the Island of Ortigia!

My husband and I stayed 3 nights in Siracusa at this wonderful B&B in early July and had an awesome stay! The accommodations on Ortigia island were either out of our budget or if within our budget, we didn’t feel the room/amenities were worth the price point —Giovanni’s place rivaled a lot of the rooms I had seen during my research and our stay ended up exceeding our expectations. We had the sunset room and it had a modern design, was spacious, had a comfortable bed, good sized bathroom, a long terrace that is shared with other rooms but you have your own section with view, and a wonderfully working AC for the hot summer. Even when coming back to the room at the end of a long day of exploring, the room still felt nice and cool even though the AC was off! Noise was never an issue even though you are located near a busy street. With the windows closed it’s sound proof! We had a very restful sleep each night. Location of this B&B is great - you are close to explore the ruins but also only about 12-15 mins from Ortigia by foot. You really get to experience the local culture from both sides, especially weekend nights when the city comes alive. From check-in to check-out Giovanni was the most wonderful host, giving a thorough orientation to the B&B, geography, nearby attractions etc. We really appreciated the custom touches and his restaurant recommendations which were all excellent. Breakfast was basic but wonderful in the communal space where we also had the opportunity to meet and mingle with other guests. We were more than satisfied with our choice to stay at Giovanni’s - he makes you feel like you are old friends! I would definitely recommend this place to any friends or family that want to stay in this area!

What a great location. We were central to so much. Both Ortygia and Siracusa. The B&B is in a condominium building in a very walkable neighborhood. We arrived on a Sunday afternoon so street parking wasn’t easy to find but we got a spot across the street and were able to leave it there for the duration of our stay. Giovanni was welcoming, easy to communicate with and gave great suggestions to make our stay in Siracusa better.

We enjoyed staying in Photoguest for many reasons. The location is excellent: a few minutes walk to the train and bus station, 10-15 minutes walk to the old city, 10-15 minutes walk to the ruins. The room is comfortable and clean, the breakfast is basic but delicious. And of course, there is the host, who goes to great lengths to welcome you, make you comfortable, and acquaint you with Siracusa. Giovanni’s recommendations were priceless, and thanks to him we felt like in a visit to a friend rather than in a hotel. Definitely recommend, and would love to come back.

We originally booked a bnb in Ortigia, but due to my husband's Achilles' injury, we became increasingly concerned about the distance, with luggage, from the parking lot to the bnb.  We decided on PhotoGuest and were very happy we did!  Giovanni, the owner—met us at the entrance of the building.  He assisted with our luggage, which was much needed as there are several steps to the elevator--  and even helped us find free parking nearby.   The room was clean, had a refrigerator and a large bathroom with a shower. Each morning we met Giovanni and sat with other guests for a light Italian breakfast and fantastic espresso for my husband and cappuccino for me. Giovanni is a kind host and provided us with a recommendation for dinner close by which we enjoyed. During our stay we walked to a great Gelateria: the owner was wonderful and the Trapani gelato.... terrific! PhotoGuest is very conveniently located to the lovely island of Ortigia and to the Siracusa sites.   A very pleasant stay and would recommend.

Very convenient location, central with easy access to the old city, Ortigia and the Archeological park. We were able to use the free parking on the street too. Our host, Giovanni was most gracious and helpful. He allowed is to check in early when we asked to leave our bags. Giovanni also provided us with great a information package, showing all we needed to explore the city and find good food. Wi-Fi access was easy and worked really well. Our room was fantastic, modern, super clean and air conditioned (it was July). Decorated with great photographs as the name suggests. We included breakfast in our booking and this was fresh and delicious with home made Croissants. There is a good supermarket just around the corner ~180 meters and many cafes and eateries close by. We can really recommend this accommodation and would definitely stay again if we have the chance.
