Hotel Syracuse dengan Spa

The room is decent for a city hotel, catering more towards business travellers. The hotel is conveniently located, a 30-minute walk to Ortigia's island city but less than 5 minutes from the Archaeological Park of Neapolis. Getting to Ortigia is easy via a quick ride on the red bus costing just €1.50, payable to the driver. The reception is notably friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good, offering a brilliant variety of food and drinks. Additionally, there is a large supermarket around the corner of the hotel. Parking is free.

Formerly a post office, this grand hotel has no resemblance to its roots. It is big! and fancy! that well staffed. We picked the least expensive room in the most expensive hotel, mostly to be sure there was an elevator. Our room, totally white, was comfortable and the white marble bathroom was beautiful. Breakfast is very good with a professional staff always ready to help. Eggs, lox, croissants, fruit. You want it? it's there. Cotton sheets, thick towels, good pillows. A thermostat. It lost a star because I found it a little too formal.

The room was comfortable, good beds and pillows, nice walk out balcony, the bathroom set up was a bit awkward, none the less we were happy with our room. The one thing I would suggest is that this hotel replace the rugs in the hallways and the stairway, the carpets are not pleasant to look at, very dirty and stained. The hotel itself is a bit out of the centre of the city, not really walkable so be prepared to bus or taxi into Ortigia. Their breakfasts are amazing, large selection and good variety of fresh food. We also had dinner at the hotel on our last night and it was Superb! One of the best meals we had overall. We would recommend this hotel if you don’t mind being a bit out of the way.

L'hotel è molto bello, moderno, in zona tranquilla e silenziosa, con piscina esterna e interna (presente idromassaggio e centro benessere) e palestra. La nostra camera era molto più grande delle camere che si trovano solitamente (sembrava una suite!) e anche il letto era extra size. Si dorme da favola e la pulizia è davvero impeccabile. L'unica cosa migliorabile è la colazione: la scelta potrebbe essere più ampia. La struttura è isolata quindi è necessario avere un mezzo proprio per spostarsi. Nel complesso, molto meglio delle attese, più simile ad un 5 stelle che ad un 4.

A resort type hotel in form of brick bungalow in Europe. It comes with a private pier where you could board on a comfortable boat going to Ortigia (the old town) in half an hour. The landscape there looks so gorgeous that anyone who lives in this hotel should miss it. It also has a private beach which can be accessed through a private tunnel which is quite interesting. Overall, a very beautiful resort overlooking the ortigia with very friendly services and 5-star facilities.

This small hotel on the island of Ortigia , is a gem. It’s on the seafront, and rooms with a sea view are the best so ask. It has several flights of stairs , to reception and the bedrooms and the roof terrace.. Our room was very spacious , with a great bathroom. Comfortable beds, great a/c and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was in the hotel opposite , very basic but enough. I can recommend the omelettes, and the cheeses. What makes this hotel so good though is the staff . They are very friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble . We loved our stay on this lovely historic island.

My wife and I spent 3 nights at this old convent in Ortigia, the old part of Siracusa. We were given a room on the third floor, with a small balcony overlooking the Ionian sea and, to the north, Etna looming in the distance behind the city (about 50 miles away). I believe this room had the best view of any place we’ve stayed. David and Cinzia at the front desk were extremely helpful, and recommended several good restaurants during our stay. This hotel was an ideal base for us to explore Siracusa by foot, or to just hang out and enjoy the view from our balcony. If you manage to get a room with a sea view, sunrise is not to be missed!
