Fun place to stay. Great location - right on the main square and a stone’s throw from the Old Bazaar, which is full of stores, bars and restaurants.

Hotel Senigalija is a mock galleon, firmly built into the bed of Skopje's Vardar River. It looks a bit odd but is delightfully quirky. The accommodation is comfortable rather than opulent - which suited us. The staff were delightful, helpful, interested, and welcoming. The restaurant and lounge areas look onto the river, city, and mountains. The breakfast buffet plus individually cooked eggs and bacon was excellent. Hotel Senigalija is in the absolute centre of Skopje, a short walk from the many museums, fort, Bazaar, restaurants, churches, and mosques. It is a lovely place to stay in a fascinating city

Strikly recomended. Just in the heart of the center. Great people, great service. Breakfast is super. The menu in the restoran iş great and all foods are very good. Rooms are very good. And maybe the most interesting hotel in the town. Hope to be in there again. 👍👍👍👍👍

The best location in Skopje! Right in the middle of it all.
The room and bed were comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. We stayed over New Years Eve, so the location was right next to the main square for the concert and countdown. Also just across the river from the Old Bazaar. Will DEFINITELY stay again next time in Skopje!

The Staff at the hotel were exceptional - in particular, Elizabeth (not the correct spelling) and Nina were fantastic servers in the restaurant during Breakfast and Dinner.
The entire hotel concept is very unique and definitely worth the experience.

Raining, 12 degrees and a dull day in Skopje. We fancied that this pirate ship would be a good idea. Not very much so. The ship looks good on the river in front of the classical bling buildings, the service was good and the breakfast was authentic and nicely prepared. The problem was the cabin where we were supposed to sleep. It was tiny, and I mean tiny. As was the shower/bathroom. And it was damp, stuff and hot inside. Very difficult to sleep because we couldn’t open the «windows». Hundreds of insects were waiting to capture the cabin. The insect nets were not functioning. Sorry to say: Not recommended.

The location could not be more central, close to shopping, concert hall and opera house, museum, old town and many restaurants.
The room was small but the hotel is built as a boat (and not too much space), that was really cool.
All the staff were so friendly and service minded. We thought it was a friendly place.
And nice with the bar and restaurant.

Certainly a unique experience staying on a mock galleon on the Vardar River. The rooms are a bit small but have loads of atmosphere, lotsof wood panelling etc. River view room are just that, the river is zero cms from the windows. Great view of the Archaeology Musueum, and rushing water sound at night good too, mosquito nets on windows. Bed and Shower good, breakfast really good loved tge buffet bit and eggs and bacon to order. Xero distance to the main squates and shopping.
