We've had our first family vacation experience with our little 15 months old toddler in this beautiful house with beautiful hosts... Awesome food including vegan options, clean and comfortable vintage room, always smiling and welcoming hosts who made us forget that we're on vacation, instead made us feel like we are at our own home. Our toddler enjoyed playing in the safe garden with beautiful plants and trees while we were enjoying our drinks under refreshing air with my spouse. The location is exceptionally perfect considering the distance to historical & touristic places, national parks and the beautiful beaches on the region. It is still a perfect place for those who prefer to rest before a beautiful sight in a stone house located in a magical stonehouse village. We already pointed this place as our favorite one that will be visited frequently on our vacations and I definitely recommend this place to anyone who plans a travel to this region. The setting was marvellous. As it is located uphill at the city border, it is a very calm environment and has a broad view over the city and the surrounding vineyards. The room was super clean, spacious and had a lovely design. The staff was very attentive and caring. Their English was excellent. The restaurant was refined and delicious. It exceeded out expectations.

Nice hotel and for the view a,one from the pool, it’s worth staying here…but…needs a few improvements which would mean we would not stay again. We had booked breakfast and it was one of the worst I’ve had in recent times. Flies landing in food that was uncovered, milk warm for cereal all days bar 1 day, hot food holders sometimes not switched on so food was cold and even cold drinks were warm…unless you asked for ice. The other issues were bar and restaurant prices. Far too expensive considering prices in town were cheaper. We paid €25 for a sharing meme platter which was a disgrace. For the money we got charged, it was definitely not worth it so if you enjoy a meze, wait until you’re in town as much more food and less price than the hotel provided! They even had the cheek to increase prices during our stay, which seemed to reflect what most folk were drinking, then they increased those drinks’ prices. No need to rip your own guests off guys! Lastly we found reception staff blunt and not very friendly. They also charged €30 to keep our room on but only until 5pm latest as room cleaners finished at 6. This is also poor service considering we came in on a late night flight and went home on a late night flight. The rooms were clean, as was pool area. As I mentioned, pool view was brilliant and so quite.

The Nisanyan delights in its own eccentricities and that's what encourages visitors to find their way ten kilometres up a country road from Selcuk to Sirince. The village itself has somewhat sold its soul to the tourist dollar but the inn, sitting just above the village centre, remains a warren of pathways and rustic buildings, with a delightful pool tucked away in the upper gardens and a wonderful terrace restaurant to enjoy excellent cooking (magnificent chicken clay pot stew) as the sun goes down. It seems miles from anywhere, and spiritually it is.

We stayed in the Deluxe Sea View room which was a lovely modern room, well furnished and with a stunning view of the sea. The bathroom, although small, was modern and well-fitted. Beds were super comfy. I think it's a Turkish summer thing, but in the summer time, there are no duvets provided in the rooms - Only a bedspread type of thing, which felt strange, but we experienced this in several hotels during our stay. The location was excellent - Right across the road from the promenade and the sea. We could people-watch right from the comfort of our room. We were opposite the famous Kusadasi sign, could see the majestic cruise ships come in each morning, and also saw a couple of the most beautiful sunsets I have ever seen. Restaurants, bars, shops and the Marina mall were all just a few steps away from the hotel. Ali at the reception, was extremely helpful before and after we checked in. Even despite a very last-minute request, he organized a guide for us to take us to Ephesus, who turned out to be brilliant. He also promptly organized Adaland tickets for us so we could skip the ticket queue. We had an issue with our A/C, which wasn't cooling, and the housekeeping staff promptly fixed it, after which it worked very well. Cleanliness & house-keeping was on point! I was so happy to have a full length mirror in the room! (a bit of a rarity in many mid range hotels in Turkey) The breakfast spread was my favourite part - such a huge spread, delicious coffee, and they were the first hotel during our trip in Turkey that served my now favourite Kaymak (Turkish clotted cream in honey) Breakfast was served on the rooftop which again had lovely views of the sea. We had a wonderful stay, and wished we could have stayed longer. We can't wait to go back and stay at Ilayda once again.
