Double Room is small, double bed, no room for luggage. One small duvet for two people, resulting in a cold night. Few staff speak Norwegian. Staff are helpful, but language is a problem. Restaurant is ok, not more. Breakfast is good, varied choices and plentiful. Hotel room gives the impression of being built on the cheap, for sppearance rather than quality. Windows are puntured resulting in foggy view.

I had some issues with the lack of available plugs near the bed for charging my phone. Eventually, I had to use a plug meant for a lamp, which meant that it would turn off if I turned off the light switch. To charge my phone, I had to sleep with the roof lights on, which was a bit inconvenient. Overall, my stay was decent, but a bit pricey. However, I had a negative experience with the taxi service at the airport. They charged me 300kr for a 3-minute drive, which felt like a pure scam. One more issue I had was that the room had a strong smell of aeroplane fuel gas at first, but luckily, as the night went on, it stopped lingering.

There is no shortage of things to see in the area, with the Tananger Harbour Park, Playground and Tananger Church all nearby.After a long day of sightseeing, guests can retire to the comfort of the hotel. We chose this hotel primarily for its convenient location near the ferry terminal and airport, with ample free parking. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and the front desk staff were friendly, offering us a late check-out, which we appreciated. Our room was very quiet, with a lovely ocean view, far from the restaurant and conference halls. However, the room itself was quite dated, different from the photos shown on the website, and the bathroom was cramped, with little legroom when using the toilet. The room was also very hot in late September. No fan in the room. We had to leave the window open overnight. The breakfast buffet had a good selection with decent variety. Despite the excellent location, we wouldn’t choose to stay here again due to the room’s discomfort.
