Positives:- - very friendly welcome when arriving at midnight - nice quiet pool area during the day, plenty of space - clean and tidy, with nice rooms and friendly staff and a good atmosphere - vodka with breakfast! - good location in town, quiet, nice design to hotel - long trousers at dinner enforced - nice spa area (steam room & sauna) Negatives:- - very noisy with music etc from 2100 to 0030 every night - can be busy at meal times, with dinner queues for fish - could do with a exercise class or water aqua once a day but understand the reason why there is not - not really an issue, but very few British there, mainly German focussed - was the extra cost worth it?

We visited this hotel in July for our summer holiday as a family of three. We arrived late and went straight to our room to unpack and go to bed, we had a ground floor garden/pool view room, at first we we’re not sure about being on the ground floor but we ended up really enjoying being there, it was so handy to get to the pool or the bar where we could take drinks back and enjoy them on our spacious terrace. The room was large with a huge comfortable bed and our daughter slept on a very comfy sofa bed, there was everything you could need in the room, tv, kettle, fridge, robes and we had a large walk in shower. The pool was a lovely size and great temperature we never had an issue getting a sun lounger at any time of the day, the pool had a very relaxing vibe, what really stands out at this hotel was the staff! Everyone works so hard and really looked after us! They really spoiled our little girl and it really made our holiday special! The good was very good and always a good selection with live cooking stations and for lunch was from the a la carte menu at the terrace restaurant, there was as a very good indoor pool at the spa which children were allowed into from 11-1pm and then it was adults only, the hotel was in a great location just opposite the fantastic beach and surrounded by lots of shops etc, so if you are looking for a chilled out hotel with lovely staff and good food, nice drinks and low key evening entertainment this hotel is for you, we would definitely come back!

TA members from the UK will notice that there not many reviews on this hotel so forgive me if I post a long summary of the hotel and its facilities We arrived for a 5 night stay with Jet 2 and the transfer took one hour twenty minutes which allowing for one drop off in Costa Calma and three as we entered Jandia did not seem too bad. The front of the hotel is not grand but walking through the door and its like a different world. Only one other couple got off the coach with us and we beat them to reception where we received a quick check in and a drink . A friendly porter took us and our luggage to our room (315) and gave a quick explanation of how the free safe worked. Ours was a pool view room and I had asked for a room off the ground but we could still see the sea from the balcony. Our room was spacious with 2 single beds, a settee, chair, fridge, TV, kettle and plenty of draw and hanging space. The bathroom had a walk in shower, bidet, hair dryer, toiletries and good sized bathroom towel. On the balcony was 2 chairs and 2 sun loungers and was very private unless you stood right on the edge. The room was very quiet except in the bathroom where you could hear voices from somewhere else in the hotel. The TV only had a couple of English speaking news channels, one English speaking film channel but on some channels you can change the audio to the original recorded language if English. The air conditioning is good and sometimes we needed to turn it off. The restaurant is on the ground floor so there are some tables to eat outside and notices ask for men to wear long trousers. ( More of that later). Many tables are for 2 only because this hotel seems to be popular with mature couples and the food is by way of a buffet. The hotel only has 214 rooms so there is not the widest choice of hot food available at dinner but there is show cooking for fish and meat. Breakfast has omelettes to order , egg, bacon, small sausages and sometimes beans as well as cold meats etc. Service is excellent, coffee at breakfast brought straight away to your table as you sit down and tables cleared and reset straight away. At dinner your drinks order is taken quickly and I was surprised what good value the drinks were for a 4* hotel. House wine 4 euro for a decent sized glass and a 750 mil bottle 18 euro. Not all waiters speak good English as their second language but their enthusiasm for their job outweighs any mistakes. There was never a queue in the evening for tables There does not appear to be any day time entertainment activities, not even Aqua Aerobics but there is nightly entertainment 6 nights a week. This is either a singer/s, acrobats or dancers, some are quite good. Table service at night in the bar and attendance varies but the stools at the bar are very popular. There is a Spa offering massages and beauty treatments. There is an indoor pool with a reasonable temperature, sauna and steam room. The latter was popular and I find it great to sit in the buff i

Although the hotel is situated on the main beach road amongst shops and cafes it is very peaceful. No music or games in the pool area add to the peaceful atmosphere. The bedrooms, we had one on the top floor, were spacious and comfortable and the large furnished balconies were a bonus. The hotel was kept very clean, the staff were pleasant and happy to help. The food was good, not brilliant, though plenty of choice, but the bacon at breakfast had the consistency of plastic and the baked beans were lukewarm. There were plenty of sunbeds, a few people left towels on the beds all day and there was sometimes a problem with umbrellas as guests would move a couple of extra umbrellas to shade their beds which left many beds in full sun. Some maintenance was needed on broken umbrellas. We did have a problem with the underground car park, there isn't a lift and it means climbing up three flights of steep stairs which for elderly guest with some mobility problems could be difficult. We had been told that we could park on the road side but could never find spot. British guests are in the minority though we never found we were treated any different to the majority German visitors. On the whole lovely hotel, highly recommended, in fact we have already booked a winter week there.

Booked our holiday through Jet2 and was very nervous as knew the hotel didn’t have much for my 3 year old, but I’m happy to say I will 10000% return! From check in to check out, the staff were wonderful and so friendly with my son. The staff love having the kids around and even if they are running around and making friends of an evening, they are not bothered by this one single bit, it made the holiday so much better and from breakfast to late night drinking the staff are always so happy, they put the utmost effort into everything they do around the hotel and it shows by how clean the surroundings are! The hotels rooms are spacious, and wow the cleaners are great, everyday our room was cleaned as if we had only just arrived! We originally booked half board through Jet2 but decided to upgrade to all inclusive when we arrived for an extra 500euros for our 10 night stay, we also got to chose when this started and finished, this was well worth the money upgrading at the hotel and I highly recommend. I read reviews before arriving that the food was the same every night for dinner so wasn’t sure what to expect but I do not agree with that comment, food was varied every night during our stay and we always saw something different on the buffet to choose from! Breakfast, yes that was the same and lunch you chose from a menu but these were great too. Lots of choices, and a great desert table which of course came in handy with my toddler! The local area was lovely and clean, lots of shops to have a wonder around and the walk to Marro Jable along the beach is very pretty, and not to far either. If you are a family looking for a day out, the oasis wildlife park was a great day out, the bus picks you up and drops you back to the hotel and there is lots to do and see at the park. The hotel also offers a spa, which was lovely for relaxation but also because during certain times of the day children are allowed in, which is great for downtime out of the sun! Please don’t dismiss this hotel if you are a family just because there isn’t anything at the hotel for them, if anything it was perfect as they made friends and their own fun! The evening entertainment wasn’t amazing but fitted well with the chilled atmosphere around the hotel, and my son definitely wasn’t bothered and still danced the night away! Beautiful hotel - an oasis of calm. Staff work so hard to look after the clients. Food is good/very good and plentiful. Entertainment every night of ok quality. But there is a culture of playing board games after dinner or sitting on the terrace enjoying cocktails if you don’t like the music. Rooms are spacious, very well maintained and cleaned daily. We had a special celebration and the staff pulled out the stops to decorate a table and treat us with great attention. It feels like a proper family/community. Special mention to Wim, Fefi, Jacqueline, Juan and Manuel who are lovely people and fantastic at their jobs. The spa is wonderful and part of the package - quiet during the day often get it all to yourself to relax in the salty pool with various jacuzzi apparatus. Steam room sauna and relaxing aroma room of and don’t forget the freezing plunge pool! Things to note Most staff have a little English though reception speak it fluently. All inclusive is a great deal - even with prices on the cocktail and lunch menus these are included. Not much for young children. Walk to the beach is lovely and takes about 10 mins to get to the seafront E-scooters outside the hotel are a fun and quick way to get into Morro Jable Bus transfer can be free for over 10 day booking - multiple stops take about 2 hours but well worth it. Been 5 times - will go again!
