Solomons Victorian Inn

Such a beautiful Victorian inn with a wonderful harbor view. The Inn keepers, Steve and Shawn, are friendly and helpful with suggestions and recommendations. The breakfasts are creative, beautifully presented and delicious, and the afternoon cookies are a treat to look forward too! Just a short stroll to many great restaurants and the Solomon's Island boardwalk along the river. The rooms are pretty and the sheets are soft, just an overall great get away!

The hosts are very hospitable. Food was excellent and always home cooked. They even give you baked goods during the day. Room was very clean and comfortable. Stayed in the harbor sunset room which had a deck and a wonderful view. Location is right on Solomon’s island which is nice to walk around. Highly highly recommend

Absolutely wonderful experience. The inn was cozy and inviting. Our room was lovely with a beautiful view of the water. Our host Tara and Damyon were warm, friendly and personable. We loved the close attention they paid to our dietary preferences. The entire stay was first rate. Hope to see you again soon!

The Solomons Victorian Inn was a wonderful place to stay while visiting Solomons Island. The location is perfect and walkable to many attractions and restaurants. Our room had a waterfront view and we also enjoyed sitting out in the lawn chairs overlooking the water. The house is beautiful and our room was very nice. The owners are very friendly and have thought of everything to make your stay enjoyable. Breakfast was delicious and we were even given a homemade baked goodie to take for the ride home. We are going to stay again, next time a little longer

It’s the details that matter. The house is lovely and the landscaping and view are gorgeous. But it was the details that make a memorable visit. The music in the dining area and our room, the home baked treats, and the in-room coffee maker are just a few of the special touches. Add to that friendly hosts that made us feel at home and a delicious breakfast. It was a wonderful stay.

My husband and I celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary at Solomons Victorian Inn! We stayed in the Harbour Sunset. The room was very nice and had an amazing view of the harbour and the sunset - hints the name!! The owners Steve and Shawn were very sweet and gave us tons of ideas of things to do in the area and many restaurant options which were all great, and within walking distance! Breakfast each morning was delicious! Shawn's cookies were a special treat each day!! Thanks Steve and Shawn for making our anniversary special - I'm sure we will return soon!! Patricia & Wyndel

This was our second visit to Solomons Victorian Inn and it was even more beautiful and relaxing than the first time. Steve and Shawn are outstanding hosts and the view from our Islandscape room was incredible and restful especially after a day spent hiking at Calvert Cliffs. We have already booked a third visit!

Total relaxation with every detail taken care of. First the husband/wife innkeepers Shawn and Steve were amazing and cared so much that we had a wonderful stay. We had my elderly parents w us in their ground floor room called the "Islandscape"and we had one of the main house "Narada" room. The view and location were fantastic. The breakfasts were special 3 course including fresh fruit and something sweet and savory. The baked goods every day by Shawn showed her love and talent for baking--even a goodie bag at our departure. If I lived closer, I would come more often! There's a game room, binoculars, hot chocolate w mini marshmallows, beautiful sitting areas to enjoy the view throughout the property including the front porch where we hung out after dinner. The restaurant right across the street about a stone's throw away at Charles Street served tapas and seafood w live jazz in a Sat night. We also tried Bugeye Grill another night and they were fantastic too. Never really had to get back in the car as you can walk just a few blocks up to the main part of town w a few shops and restaurants. Right next door is an outdoor salty tiki bar that looks fun when it warms up more. I could go on and on. Oh, and Calvert Cliffs park is only 10 min away by car where you can find shark teeth and fossils, which we did! Soo much better than a hotel or airbnb!

Excellent bed and breakfast with the greatest hosts! Steve and his wife Shawn are such a wonderful and kind couple. They made us feel right at home immediately and baked us so many treats! They even had cupcakes for my birthday! The location was in walking distance to restaurants, bars, ice cream, and marinas. The Inn was very clean and charming. We looked forward to breakfast on the enclosed porch each morning with the best views of the harbor and marina! What a great little spot to get away and relax!
