This is very long over due so apologies. I stayed in this hotel early may in the first week. I was getting married to a polish girl and I had family flying into the country and all staying at the hotel. The first to arrive was my godfather who during his stay had to visit the local hospital a few times. He said the hotel reception was lovely and they organised a taxi for him and to be picked up once he was finished. On his first night we went to the restaurant and we both had the farmera burger. We both had this burger and loved it, I highly recommend for any guest to try it. Two days later the rest of my family arrived where they were all in a very timely manner were checked in and shown to their rooms, the only issue they had wit their rooms were the key cards stopped working for some and had to get them set u again, no one minded. The night before the wedding all of my family and friends ate in the restaurant which again 80% of them got the farmera burger from my recommendation. shortly after our meal we all started to drink, now We are all Irish so we drank a lot. It was about midnight and the bar in the restaurant was closing so the receptionist offered us to use the lobby and we were able to bring booze from the nearby shop, and she even gave us shot glasses to which of course we did use and we drank a lot. we got rowdy, bit messy but we cleaned up after ourselves. Nothing bad was said by the receptionist they honesty never minded but smiled at us quite often. Wedding day itself! the wedding was not in the hotel but away. on the morning I had to be ready at 12:00 as the photographers were coming. I rang reception and asked was it possible for someone to clean the room before they arrived. 20 mins later the room was clean. Once all pictures were done we were off. A few days later when guests were checking out they all could not get over the hotel and found everything was well organised. so here is a brief overview... The room (209) - clean, modern, mini fridge in the room with snacks but i never used the snacks i did buy my own. aircon was good if u left it running for a while but did the job. the window viewed a main dual carriage way but honestly it never bothered me and slept fine. Beds were very comfy and extremely soft. Location- I chose this hotel for a few reasons as I have stayed in Bedzin loads of times and know the area. It has a 24hr kfc, McDonald's, petrol station all a 2 minute walk from hotel, a huge shopping centre (M1) which has everything you may want or need. Overview - I love this hotel and am travelling to Poland again in January but my wife has decided to stay in a cheaper option for our stay. We will be back again in July and will be 100% staying here again.

Lovely hotel located on the edge of the city centre of Katowice. Very clean, quiet and well presented. The staff are very friendly and also speak good English. Check-in was swift, taking literally 60 second to get the door keys. We didn't take advantage of breakfast as we were out of the hotel both days before breakfast service started. The hotel is easily found by taking a tram from the city to Katowice Graniczna tram stop, walk past Lidl and it's on the left.

Stayed 3 nights during the easter break. Was a really nice relaxing stay with lots of things to do with in the hotel. With a nice pool + jacuzzi + Sauna, a gym and a small area for kids. Definitely recommend. Would go again.

Very kind and helpful staff, dark curtains so we could sleep very well, big room and so much space for our rabbit to run and explore, wonderful fitness center and swimming pool with saunas and our car was parked right in front of the hotel

REZYDENCJA LUXURY HOTEL PIEKARY SLASKIE, POLOGNE. Séjour en septembre 2020. Voilà un hôtel coup de coeur ! C'et un réel plaisir que d'être ici. Charmant accueil, avec une jeune personne très professionnelle. Beau bâtiment. Jolie décoration intérieure. Grands jardins magnifiquement bien arboré et décoré. Sauna, jacuzzi. Chambre pas très grande, mais bien agencé et bien décoré, tout comme la salle de bain avec un excellent éclairage. Belle et grande salle de restaurant pour le diner avec sa grande terrasse extérieure donnant sur les jardins. Plats de très bonne qualité et de belles présentations. Petits déjeuners servit dans la petite salle intime, vu côté parking. Joli petit buffet de qualité et belle présentation des produits. Servi par un personnel agréable, serviable et disponible. Parking gratuit. Voilà un excellent séjour en tout point de vue! Seul reproche, l'accueil a la réception au moment du départ, une dame peu agréable.

Dlaczego, kiedy przyjechałam dwa tygodnie temu i poszedłam do recepcji, odbyłam normalny dialog z młodymi ludźmi, a oni rozmawiali ze mną po ludzku? A przedwczoraj, kiedy moja mama musiała czekać 17 godzin na autobus i przyszła do was zapytać, czy może odpocząć i zapłacić za pokój, w odpowiedzi usłyszała niegrzeczny ton, przewracanie oczami i skrzywione usta niezadowolonych (chyba z życia) recepcjonistów. Nie akceptujecie euro, komentując, że ”jakie euro, skoro jesteśmy w Polsce”, traktujecie ją jakby przyszła żebrać o jałmużnę, albo wyrzucała was z własnego domu. A za pokój na 10-12 godzin zginaliście cenę 150 euro. Jeśli tak bardzo nien@widzicie wszystkich, którzy nie mówią po polsku - idźcie pracować w fabryce lub zbierać śmieci. To h@ńba dla europejskiego państwa, a przy okazji akt dyskr*minacji ze względu na inny język i fakt, że moja mama nie jest Polką. Poradziłam mamie, żeby przyszła do was i odpoczęła, ale teraz ostrzegę wszystkich, żeby omijali wasze miejsce z tak paskudnym nastawieniem. I pamiętajcie, że jeśli usuniecie moją recenzję, napiszę ją ponownie. Utworzę tyle skrzynek pocztowych, ile będzie trzeba, aby upewnić się, że wszyscy zobaczą tę recenzję. Napiszę też do kierownictwa, żeby was wszystkich zwolnili. H@ŃBA! Jak można być tak bezwstydnym i pozbawionym skrupułów? ●●●●●●●●●●●●●● Disgusting attitude of the staff. Why, when I came a fortnight ago and went to the reception, I had a normal dialogue with young people and they talked to me in a human way? And the day before yesterday, when my mother had to wait 17 hours for the bus and came to you to ask if she could rest and pay for the room, in response she heard the annoyed receptionists' disgruntled tone, an exasperated sigh and pulling a face. You do not accept euro, commenting on it ”what euros if we are in Poland”, treated her as if she came to beg for alms, or kicked you out of your own home. And for a room for 10-12 hours you bent the price of 150 euros. If you h@te everyone who doesn't speak Polish so much - go work in a factory or collect rubbish. It is a di$grace for a European state and, by the way, an act of di$crimination on the grounds of another language and the fact that my mum is not Polish. I advised my mum to come to you and have a rest, but now I will warn everyone to avoid your place with such a nasty attitude. And keep in mind that if you delete my review, I'll write it again. I'll create as many mailboxes as it takes to make sure everyone sees this review. And I will also write to your management to have you fired, all of you. DI$GRACE! How can one be so shameless and unscrupulous?

Fantastic hotel located in the very centre of the city. The rooms are large by European standards. The furnishings give the impression of being new and modern. This is because the hotel is only five years old. In a bathroom a full set of cosmetics. But not in small tubes of 20 ml, when the gel runs out. Everywhere is clean and it seems that the highest standards of hygiene are respected. A few steps to the main square, opposite the historic castle, many shops and fast food around. A 24-hour grocery shop with a huge selection at petrol station BP, only 4-5 minutes walk. The hotel is located by a river, where there are walking and relaxation areas. It is known that the atmosphere and quality is created by people. I was extremely warmly welcomed by a lady from reception. She was very friendly, offered all kinds of help and everything seemed very professional, even though I checked in after midnight. I had previously exchanged a few emails with Martyna, the front office manager, who resolved all my concerns regarding the very late check-in and selected a room that I was happy with. In addition, I was given advice on what to visit during my stay. I appreciated the sweet gift and the welcome letter. The rooms do not cost much per night, for such little money a really high quality is offered. I have been to Hiltons on 4 continents, but this Hampton is much better than many Hiltons, which is the flagship of the company.

I booked this hotel mainly for convenience to get to Auschwitz for a 9.30am tour, but I also wanted to treat myself to the superior double room & the spa the evening before. Firstly, there were 2 single beds rather than a double (see photo) and they said sometimes in Poland a ”double” refers to 2 singles. It's misleading and I find it odd they're not more clear, especially as they must've had similar complaints about this before, so beware! Secondly, I went down to the spa to spend time in the sauna and jacuzzi but the area was drafty because the door to a strange patio area was open. I think this is where the outdoor pool normally is but there was nothing there but a couple of chairs and an umbrella, so this was another let down. Thirdly, and the worst thing of all, was the breakfast. Awful all round, I've only ever had as bad a breakfast once before and that was in a Travelodge. The coffee was bland, the choice of food was limited, a lot of the spread was cheaply presented and nothing like the photos, so beware. Worst of all was the fruit which was rancid, literally. See my photo, it's quite unbelievable. Also, rather disappointingly, I was looking forward to having a pint in the cellar bar but I discovered it was only open certain evenings, I was gutted, nothing seemed to be going right here. The only reason I gave this 2 star rather than 1 was because of the dinner. I had purchased it as part of a package with the room and had it in a restaurant attached to the hotel. After reading the menu for a while the waitress told me I needed another menu for the package deal so of course I was suspicious. I've taken a photo of this menu as you should be aware the choice is limited. I ordered the zur, dumplings & tiramisu. For all I know it was all defrosted but to be fair it tasted really good, so this was a saving grace. Anyway, please beware of my points, its not a great hotel but it is just a 5-10 minute taxi ride to Auschwitz (1) so it is convenient, though there will be closer smaller hotels or B&B's that are a closer walking distance I'm sure. I have been totally transparent with this review and often I wish hotels could do the same, please don't be surprised if your stay is not as good as you expected.

I AND MY SON stayed there from 5 Feb to 8 Feb for 3 nights. Its a beautiful hotel, compact and homely. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The bathroom is big and good. The kitchen is very well equipped with Microwave, Toaster, Fridge, Cooking Plate, Water heater, coffee maker etc and all types of utensils. You can cook and sit on the table and comfortably eat. It's a place I recommend 100%. YOU CAN PARK your car in the hotel premises so that's also very safe and secure. Most importantly it is walking distance to the Auschwitz 1 Camp. If you are staying there with the intention of visiting the camp, then as ypu step put of the 6th room gate, ypu find a huge park bang opp...just walk through and at the end of the connecting road turn left and in a few minutes you will be at the Auschwitz entrance. First day, we made a mistake and turned to left from the 7th room entrance, but then we came to the backside of the Auschwitz camp which is only a staff entrance, and we had to walk another 1km to reach the entrance. Hence don't turn left. Thank you 7th Room....you made a most memorable and a wonderful destination, and 2 or 3 years later I will visit again and MOST CERTAINLY stay here! Aseem Varma
