You really couldn't ask for a better location to put a hotel. Centrally located in a very walkable city and close to all the college campuses in town. When I reserved the room I did put a request in for a room high up (there are 17 stories) to be able to take in the view. When we arrived at check in, we were placed on the 8th floor, but when I pointed out I requested to be higher, we were placed on the 16th floor with no trouble or fuss. What a gorgeous view of the Notre Dame golden dome and mosaic church! The room is spacious with lots of places to place luggage. There is a small refrigerator in the bathroom. Water pressure and temp in the shower were good, but be aware that the tiled floor in the shower is very, very slippery with no grab bars or places to hang a wash cloth inside the shower. Body wash, shampoo and conditioner are provided in pump bottles attached to the shower wall and are of good quality. The pool (on the 6th floor) was terrific. Small and pretty shallow, but warm and clean. It was just us in there when we used it, but a sign says it could accomadate 75 people, but you would be pretty much shoulder to shoulder. There are two nice showers for before and after your swim, and there is a lift at the side of the pool to lift you into the water if you are differently abled. We did not use the breakfast option or visit the pretty bar, but the folks there, mostly younger business folks seemed to be having a great time. We used the on sight parking ramp that was secure, convenient to the elevators and reasonably priced at 15 dollars for the night. Try the Irish pub just one door down for a great meal and friendly service.

The Inn at St Mary’s is perfect.y located alongside the tri campus setting of Notre Dame, St. Mary’s and Holy Cross College. The gathering place in the lobby is friendly and conducive to companionate activity. Very helpful attendants made everything go smoothly. The complimentary breakfast was better than elsewhere.

Loved it will be staying here again

We stayed here while traveling on vacation. The beds are as expected of a Hampton Inn. The room was pleasant and spacious for the two of us. The room was clean and no bugs found. Breakfast was as expected of a Hampton Inn, and the only fault we could find was we had to wait 5 minutes for the waffle mix to be filled back up. We would likely stay here again if passing through.

After Being left in a bind by a rental car company (Hertz) declining to deliver on my car I supposedly had reservation for, I got to spend several hours late at night at the S.B. Airport! With no solutions in sight, and Uber not responding, I started calling nearby hotels that were in walking distance or would come and pick me up at 10:30 PM on a weeknight! Although I was a little apprehensive at first, this hotel not only sent a van, they PICKED UP A PIZZA for me from across the street when Dominos had no Delivery people available, and would not allow me to come inside to pick it up! (They said they WOULD be willing to leave it at the back door for pickup) (They were closing due to no delivery drivers) The Manager of the Hotel went above and beyond to help me out, gave me a discounted rate for a two day stay (long story), and made my stay as enjoyable as possible!
