Hannah Game Lodge

It was our second accommodation in South-Africa after the hotel at Johannesburg Airport. What a peaceful place. So quiet and with a fantastic view. At night the sky is full of stars. You have to drive 6 km to the lodge on a dirt road after you’ve passed the gate. With a normal car this takes about 30 minutes. But you’re driving in a private nature reserve so in this 30 minutes you’ll be able to see a lot of animals (kudu, warthog, impala). Hannah’s is a big property but that doesn’t mean you’re just a number. Great food (the desserts are divine) and friendly staff.

Stayed here for 2 days with my wife. Gorgeous and quiet place, and the staff is incredibly friendly. We had a standard lodge. Beds are good, bathroom somewhat outdated but OK. No TV and WiFi in the room, only WiFi in the restaurant. The location is perfect for those who are traveling from Johannesburg to Kruger. We also spotted giraffes during diner, which was incredible. Would highly recommend visiting Hannah’s lodge. WiFi in the room would make it a 10/10 for me.

Even though a short stay, we had an amazing time. The facility is beautiful and the staff was extremely friendly and professional. Would recommend Hannah lodge to all and can’t wait for our next visit.

I had to travel to Hoedspruit on business. Got away from Pretoria quite late and followed my client's advice that we should stay at this lodge. What a great decision it proved to be. The food, even though a buffet, was delicious. The staff were very friendly and efficient. The room was a 5-star experience and the surroundings great. I now have a new place to stay over on my way to the Kruger National Park.

The lodge is excellent in every way , location is great , food is top notch and rooms are very clean and neat . The only problem I had was due to the fact I was travelling for business the cell signal was not great for Vodacom and thats the only issue I had as I need great signal for business calls.

We spent one night in this guest house. If it’s not the paradise it’s look like it. It’s a huge property with animals (ostriches, springboks,..) with a nice swimming pool. We had a bungalow with very nice room and bathroom. The dinner was a buffet with a lot of choices. The place is very quiet. At night we could see the stars in the sky. I recommend this guest house if you are in Ohrigstadt.

I have been staying at Hanna Lodge for the last few years, its aways a good stay. Great food, clean, amazing views and awesome staff. The new upgraded dinning area is a nice addition and perfect to watch the sunset from.

We, once again, had a wonderful experience at Hannah Game Lodge, From the staff, the food, location and accommodation the services levels are high, food amazing and accommodation comfortable in a little piece of heaven.

This is a beautiful location with an impressive main building, but it falls far short of what it pretends to be. The price and hype promises an upmarket experience. Not so. On night one the TV didn't work, and there is no WiFi in the rooms. On night two I ordered a Red Heart and Coke in the bar. First one fine. Second one, well, after 15 minutes with an empty glass, the Coke arrived. Only the Coke. Waitress disappears. A long search tracks her down to the kitchen where she is filling a jug with olive oil! Where is my drink? Oh, its coming! Really? 20 minutes later... I skipped the drink, and dinner. I want nothing from these people. Never again. Train your staff, for goodness sake! Sort out your WiFi. This is an upmarket venue with untrained and unconcerned staff. Rather stay home.
