Best choice for this price. Room was small but cozy, the best budget hotel we had during this trip in Phillipines (we had three ones before). Rooftop terrace is perfect, we take once our meal to eat it in the evening and we enjoy it. The location was comfortable for our needs as well.

PPengguna TetamuThis is definitely a secure hostel with keycard access to its entrance and to your room. Inside the room, there are lockers too but not all of them are usable. The hostel appears to be a conversion of someone's home, so there is a lounge and dining area for meeting other travellers and a really good kitchen. The 8 bed dorms must have been bedrooms with ensuite. However, that's the problem - if the room is fully occupied, then one ensuite (combined shower and toilet) means waiting. I don't mind waiting for s shower (and it has hot water no less), but waiting for the toilet is not fun. The other disadvantage of this hostel is its location - you must walk down to the main road to pick up any tricycle, habal-habal, taxi or jeepney to go to the city or port. There aren't any dining options near the hostel either but they do have groceries you can purchase if you want to do that. The free breakfast is coffee with toast & jam, bananas, nuts, oats and sultanas - you can have as much as you like, then wash up your dishes. The beds are comfy zones with privacy curtain, light, power outlet and 3 hooks for hanging you clothes. The room is of course air conditioned. The staff are lovely and organised a great day tour for me at an excellent price. If it wasn't for the location and shortage of toilets, I'd give this hostel 10/10.

I traveled solo to Tagbilaran for business. The Metrocentre was recommended to me. Upon check in, I was requested to make a 500 peso deposit. The front desk clerk said it was for ”incidentals” and would be refunded upon check out. I asked what was meant by ”incidentals” and she said it refered to any other charges I made on my account, such as food at the coffee shop. I was billeted in a standard room, which could have accommodated two people. It was very comfortable. Bed mattress and pillows were nice and firm. The aircondition unit was working very efficiently and kept me cold, which was what I wanted. The bathroom was clean and spacious enough. I felt a little bit claustrophobic though because the window of my room was a small one and was heavily draped. Even if I drew the drapes open, the view to the outside was obscured by some kind of machine, probably an aircon unit. Amenities in the room included free bottled water (2 bottles), two cookie packs, shampoo and soap. There were nice thick bath towels and rubber slippers for room use. There were a lot of lights, I noticed. Some of the light switches were hidden by the pillows on the bed. I didn't see them at first and had to call the front desk to find out how to switch a couple of the overhead lights off. The room had a nice flat screen TV and a refrigerator. Wifi is best downstairs at the hotel lobby. Signal is weak in the rooms. My booking came with free plated breakfast, a choice of American or Filipino. In terms of serving size, it's pretty decent. Breakfast is served as early as 5 am and so that is really, really convenient if you have to get out early. The free airport shuttle was also another convenient service offered by the hotel. The hotel coffee shop is pleasant. Service was friendly and accommodating. My hosts, who chose this hotel for me, said that they chose this hotel because it was safe. I would go back to this hotel.

PPengguna TetamuI really like the customer service. I had to check out early the next day because of my flight and I asked if I can have an early breakfast. They agreed and gave me sandwiches with sandwich spread (lady’s choice?) and bottled water. Room (for 2, no windows) was small but clean and quite nice. Bed was comfortable. I had 2 complimentary water bottles, 2 toothbrushes, 2 shampoos, and 2 soaps. Room was for two but I’m the only one who stayed in the room (accidentally booked for two adults). Surprised that there was no water heater and bidet (there was only a dipper/tabo). Shower water pressure was subpar. The soap dispenser in the shower was broken. Only place I can put any soap was the sink. Wifi speed was good. I saw parking for 4 cars in front of the hotel. Unsure if there are more parking spaces.

PPengguna TetamuSo I went to bohol for a wedding and then after the wedding we stayed here in OYO 499. I did not set my expectations high because it was cheapest I can find. When I went inside the guy carried my things upstairs which is a plus since we are on the 3rd floor even without me telling him. The check out was also good and fast. What I did not like was the fact that the backup generators went on and off. So it went on for 1 to 2 hours then turned off and then went again for an hour then turned on again. Overall I know it was not their fault there is no electricity but would have been good if the generators were kept always on.

PPengguna TetamuI stayed at Kode inn on march 12-15 2023, I like my room. It's very clean, comfortable and well ventilated. I had a nice view from my room of the tagbilaran bay but if you struggle going up the stairs it is best to request the ground floor rooms. I surely will recommend this place to my friends.
