Very beautiful environment. Its surrounded by many museums. The hotel is closed to the beach and sea. Many restaurants nearby. The gym and swimming pool is okay and it’s closed too early at 8:00 pm. The staff is very nice. It’s not a very fancy hotel but everything is fine.

I Stayed here with 4 friends for 3 nights last week and we had the best time ever .. the rooms were amazing and worked with 2 sharing one suite and 3 of us another. We had so much space and 2 bathrooms for the 3 sharing. The hotel arranged transport from the airport to the hotel and then for our return journey. We were overwhelmed with how attentive ALL the staff were. From the breakfast team (breakfast was delicious ) to the pool staff who served cocktails, delicious rosè and lunch and moved sunbeds as needed and umbrellas to the reception team who couldn’t do enough plus recommending restaurants which were all fantastic. Then there’s the spa which was such a fun experience and my friend had a massage which she said was the best massage ever (she’s a massage expert) I couldn’t recommend this hotel more and cascais is a very special place

Accommodation at nice and spacious golf villas less than 80 metres from the hotel, and a delicious breakfast at the hotel every morning was an excellent arrangement! Recommend it warmly. The staff at the Onyria Marinha Boutique Hotel was friendliest ever: lovely ladies at the reception, Luiza, Rafaela and Nadia, young men at the door and the whole breakfast staff. All with a friendly greeting and smile, always ready to help us. Thank you so much, each and everybody.❣️ The hotel's location is ideal for golfers as well as non-golfers. Cascais, Estoril, Lisbon, Sintra and Cabo da Roca are near and worth visiting. The weather was fine for golfing, with only 1,5 days rain.

After spending a week walking the Camino de Santiago pilgrimage, my husband and I sought out a beautiful boutique hotel for some R & R in Portugal. Estoril Vintage Hotel was the perfect choice. The mansion is spectacular with no detail overlooked. The decor was amazing and museum quality. The hotel is spotlessly clean. Our room was perfectly appointed with a very comfortable bed, in-room coffee, nighttime turndown service, and even chocolates waiting on the pillows each evening. The staff was attentive and met every need without question - starting with Jorge when we checked in, the concierge team, and all the way through the wait staff and maid service. The views are spectacular. We had to pinch ourselves each day to make sure this was real. How nice it was for Maria, the owner, to stop by and greet each of the guests individually while we had breakfast on the terrace each day - a lovely, personal touch. I cannot recommend this hotel enough for those looking for a unique and pampering experience in the Estoril/Cascais area. We walked to Cascais almost every day of our 6-day stay; only a short 10-15 minute walk. The beach is right there and many shops, restaurants, and places nearby to grab a souvenir, a sangria or Vinho Verde. This was a good location to catch a train into Lisbon (5 minute walk to the Monte Estoril train station) and we also spent a day in Sintra. The hotel is far enough away from the noisy downtown for tranquility, but close enough to the action when you want it. This place was amazing.

This is a great resort that we would stay at again. The rooms are clean and staff is great. My partner and I were on a 2 week vacation in Portugal and we wanted some place that we could have some pool time after doing morning excursions. There is a golf course that looks very nice. We didn’t play on this trip but maybe next time. The pool is nice and very relaxing. We did a trip to Sintra from this location and it’s only 20 minutes away. We went to Cascais which was only a 10 minute Uber ride. The breakfast which is included was very good. We would definitely stay here again.

This is a historical hotel where the author of James Bond books once lived and where one of the movies was filmed.
The rooms are good quality.
The spa has a swimming pool, jacuzzi, massage showers, hammam, sauna. However, they refused to give me more than 1 towel per visit.
The breakfast is good quality. You can order a custom-made omelette with various ingredients. The fruit choice included mango and papaya even in winter.
The only unpleasant moment was that they tried to downgrade the room category for us (give a lower category room than originally booked, even though it was in low season). I have never experienced that before in my entire life. Fortunately, thanks to an efficient intervention of the trip.com customer support, we managed to get the exact room type that we originally booked, but there was a little bit of a stress, so I advise everyone to double-check directly with the hotel what room category you will be put in BEFORE you arrive.

Carlos, was a wonderful host! Very welcoming and accommodating. … always wanting to make sure you were comfortable! A unique experience in a beautiful home. Shared areas were spacious, well appointed and amazingly beautiful. Rooms were well equipped with everything you need. Much like a bed and breakfast which I was not expecting… not to mention, the breakfast in the morning was fabulous. Carlos put a lot of effort into serving fresh fruit, croissants, pastries, Portuguese cold cuts, cheeses, fresh orange juice and espresso‘s, lattes, whatever coffee you desire! Thank you Carlos for making our stay in Cascais so memorable!

PPengguna TetamuEverything about this hotel was exceptional. The room was wonderful, Deluxe room with Sea view. Clean and lots of extra treats, cakes and chocolates daily and mini bar stocked with non alcoholic drinks. The staff here are exceptional, friendly providing a first class service. The Evening meal in the restaurant was gourmet food at its best and the staff were very knowledgeable about the wines. The buffet breakfast was fantastic, plenty of choice.
The hotel itself was beautiful, the location great, the parking was easy.
The spa facilities were truly wonderful.
I would definitely recommend this hotel. They have the right balance of providing luxury whilst being family friendly.

PPengguna TetamuThe thing about ”boutique” hotels is they often have limited rooms with little consistancy between them. Often the hotel is a former mansion or castle that has been converted to create the accomodations. The rooms featured on the website often look amazing but many of the rooms are often former butler's pantries or attic rooms the crazy aunt lived in with alll her cats so you have to be careful when booking. This place has some of that. Had we ended up in a former little closet room in the corner, we would not have been happy here. Fortunately we had booked the designer room with a balcony facing the ocean (210) which was fantastic to enjoy the ocean views. We moved the long bench from in front of the bed onto the balcony during the day to use as a sun lounger. Room was smaller but had tall ceilings and nicely remodeled. Comfy bed and nice bathroom with shower with all kinds of water options plus toilets had heated bidet hose. It is important to know that the pool area is seasonal due to the close proximity to the ocean and doesnt open until mid-April. During much of year it is closed as the North Atlantic waves thrash over the pool area filling it with dirty sea water. The hotel should state this on their homepage to avoid guests feeling a bit misled. I attached some pictures showing the pool area we had without any lounges and water looking like a sewer discharge. The weather we had was sunny and hot yet couldn't use the pool so felt frustrated. I'm a daily lap swimmer so had been hoping to use the pool in the mornings for my swims. The view of the ocean with the crashing waves against the rocks made the stay very relaxing. Also it is a nice short walk to town with wonderful views along the way. Additionally it is a beautiful walk or run to the west along the rock cliffs by the ocean. Truly magical location. The hotel itself was lovely and ecclectic with fun art throughout. Hotel staff was very nice and the included a quality breakfast buffet was tasty and plentiful. We had to leave in the middle of the night for a very early flight out. The manager had take away lunches for us which was a nice touch. We booked the hotel in part because it was part of the AMEX Platinum Hotel collection which comes with some additional benefits if you have the card. We had been to Lisbon many times but so glad we discovered Cascais this time. Certainly will be back.

IILYAThe hotel is overall ok, but my experience is really controversial.
Pros:
Good value for money. The location is quite central. Clean rooms. Live music at the rest zone near the reception from time to time.
Cons:
Cleaning process is ruining the perception. No logic, no exact timing, they can even enter the room with a sign ”no disturb” on the door.
Sound proof is poor, so all external noises can be easily heard.
The reception people could be more friendly (smiling and saying ”hello” to customers when an eye contact is happening).
I haven't yet tried the breakfast.

Quiet, residential location in Monte Estoril. 30 mins walk to Cascais - downhill. Taxi back was €5-7. 15 mins to Monte Estoril station - downhill 40 minute train into Lisbon. We used Bolt to get to Sintra, Belem, Benfica stadium and Cascais shopping centre - all under €20 for 3 of us. Supermarket - 10 minute walk away. Let us check in earlier than expected. Secure left luggage room. Great reception staff - really helpful - fluent in English Room was a great size - Tv, microwave, oven and 2 ring hob. Bath with shower. Lovely shaded Balcony overlooking pool Clean, fresh towels every day. Cleaning staff were so nice, efficient and friendly. Breakfast was the same every day, but a good, fresh selection. My son loved the apple pastries! Could take a coffee to go. Pool towels provided by reception at no extra cost. Pool area was clean, could do with a few more sun loungers, although it wasn’t difficult to get one, but they could fit some more in. pool bar with drinks, cocktails and coffees. Staff here were also great! Overall, we had a great stay here, and would love to return!

PPengguna TetamuLovely spacious room with balcony overlooking the marina! The bathroom was a little outdated with no walk-in shower but only a minor point. This is a very large hotel which is part of the renovated 16th century Citadel and can only be accessed by car through the gates and across the square. Unloading of the car can be done outside and the car then parked in an underground secure car park close by. The hotel cannot be accessed from the car park. However, the help given with luggage by the porter was very much appreciated and delivered to the room. This was reversed when we left with the porter again taking all our luggage from the room to the car parked in front. Reception staff were professional. Servicing the room was quite late but when asked the housekeeping staff did there best to clean the room when we returned in the afternoon - they have a lot of rooms to service! Breakfast was lovely on the roof with great views - we were lucky with weather and we were able to sit outside with our dog every morning! Choices were good, and hot food can be ordered; the staff were cheerful and helpful! We used both pools during our stay and the indoor was small but lovely and the outdoor roof top pool was also OK with loungers. The walk to the outdoor pool was lengthy....the walk anywhere inside the hotel can be long depending on where you are located and you can easily lose your way.......however, we found a quick way to the outside opposite the lovely marina with some very good shops and restaurants! The hotel was also a reasonable 15 minutes walk into the lovely town of Cascais with lots of places to eat and drink and shopping!

JJWBaytonGreat hotel, mix of old and new. The staff are all really friendly, hotel spotless and pool area lovely with a chilled out vibe. The pool bar is open during the day and offers food and drink. Breakfast is just what you need with various hot n cold options including gluten free bread if needed. The room we stayed in was in the oldee section, plenty of space and clean too. Hotel is well located in Estoril and would definitely recommend.
