Hotel Pantai di Split

My wife and I stayed in the Park Hotel for a week as part of the Sunway group tours which is led by Frank Mackin. I have to rate this Hotel very highly and one of the best we have stayed in during our extensive travels over Europe. The Staff were very friendly and efficient and a nice young man in reception helped me sort out a problem with my iPad which I greatly appreciated. Nothing was to much trouble and you only had to ask for advice. While the weather was bad and during our day trips they gave us umbrellas which we returned back to them after our outings. The room was exceptional with a sea view and the lifts were very fast going up and down and we stayed in the forth floor in room 401 which was large with walk in shower facility also. Very comfortable bedroom all round. The food was a buffet choice and a great selection of choice which was replenished quickly. Despite the bad weather we were very pleased with out stay and would highly recommend this outstanding Hotel and the area around it has a lovely walks with lots of restaurants and souvenir shops along the sea shore. My compliments to the Management and Staff who made our stay most welcome.

One is OLD (RHS of the lobby and run numbers below 999.) The other is NEW rooms 1100 up. The old rooms are very small, tired and look out in a derelict car park covered with graffiti. Very disappointing. We stayed in the new block (premium rooms) which is delightful and 5 star in look, feel, Aircon, view and all. Pay the extra!! The buffet restaurant is ok, choice a bit limited for dinner and not much fresh fish or seafood as you might expect from a Hilton resort or Riu palace hotel. If you book your meals up front you will get a much better price and at this point they are competitive. Given that there isn't much around the hotel restaurant wise, I'd eat there again. Evening entertainment at 8pm each evening is a chilled out duo that changes. Sometime very good, never bad. Beach... Sadly the private loungers are used by the public at a cost of euro 35 perday each. These are free to hotel guests but all full by 10.30 in high season (by many euro 35 pubic). Seems a bit money grabbing that they don't keep them for guests in this 400 to 500 euro a high-season night establishment. Beach is stony, take swimming shoes. If you want to stay in it near Split this a a very nice hotel, probably the best, but split isn't anything special and we stayed to use the ferries. About euro 6 Uber away. And the elephant in the room... It's an expensive city and hotel.

+Hotel has really nice location in split and room was clean and nice. We did not take breakfast so I cannot comment it. - I reserved parking, but they forgot about it so I eed to pay higher tariff - Payment was only possible in Cash, which I found extremely unfriendly - Hotel does not have a baggage room and as we run a half marathon and we need to leave our suitcases, the additional fee for room was charged per hour. I haven't found this customer friendly and honestly I would have difficulties to recommend this hotel despite nice rooms.

We had a lovely four-night stay at this hotel, tucked away in the Diocletian Palace. All the staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful. The included breakfast was very good indeed. The bed was the most comfortable hotel bed we’ve had anywhere, and we’ve tried a fair few! We would not hesitate to recommend this hotel and hopefully we’ll be back!

The apartment building is in the old town just opposite the Silver Gate and harbors different owners. La Porta is on the 4th floor (no Lift), 78 steps up. Parking is not that easy, but the extremely friendly and helpful Tony waited for us at a nearby parking area (15 euros per day) and brought us up to the apartment in a little electric vehicle. The room is nicely decorated, new and modern. There is a fridge and a water cooker. Two separate beds and a table. It is very quiet.

Really pleased with our choice of Peric Apts. Got shuttle bus from airport to town then 15 min walk to apartment (fom bus station rather than 40 euro taxi for 2km journey. Met by Josip who is a real star, so friendly ( the cold beer was much appreciated and as it was a public holiday he gave us a carton of milk !). Also v informative re best swimming areas , view point of the town etc. Apt v nice and had all we needed for the price. Town an easy 10 min walk away. I would say Split in August is v hot and vv busy but if you like that ... We would def come back (end of Sept next time).

Bilik yang sangat bagus dan besar, dengan pemandangan indah di dataran tengah. kakitangan sangat baik dan bermanfaat. kerana hotel ini sangat kecil (tingkat atas bangunan - setiap tingkat mempunyai hotel yang berbeza), tidak ada restoran hotel. untuk sarapan pagi, anda mendapat baucar untuk restoran ”bokeria” yang berdekatan, yang juga bagus. sarapannya enak, terutama telur rebus Dalmatian. lokasi hotel tidak mungkin lebih baik - betul-betul di pusat bandar lama, semua pemandangan hanya 5 minit berjalan kaki. hotel ini berada di zon pejalan kaki, tetapi jika anda melakukan perjalanan dengan barang berat, mereka boleh mengatur untuk membawa anda sangat dekat dengan hotel (dengan kereta golf). walaupun terletak di pusat, jika tingkap ditutup, anda tidak akan mendengar bunyi bising. Saya sangat dapat mengesyorkan harta tanah ini kepada sesiapa sahaja yang berminat untuk mengunjungi bandar lama Split. Saya harap dapat kembali suatu hari nanti.

Staff here were very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are well finished and comfortable to a high star standard. The area is fairly close to the centre of Split and although you can hear the highway from the room, we had a comfortable sleep. The air conditioning was good and the showers hot. The housekeeping staff were very nice and gave me extra coffee. They came to turn down the rooms daily and took time to have a chat with us. We spent 7 nights there and it was a good base for our sight seeing. Continental breakfast was included as a buffet style which was ample to start the day with juice, cereal, coffee, breads, cheese, meats, yoghurts, pastries etc. It was a good selection. Thankyou to the staff there!
