If you're looking for the perfect spot in Old Town Split, this place is it! The apartment is enveloped around the remains of the ancient Diocletian Palace and the view of the church outside the window is a glorious sight to see. Just before tucking ourselves in bed, there was live music and drinks at the peristil square to enjoy, literally a hop, skip and a jump away. We had a plethora of cafes, restaurants and bars to choose from all within walking distance. And a promenade along the Riva is a few minutes away For ice cream lovers - there's a bonus. Right next to the apartment is an ice cream vendor and you can have a ricotta and fig ice cream treat or any other flavor that suits your palette. The common area of the kitchenette provided great coffee, tea and any cutleries that we needed. The room is very clean with a comfy bed and pristine bathroom and toilet facilities. Just a note that the apartment doesn't have an elevator so just be prepared to carry luggage up the stairs. I hope I get to stay here again when I come back!

Between an incredible location within the walls of Diocletian's Palace and warm, welcoming staff, this was an unforgettable experience. You are literally steps away from the Palace and the Cathedral, so walking the Old Town was easy and a pleasure.

We had two rooms in early June and they were nice, though some maintenance issues (broken doorknob, broken electric outlet, broken common-area refrigerator). We were the only guests. A/C worked well and wifi was good. The stairs are steep, nothing new for an Old-Town apartment in Croatia. The views are nice; we realized when we visited the terrace of the Vestibule that the views there are equivalent. The owner operates this apartment (probably from Zagreb or elsewhere) entirely remotely. You call from the entrance and he tells you to pick up the key from the ice cream stand right there (convenient). The passport photos will have to be sent via text or email, but his phone maybe doesn't accept out of country numbers or emails??due to cost so then he has to harass you the next day when you are on the road elsewhere. We never met him. He also charged 10E per room for a 2 hour late checkout, so beware. We wouldn't stay here again.

Tony was a brilliant host. He was so easy to communicate with through phone or Whatsapp. He allowed us to keep our bags in the flat after check out as we had a late flight & could explore more of the city. The location of the apartment is absolutely superb!! Right in the centre of the Palace. The apartment is located in a pedestrian only zone so you do have to walk with your luggage through the cobblestone streets but the apartment is very easy to find. Everything worth seeing was within 5/10 min walking distance. Even when we ventured further we didn’t mind the walk through the stunning area. The bells from the bell tower do ring at 7am each morning so it can be an early start - the streets below can be busy & there is music playing from the square below until around midnight each night but we didn’t mind it was lovely. The room had wifi & great air conditioning. There was a small fridge that we could make use of. There was a TV but we didn’t use it much. There was stairs to each level that were lit by automatic lights from moving around. The stairs were not difficult to climb. On the third floor there was a small kitchenette that you could use for water/tea/coffee etc. Overall amazing accommodation!! Couldn’t recommend this place more!! When we return to Split we will definitely be booking PLR again!!

L appartement est idéalement placé, en plein coeur du centre historique de Split; L'accueil de Tony a été très chaleureux et professionnel; Il ne s'est pas contenté de nous remettre les clés, il a pris le temps de nous parler de sa ville, sa gastronomie, la cathédrale face à laquelle est placé le studio; bref malgré un rapport qualité/prix un peu excessif à mon goût (mais Split au mois d'Août est une destination très demandée), nous avons été ravis de notre choix
