Hotel berhampiran D.M.O. Di Di Michele O. & Co Sas, Spoltore

Ho trovato per caso questo B&B cercando su Google, incuriosita dalle ottime recensioni e dalle camere ho contattato Tony. Ho trovato subito, durante la chiamata, una persona deliziosa, gentilissima e cortese che ci ha ospitato nella sua struttura. Per noi è stato l’appoggio per una sola notte (come tappa di rientro dalla vacanze) ma se fossi stata prima a conoscenza del posto non avrei avuto dubbi sul risceglierlo. Tony ci ha aspettati e accolti nonostante fosse ora di cena, e anche durante il tragitto per Pescara è stato molto carino nel chiederci come stesse andando il viaggio. Camera super pulita, arredata in maniera impeccabile, con tutti i confort del caso (per dire, in camera c’era una ciotolina con delle caramelle). Lo spazio colazione ricco di tantissimi cibi dolci e salati (insieme a macchinetta del caffè e a utensili vari) è sempre accessibile durante il giorno. Tony ci ha anche fornito indicazioni su dove andare a cena, dove parcheggiare ecc… insomma un’host impeccabile. È stato davvero un piacere soggiornare qui! Grazie!

Sono stata 3 notti in questo hotel con la mia famiglia ed è stato tutti perfetto! Pulizia,colazione ottima e camera spaziosa! Piscina bellissima e il ragazzo che controlla gentilissimo ci ha fornito materassini,braccioli,ecc. Se proprio devo trovare una pecca non ci sono balconi o fili alle finestre per far asciugare costumi e asciugamani ma a parte questo lo consiglio!

We booked this hotel for 9 nights, from August 18, 2023 to August 27, 2023. In the first night an extremely noisy event (which we understood from the Reception when we complained is a DAILY event between 20:00-24:00) from the nearby hotel. No one from the hotel warned us about this. Also, this was not mentioned in the description of the hotel on the website. When we talked about this at the reception, they did not offer any solution. They knew about this problem. They said that they will try to give us another room in a few days, but an worse room that the one we paid for. We checked out the next day. The other negative aspects which are misleading in the description are: Wifi is very poor, room is too small for queen size bed (the balcony door hit the bed, bedside table furniture missing on the balcony side of the bed, balcony without privacy separators, fish smell on staircase at the day of our arrival very scarce breakfast (the day at our checkout and departure). During the breakfast, waiting in line for somebody to slice cheese and ham, waiting in line for somebody to prepare eggs. (Nobody there for the 20 minutes we took breakfast). It seems that Sea Lion Hotel retained the Covid 19 restrictions which benefit their side and limit tourists services, fitness and Spa are out of work, but they marketed it as they offer these sevices. This hotel is a 3 hotel at best, not as it is listed, as a 4 hotel with a rate of 190 euro/night!!! Of course, they don't want to reimburse the money. Struttura assolutamente non da 4 stelle, mi pare una beffa che sia classificata anche come supirior, magari poteva esserlo negli anni '70. Caratteristiche positive: fronte spiaggia, mare con fondale basso e, perlomeno durante il nostro soggiorno, pulito, quindi adatto ai bambini. Presenza di una piscina adiacente alla spiaggia, sempre adatta ai bambini, anzi direi quasi esclusivamente a loro, poichè abbastanza piccola di dimensioni. Preciso che queste caratteristiche sono presenti in diversi hotel della zona, dato che a Montesilvano tanti sono gli alberghi fronte spiaggia. Sala ristorante vista spiaggia, cibo in quantità abbondante e di media qualità con personale disponibile e gentile. Pulizia generale discreta. Caratteristiche negative: struttura obsoleta da ristrutturare, stanze con arredamento demodè. La stanza a noi assegnata, tripla uso quadrupla, era molto striminzita, il letto a castello presente aveva la sbarra del letto in alto che cascava ad ogni minima sollecitazione, pertanto pericolante e pericoloso, e nonostante la nostra segnalazione il problema nn è stato risolto. Il balcone angusto e con diverse scrostature delle pareti. Il bagno, perlomeno nella nostra stanza, era decente, quindi probabilmente ristrutturato. Animazione da rianimazione...composta da due ragazze, in erba, alle prese con il mini club e una capo animatrice purtroppo assolutamente non in grado di animare, pertanto intrattenimento nn all'altezza, tanto che sarebbe stato meglio non ci fosse. Parcheggio all'aperto a pagamento di 10 euro al giorno soggetto a prenotazione, poiché posti auto non sufficienti al numero di stanze, per fortuna all'esterno di parcheggio sicuro se ne trova anche ad agosto, quindi si può evitare questo obolo. Il personale dipendente è gentile, salvo il signore addetto al bar della spiaggia, mi pare si chiami Piero, abbastanza scocciato e poco cortese con i bambini, a differenza delle altre ragazze addette al bar e del bagnino sempre disponibili e sorridenti. Scarsa accoglienza e scortesia da parte di chi ci ha accolti all'arrivo, che poi abbiamo scoperto essere uno dei direttori della struttura, che non ci ha nemmeno detto come fare per scaricare i bagagli e da dove entrare. Altra scortesia riservataci dalla direzione è stata per il pranzo di Ferragosto, unico giorno durante il nostro soggiorno in cui il pranzo è stato servito a sedere e non a buffet, il nostro tavolo non era stato previsto e arrangiato all'ultimo, a distanza dal resto della sala e in uno spazio di servizio non idoneo alla presenza di ospiti, a maggior ragione nel numero di 4. Altra sensazione sgradevole è che vi è un trattamento differenziale, anche a parità di trattamento pagato, tra clienti nuovi e abituali, i quali ultimi ricevono maggiori attenzioni, magari l'occhio di riguardo ci sta, ma se la sensazione è tangibile denota cattiva gestione e scarsa professionalità. We stayed a week here. Accessibility wise, it is only a short walk to the beach and restaurants BUT it is down and then up a very steep hill. Unless you like fish, most of the nearby restaurants will not suit you. Would recommend having a car due to these facts. There is a courtesy mini bus service to a beach which was at a cost of €25 euros per day inc umbrella, chairs etc. We ate dinner in the restaurant twice. The food was very good but is a limited menu. Portion size on the small size. We ate breakfast most mornings which at €5 is good value for money . Varied buffet breakfast with lovely local bread and cakes, fruit yoghurt etc, cold meat and cheeses and scrambled eggs. We booked 6 months in advance and were disappointed with the room allocated to us. We had booked a superior room and queried on the first night if that was what we were in. We were assured we were……but….. on further conversation the next day with very helpful check in desk staff, it became clear we were in one half of a family room. There was not much difference in amenity except the superior room was approx 8-10 m2 bigger…..so a huge difference. We were subsequently moved on night 3 of 7 so this aspect was disappointing and the photos on the website of various rooms are very misleading. We felt slightly cheated over this. There is also an issue with noise from other rooms which is audible for sure but did not cause us any significant issue. In terms of the rooms and public areas, the gardens and pool areas are very pleasant to spend time in. The restaurants for breakfast and dinner are ok too. The rooms and corridors are tired and do need refreshing in our view, especially the bathrooms which are showing signs of age with black mould in a lot of the grouting. Lastly, the staff throughout the hotel were outstanding in every respect. The service was exceptional…… friendly, informative, professional and efficient. 10/10. Had this not been the case we would have reviewed it at 3/5.
