Pico Dreams

Pico dreams really is a dream. The photos on websites do not convey the beauty of the place. We were in room 16, super new, clean and decorated with taste, it felt like staying in a 5 star resort surrounded by lush greenery. The owners are really sweet and ever ready to help. The place is in a very quiet and relaxing area but within walking distance from Piscinas naturais and a couple of very good restaurants. If it offered breakfast it would be even more amazing, but in any case this is not a problem as they provide beautiful shared kitchens and very near the place is a mini market. Thank you for this unforgettable stay, the best on the Azores so far!

Our experience staying at Pico Dreams was amazing. Goncalo, the owner was just an incredibly professional, courteous, and generous individual to work with starting from the beginning, picking us ap the airport and just being an incredibly gracious host. The accomodations at Pico Dreams were very comfortable with all the amenities and resources to make our stay in Pico a great experience and Goncalo was always available if we had any questions. The facility is very conveniently located in Pico and easy to access all the attractions and points of interest that this island has to offer. I highly recommend Pico Dreams for anyone visiting Pico Island.

Even though it was just for a night, we had a great stay with Isabella and Concalo. They are super kind and helpful and Concalo even took us to the ferry. The room is warm and doesn’t have airconditioning, but that is really the only negative. Would recommend staying here!!!

I made a reservation for Pico Dreams in March and paid few weeks before my arrival. The day of the check in (more precisely, 30 minutes before the check in) I received a notification from Booking saying that my reservation was canceled. The Owner of the place did not even have the decency to contact me by phone and explain the inconvenience (which would have been appreciated) and did not even help me find a solution (as did the guy from the car renting place). She simply told me to handle it directly with Booking (which proposed a horrible and even more expensive place). I am speechless and extremely disappointed. Thanks Pico Dreams for the “excellent” welcome to Pico!

+ The hosts (Gonçalo and Noémie) are really nice. Very helpful, kind, open-minded, accommodating ! + Possibility to visit several rooms before chosing the one we want. It's very rare to get this opportunity and it shows the transparency of the hosts. + Breakfast diversifed: ham, sausage, cheese, eggs, cereals, cakes, fruits, juices, tea, coffee, .... + The hosts can act as a taxi at a price that can't be beaten by regular taxi. This could save you a lot from regular taxi or from renting a car. This island is small enough to do everything by taxi, bus and by foot. + Free Wifi obviously - This may be seen as a detail but lighting in the parking lot is insuffisant especially at night. - Also this would be great to add a ventilation system in the rooms of the 3rd house to avoid fog in the bathroom and humidity in the bedroom.

The room and bathroom was comfy and clean and spacious. The available eating area and kitchen was also clean. Laundry is available on site. The pool was open, I just didn't use it. Not much close by but if you have a car there is no issue. Free parking on site. The hosts are very friendly and extremely helpful with any questions or assistance you may need.

Con un viaggio di gruppo siamo stati 4 notti in questa struttura dopo la metà di gosto e la consiglio vivamente. I gestori Gonzalo e Noemi sono stati molto gentili e accoglienti e per qualsiasi consiglio o suggerimento sono a completa disposizione. La struttura è immersa nella pace più assoluta, dispone di una piscina e un parcheggio interno. La camera non è grande ma i letti sono confortevoli. Ognuna ha una veranda o balconcino privato. C’è una cucina in comune dove poter lasciare bevande e cibo e inoltre c'è una veranda dove poter fare colazione in tranquillità e la nostra era con vista oceano. Altro servizio aggiuntivo è la possibililità di utilizzare la lavatrice nella sala lavanderia. Ricezione wifi ottima. La struttura dista 15 minuti a piedi dal centro del paese e dalle piscine naturali sull'Oceano. Consigliato per molti motivi ma soprattutto per chi vuole davvero godersi la natura e la pace più assoluta.

Sono stato per 4 notti in questo struttura verso la metà di Agosto e lo consiglio vivamente. I gestori Gonzalo e Noemi sono stati molto gentili e carini;per qualsiasi consiglio o suggerimento sono a completa disposizione. La struttura è immersa nella pace più assoluta; dispone di una piscina piuttosto grande e il parcheggio dell’auto è davanti alla propria camera. La camera è in stile etnico,non ha l’aria condizionata ma è una piccola bomboniera;il bagno è piuttosto spazioso con una doccia decisamente ampia,inoltre ha una veranda dove poter fare colazione in tranquillità. Non c’è l’aria condizionata ma un ventilatore che fa la sua degna figura. C’è una cucina in comune dove poter lasciare bevande e cibo e nel caso c’è la possibile utilizzare la lavatrice nella sala lavanderia. Ricezione wifi ottima. La struttura dista 15 minuti a piedi dal centro del paese e da un ottimo ristorante di carne;per il resto a parte il bar sulla strada non offre alternative. Lo consiglio soprattutto x chi vuole davvero godersi la natura e la pace più assoluta.

La realtà del posto è che propone 2 tipi di camere molto diverse. Le camere nella casa “vecchia” - dove abbiamo alloggiato noi - sono scarse : poco spazio per 3, poco pulite, arredamento vecchio e spartano, cucina e frigorifero condivisi. Poi ci sono degli appartamenti “nuovi” che sembrano moderni, con la loro cucina individuale ed un comfort molto più alto. In ogni caso, il titolare Goncalo è veramente molto simpatico e accogliente.
