Hotel berhampiran Olympic Monument of Malta, St. Paul's Bay

Hotel très propre, piscine extérieure très chaude. Buffet du soir très repetitif et pas terrible. C'est mieux de manger à la carte ou à l'extérieur. L'hapy hours n'est pas valable au buffet. Incroyable quand même. Sinon excellent rapport qualité prix et boissons peu chères.

An enjoyable weekend break at Solana. The place is well positioned in the center of Mellieha to explore the town, v. nice view from the rooftop (attached a pic) that they also highlight as instagram-worthy. I rated the location 4/5 because of the relatively minor difficulty to find close-by parking as you need to be careful due to limited hours, but I learnt after that the hotel offers limited parking spots against payment. Cleanliness and service both rated an excellent 5/5. The facilities were good, again they didn't merit a 5/5 only because of a couple of small issues: you can experience a relatively long wait for the 2 lifts (used by guests and staff) at peak times since the hotel consists of two connected buildings, the gym needs a spruce-up as the multi-use machine needs a good oiling and the treadmill's arm cushions easily came unstuck, and the rooftop pool water was slightly murky on Sat afternoon and Sun morning. Other than our studio apartment was a comfortable fit for a family of 4, that included a well-equipped kitchenette that we used on the second night when the kids fancied an evening in after a long day. And nice to see once again the old-school complimentary sewing needle and thread, as well as a good sized bathtub. Tea and coffee freebies were present in abundance in the room. Breakfast was delicious and they certainly got the bacon, sausages, eggs, pastry and yogurt right. All in all, a well-priced worthy consideration if you're staying in Mellieha.

The accommodation was great and the food was very tasty the only problem was the tv did not work and there was nobody available to fix it.

PROS: - The room was perfect with a wonderful sea view and private balcony. - The apartment boasts a fully-equipped kitchen where you can whip up delicious meals while enjoying the stunning sea views. - Take a refreshing dip in the light warm indoor pool or the outdoor pool nestled amidst a lush sea scenario, perfect for enjoying the mild May sunshine of 21 degrees Celsius. CONS: - The bathroom sounds like it's in serious need of a refresh! Here's a more vivid description of the issues: The bathtub: Imagine running your fingers across a chalkboard - that's what the bathtub feels like with all those scratches. It's definitely not inviting for a relaxing soak. The toilet seat: Ouch! A toilet seat that's the wrong size is not only uncomfortable, it can also be a tripping hazard. The shower: Fiddling with a wall-mounted shower control to get the perfect temperature is like wrestling a stubborn toddler - frustrating and time-consuming. The hairdryer: This hairdryer sounds like it has anger issues - constantly cutting out in the middle of your hairstyling routine. On a positive note, at least the shaving/makeup mirror is a bright spot! - Cleaning of room is done only after every 3 days

Hôtel 4* juste parfait très propre les couloirs et la chambre sentent super bon le personnel est très chaleureux très acceuillant vraiment parfait! Le seul petit bémol c’est que c’est un peut isolé mai c pas un inconvénient sachant qu’il y a un arrêt de bus à côté . De plus il y’a une grande piscine extérieur avec des palmiers des transats et c’est tout vue sur la mère très Instagramable.

Wonderful hotel/resort, friendly staff members always here to assist always smiling, making it a very positive place to be and to feel good vibes. 2 restaurants, delicious food, variety of food for every taste. The best thing is the AMAZING SEA VIEW 🌊 Mini bar drinks complimentary woohoo 😀

Starting with the information - we stayed at So City as a young couple (who arent particularly into nightclubs/bars) to see Matla for the first time over a week. I have given this a 'benefit-of-the-doubt' rating due to the hotel being incredibly new. We picked So City Hotel because of the value, it was incredibly well priced. I'd imagine this is a strategy due to it being so new but it was certainly well worth the price we paid. On to the hotel as a whole - I feel this is definitely aimed toward capturing people coming to Malta for some night life. Its positioned so that no more than 10 seconds from leaving the lobby, you can be in a bar, and their are some nice bars surrounding. That said, we werent there for that - but this location also meant that finding an evening meal, or a quick early night drink was incredibly easy. Exploring the island was also very easy from here, Valletta was a very short journey, and as we had opted to rent a car, there was a carpark about 5 minutes walk away (Pengardens) which is reasonably priced for over night parking, and we never struggled for a space. The room was very comfortable, and the mattress was perfect and bedding very soft and comfortable. Our upgraded room was also incredibly spacious. The theming is a nice touch and makes the room a bit more characterful and individual. Staying on the 7th floor, there was minimal noise at night, altough id be concerned if we needed to keep the window open.... The black out curtains were also amazing for keep the room dark for a little bit of extra sleep. Constructive criticism for the room would be: The shower tempurture is difficult - the hottest setting is insanely hot (my other half loves hot showers but this was too much for her also) and it wouldnt go cold, just cooler, it also seemed to get colder through out the shower and you found yourself adjusting. There is not a lot of storage at all for longer stays. This is perhaps a by product of it feeling aimed towards 'nightlifers' who might stop 3 nights or so. I would perhaps ask reception for additional hangers if you have plenty of clothes for a longer stay. The mini fridge, altough useful, is not big enough to put larger water bottles in, which can be annoying. The aircon unit is situated in a place which means it blows directly at the bed. I tried to play with the control but there was no way to adjust it that I could find. Im trying to cool the room, not refridgerate myself. The timer on the aircon also didnt seem to work, so setting it the blow for 30 mins whilst i went to sleep just didnt seem to work. The TV is not a full smartTV which is a shame. Just channels and an internet browser, which are never nice to navigate around.... On to other notes: Breakfast is just what you need. Its not an all out buffett where there is everything you could dream of, but there is more than enough and a few items cycle so you can expect a slightly different breakfast each morning. No Matter of the location, service, cleanliness or amenities, there are all good for travelers, even the lobby is convenient for customs to stay whatever for waiting for someone or plan their next steps because on display desks have a lot of useful tour guide brochures and leaflets, this is a very worth recommended hotel.

I stayed for several days at both the Victoria Hotel and also visit the connected by the rooftop their sister hotel, The Palace. You have to start with the fact that these are not 4* and 5* hotels. Perhaps they were when they opened 20 years ago, today it is a maximum of 3* and 3.5*. They are simply dated, you can see it and smell it. If we are aware of it, almost everything else is ok: very friendly service (special thanks to the nice, elderly man at the reception), tasty and varied breakfasts, cozy swimming pools and rooftop bar. The quality of cleaning the rooms needs improvement, the location of the rooms is cruicial (avoid rooms from the driveway for deliveries, unless you like to hear knocks and screams from 6am onwards). And the price: if you manage to find an offer up to 100e / day, that's ok, above that is not worth it.
