Our Mother’s day weekend was totally ruined! Don't bother with this place. It used to be just ok, but now?? Rundown, front desk people don't even know what rooms they have or their locations. We had stayed in this motel many times over the last 8 years. The place used to have regular employees that you knew by site and they remembered your name. Their website wasn't working on the day I was making the reservation and when I called directly to the motel, the front desk guy said he was super busy and that to go to reservations.com since their website wasn’t working and he had a bunch of people at the front desk and didn’t have time to help me. I was directed to a 3rd party ( Reservations.com) Which charged me $20 just to make a reservation, which I had no clue of until I checked my bank account! NEVER use Reservations.com!! I called directly to the hotel to verify the room I reserved for 2 nights, because the email I received from Reservations.com wasn't the correct one, the front desk guy assured me they would fix it. I needed the King, extra floor space room on the first the first floor as I'm handicapped and can't walk very far, so needed to be close to the lobby/front doors. I called again a couple days later to reassure myself that they had the reservation right. Well, no it wasn’t right, they had my reservation totally messed up! I was assured that I would now be put into a double Q L shaped room., (which has a little side bedroom with it's own Q and TV, etc. ) What happened to REGULAR EMPLOYEES???? When we arrived, the front desk people obviously didn't know their ass from a hole in the ground, couldn't figure out which room we were supposed to have, couldn't find the reservation in their system, couldn't find the room I reserved, neither the extra room King room I originally reserved, or the double Q L shaped room. I explained that the day I was trying to reserve the room that their own website was malfunctioning and I couldn’t make the reservation thru their own website. The brunette girl with the big fake eyelashes agreed and said management was aware of the problem. I again explained that I was handicapped and they had assured me the double Q L shaped room was available. I asked if the Sauna was now working and they assured me it was(for my husband). They said that my payment would be less than the original amount thru Reservations.com. My husband finally schlepps all our stuff to our room (couldn’t find a cart anywhere) and I follow up in the elevator and then realize I have to walk hundreds of feet down the hall to get to our room which was clear to the south end of the building. I have severe breathing issues and just about didn't make it. We get inside and realize it's just a regular 2 Q bedroom, no L shape, way far away from the elevator, the smell from the cleaning solvents just about gagged us both. We realized the heater was on, turned it way down, opened the window (it only opens a crack for safety purposes) the window

I stayed here on the off chance on a very stormy night. The gentleman on the front desk went out of his way to find me a good rate and researched my Hilton Honors membership as I knew I held one. The rooms were clean and comfortable and very modern. There was a bathtub in the bathroom and a hot tub on thet promises. Breakfast is provided and, whilst this is simple, it is quite adequate. This was. Really nice stay and the room was very comfortable and to a high standard. Internet access was good,

Hotel was clean and quiet, great breakfast. It is a straight shot down I-205 freeway to the hotel. Once I was off the freeway it was a little confusing to get to the hotel itself because of the route although the hotel was easily visible from the freeway. The room was quite small but fine for a solo traveler.

EErik’sWhat can you expect from Beltway 8 and 69 area? Not much. Stayed at least 20 hotels/motels around there and still couldn’t tell the difference between an inn or a big name hotel. Is this Holiday Inn cleaner, easier access, or better than others? Not really. But, it got the job done. Close enough to where I need to be, got a good night sleep, had a great meal at a Chinese seafood place 10 min north of it, and good wings at other side of 69. It was just good enough for me to rebook again.

PPengguna TetamuService Staff: Travelling with four children has its own unique challenges. For a start, we run through essentials like soap and tissue paper quite quickly. One test of hotel service is how quickly we are re-stocked - no questions asked. Residence Inn, Stafford passed this with flying colours. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Breakfast: The quality of breakfast is subjective. We enjoyed the variety. What is objective, is how quickly dishes are replenished when the food items run out. This is important for a family with lots to do, and too little time to do it all in. The kitchen staff was quick to replenish our favourite dishes. Management: Laura the hotel manager runs a tight ship and ensuresher colleagues resolve all issues as quickly and as amicably as possible. However what was unique about Laura is her ”open door” policy. A literal open door policy. Her office door was always open, which meant you could take up any issues with her directly or, in our case pop our heads in to say hello. Little things that make a big difference: A welcome smile by everyone no matter the time of the day. Iced treats for the kids (we came in during the Texas heatwave). And, Laura.

PPengguna TetamuI enjoyed my stay at this property - the room was clean, spacious and comfortable with everything I needed. I slept well and enjoyed the breakfast options - there was a very good range of items and it was tasty and filling. There were some initial issues with my room (I was given the wrong room type when I arrived) but this was eventually sorted out. Mistakes happen, but what's most important to me is that the staff take the necessary action to address them. The hotel has a homey feel that made me feel at home after a long journey. The cleaning staff were particularly friendly and helpful. The pool looked great - I wish I'd been able to try it out - maybe next time. I also really liked the quiet yet accessible location and the price point - I thought it was good value for money and would definitely stay here again.

PPengguna TetamuWarning! Do not book this hotel! I prepaid for a hotel room and arrived for check-in. I was required to put up a $50 deposit which would be refunded if we didn't smoke in our room. What? The nonsmoking room we were provided was filthy and reaked of cigarettes (I sensed a scam). The smoke alarm was even going off. Even the maintenance man who got the alarm to stop sounding said the room was in bad shape. The hotel had no other rooms available so we were forced to book another hotel. Luckily we were able to find something, but it wasn't easy. Here is the worst part, though. The owner refused to refund us for the room. The front desk girl was texgting back and forth with the owner for over an hour, but he refused. We contacted the hotel manager the next day who said he refunded us as soon as he arrived to work the following day. LIES! No refund was posted to our account. Of course we are challenging the charge on our cc and will file with the BBB! What they did is THEFT! This is a shady hotel with too great a risk. DO not do it.
