PPengguna TetamuThis is one of the nicer, quieter accommodations right at the end of the beachfront with a great view of the shore. It is a small boutique hotel with only 4 rooms. There is a tourist attraction right below it. In the evening, you can sit at the viewing deck to relax into the night.
The small crew of live-in staff are great. They helped us with a very challenging situation and were very quick to provide general assistance even up to very late at night. They were communicative on Wechat.
The only downside is that the hotel is some distance to the main area at the library building. There is a buggy which brings you there and back which the hotel staff arrange very quickly and enthusiastically. This is a small problem as the hotel staff are very quick to support but you must be aware to factor in an additional 10-15minutes travelling time to reach the library building to go elsewhere. Do also note that at the library building, cars cannot wait too long if you are planning travel activities.
The hotel also houses two cute cats as pets which are friendly to guests. There is a nearby cafe affiliated to the hotel which is nice to relax in and the coffee is fine. The beachfront shops are about 10-15 minutes walk away along the shore.
The toilet in the rooms have bidets. The rooms have good unobstructed views, which should be better compared to other hotels around them. In addition to usual complimentary water bottles, small snacks are provided in the rooms.
The hotel staff are excellent. They had a high energy level, were engaging and genuine in wanting to support hotel guests.

We had a wonderful experience at Herongzhuang Inn in Taxia. If you are looking for an authentic stay, this is the place to be! The inn itself is a beautiful, traditional Tulou, which made our visit feel truly special and immersive.
The location is absolutely stunning, surrounded by peaceful and picturesque scenery. It’s the perfect spot to relax and take in the local culture.
A special thank you to Alice, our hostess. She was incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay, making sure we had everything we needed. She also recommended a local restaurant to us, which turned out to be fantastic. The food was delicious and easily one of the highlights of our trip!
I highly recommend Herongzhuang Inn to anyone visiting Taxia. Thank you, Alice, for your wonderful hospitality!

The service staff’s attitude is truly amazing and helpful especially the front desk who is very accommodating to our requests, restaurant staffs were very attentive and friendly, great food, not so expensive and the room is very clean, nice & tidy. There is also a park area in front of the hotel. This place is overlooking Zhangzhou and the other side is Xiamen. During the night time, we stayed at the terrace, drink some wine while staring at the beautiful view. Unfortunately, we’ve missed the sunset as it’s too late when we come back to the hotel. We also wake up very early and watch the beautiful sunrise in the morning at the back of the hotel. Also, there are free drinks available in the room and we got sweet soup and fresh fruits available after we come back from our tour. This is a good place to stay, far away from hustle and bustle of the city. It's 4 km to the famous Ten Miles Blue Mountain and it’s overlooking from the hotel. The hotel even sent us to this place by their service van and offered to pick us up back to the hotel which is well appreciated. After we check out, we thought it's easy to get a Didi but ended the hotel offered their service van again to bring us down the mountain to get Didi easily. It’s better to have your own car for your own convenience travelling around this area. We can’t say enough good things about moonlight resort and will surely give them two thumbs up for their amazing service, it was all so great stay! Definitely this hotel is highly recommended, we booked 2 rooms Elegant & Privilege Queen Room it's worth the trip. We hope to come back again next time.

PPengguna Tanpa NamaThe room wasn’t what we expected - pictures looked better than in person but it was a comfy room. Bed and pillows were very comfy. Breakfast was simple but delicious. The room included water and heat which was needed in the winter. Everything was perfect except the bathrooms smelt bad like sewage occasionally. We think it was the drainage or the pipes so we had to keep the bathroom door closed. Some moulding in there as well and there was an area behind the toilet that just kept leaking so the bathroom was very wet all the time. There could also be improvement from the shower area - door doesn’t close properly so water when showering kept spraying out. The accommodation is inside the village so it was nice to walk around in the morning and see the village wake up. Overall, room was great but bathroom was not. We ate dinner onsite but it was a bit pricey. Food was tasty but texture wasn’t to our liking. Owner was very kind and reheated our breakfast when we came down late. Also gave us a bottle of homemade rice wine when we checked out.

SS-L-1The Hotel is located within the old town area of zhangzhou, a tourist destination. It is walking distance to a lot of key attractions and food options. Cleanliness was largely ok and it is apparent that a lot of effort had been put into maintaining the patio / rooftop area - with decorative tiles and teddy bears to take photos to your heart's content. The mattress was comfortable and the toilet was clean.

EExpatAfter leaving Pisces Island, campground, I headed an hour over to the volcano park and found this coffee hotel. It’s less than a kilometer away from the grocery store and maybe eight minutes from the volcano park.  The room has everything you need unless you need a bathrobe.  There is a restaurant and coffee shop.  The courtyard has room for the families to play badminton.  There is not an elevator, but you can get help if needed.  It’s a very organic neighborhood just off of the main road.  There’s a huge movie screen on the wall and some tatami seating.  Nice staff, comfortable bed.  Just stayed one night so to take in the sites of the ancient city. It’s 60 to 90 minutes to the ancient city.  it’s only 10 minutes from the surf shop. Great stay.
