Breakfast was a continental buffet with a variety of cheese, meats, bread, fruit, and cereals. A short walk from the hotel is a large selection of shops, cafes, bars, and restaurants.
This hotel offers excellent value for money along with an excellent location to explore Cherbourg.

SS.wanderThe room was beautifully decorated and had a lovely view overlooking the street—it really added to the charm of the stay. There’s a parking lot right next to the property, which made things super convenient. The surrounding area is a picturesque little town, perfect for a relaxing walk and sightseeing. Highly recommend this place for a peaceful and scenic getaway!

YYooyooooWe had a wonderful stay at this property! The room was incredibly comfortable and pleasantly cool, which was a huge relief given how hot the weather was in France. It was also very spacious, and having a fully equipped kitchen allowed the two of us to cook our own meals easily.
The location is excellent—there is free parking on-site, and it’s only take 15-minute drive to Mont Saint-Michel. It’s also very convenient for day trips, taking just over an hour to drive to Cancale and St. Malo, and there’s a convenience store only a 10-minute drive away.
On top of that, the beautiful swimming pool and peaceful surroundings made our stay even better. The self-check-in process was seamless and hassle-free, which we highly appreciated since we arrived quite late that day. Highly recommended!

DDrignoidThis place is in a really good location and easy to find. Travel light though as there are no lifts and narrow staircases to carry your luggage. As most old places in Europe there is no air conditioning, so be prepared. You needed to step over the bath to shower so take that into consideration too. Our room was clean and had a small refrigerator, bonus in Europe. The restaurant has a good menu and drink selection. English is spoken, if required. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

PPengguna TetamuIt was a pleasant stay. The receptionists were very polite and helpful and rooms were nice and clean. The location is perfect, there is free shuttle bus stop right in front of the hotel or you can walk to Mont Saint Michelle which takes about 30-40 minutes.

MMary the free spiritLove staying at La mere poulard. Love everything but the flies which I think it’s hard to get rid of due to the location. It was beautiful otherwise. Breakfast was yummy. Just go early like 8 or 9 am
And be grateful… make sure to greet the staff and say thank you. It’s the other way around in Europe just to have your manners. Learn Bonjour and merci … it will make a big difference!!!!

In the afternoon, the path is crowded by tourists visiting the Mont-St-Michel Abbey, which makes your walk to your room not so easy. However, since your hotel is on the island, you can enjoy the walk through Mont-St-Michel in the night or early morning, when there are almost no tourists.
