The hotel is situated in a quiet area but near with 711 stores. It is also at the heart of BKK so if you’re a solo traveler like me, you’ll be able to save ride fees as it is cheap if your itinerary is just around the city center. I also had to commend the receptionist of the hotel as she was very kind and helpful. She was there when I needed help and answered my queries kindly.
The hostel is cheap but kind enough to provide lockers for the guest’s important belongings. The hostel has a pool too!
I would definitely rebook the hostel, the next time I’ll travel BKK alone.

This hotel is quite good for the cheap price. It's clean, wifi is good, a little belcony and even a small gym I never tried. The location is ok but a fair walk to the train station. May need to use grab or walk 2.1km. The staff were ok but no early check in.

Good: - Place is really clean and neat - Staff are helpful and friendly - Room is cleaned down and vacuum on a daily basis including cleaning the toilet. All items are placed nicely in the room and easily found. - Room size is decent for the single King Size bed room i got at the time of my travel. - Response to my request are fast and staff are always polite. - Security guard is extremely helpful as well. - Although i didn’t look around the facilities offered, so i won’t comment on it. Lobby is really nice and comfy - Should we require assistance on tuktuk or Cab service or Airport transfer , staffs are able to help us get the price down (which are cheaper than the rate i saw from Klook). Things that can be improved - There is no warm or hot bath water - Non disposable slipper to be used in the room (Can be resolved easily by Krit Thai IMO) - No bath curtain to avoid water from splashing out of the bathtub during shower. (can be resolved easily for Krit Thai IMO)

There was a noticeable sewage smell, and when the room was serviced during our stay, it wasn’t cleaned thoroughly. For instance, the finished shampoo bottle was left behind and only a new one was added.

We stayed in the family room with 2 adults, 2 children for 2 nights, it was clean and had everything we needed but it wasn't anything special. Arriving late and walking down Khaoson Rd, we thought what on earth had we done but the family room was at the back of the hotel so was quiet. So, good location if you want the hustle and bustle but very loud at night out on Khaoson Rd. It didn't feel very safe, they had a sign saying 'leave your belongings in your room at your own risk'. And when we needed to leave out bags in the luggage room for a few hours, we felt uneasy as people were in and out all day. The reception staff were fine with us, the staff at the bar by the pool weren't very friendly though. The pool area is nice and they provide towels but it's only small so you're lucky if you get a bed. I was ok for 2 nights while we explored Bangkok but I probably wouldn't stay again.

YYO.LStayed at Sam E Hotel for a 3D2N vacation. The hotel, which opened its doors in September/October 2023, was still undergoing some work on the rooftop bar.
The service experience was exceptional throughout the stay. Upon arrival, the security guided guests to the hotel lobby on Level 2. A welcome drink was promptly served while the check-in process was underway. Surprisingly, the room was ready in less than 10 minutes, possibly due to the hotel's newness and lower occupancy.
Before heading to the room, I had the pleasure of meeting Fon, the service manager, a genuinely friendly and hospitable lady. She shared insights about the hotel, including details about its founder, Mr. Sam E, whose name graces the establishment. As a hobby collector of mineral stones, the 1st level of the hotel also has a jewellery store showcasing some of Mr. Sam E’s collections economically priced.
I booked the King Comfort room, spanning 28m², equipped with a King-sized bed, a separate toilet and bath with a rain shower, and complimentary mineral waters, cokes, teabags,a local tidbit snack (which, unfortunately, I forgot to bring back 😭) and free WiFi. The highlight was undoubtedly the spacious and comfortable king-size bed at 2.1m wide.
The hotel's central location ensures a convenient stay. A 7/11 below the hotel offers delicious microwavables, which Thailand is known for. The BTS Surasak station is a mere 1-minute walk away, providing easy access to various attractions, including one stop from Saphan Taksin station where you pay a 10-baht boat ride to the famous Icon Siam.
However, there are a few noteworthy points. The hotel lacks international power sources but provides a universal adapter, which may still be insufficient for some devices. Additionally, the provided clock, functioning as a wireless charger for phones with wireless charging capability, might be challenging to share among multiple guests.
In conclusion, I would definitely return to Sam E Hotel when visiting Bangkok, primarily for its outstanding service and excellent geographical location.
*One more tip: Opt for public transport like BTS due to Bangkok's notorious traffic congestion. As the hotel is relatively new, it may not be available on private hire apps like Grab. Be prepared to guide the driver using Google Maps to avoid any confusion. 😉

RRungkamolI have requested a corner room with my booking on 25 Oct 2024 whereby the corner room was the same price as a regular room. However, when I arrived at hotel on 29 Nov 2024, the corner required ab additional THB 300/night. Why was I not informed by hotel before then??? So, I just checked into a regular room. Bad feelings.

Jika anda ingin bawa pulang dari gerai sarapan lain yang berdekatan, wanita kopi akan memberikan anda semangkuk untuk dibawa keluar. Untuk makan malam, anda boleh berjalan ke sungai, melihat matahari terbenam di Wat Arun, dan merasai makanan Thai yang lazat.
Jika anda mencari tempat yang sibuk dan bising, hotel ini pastinya tidak sesuai untuk anda. Jangan mengeluh apabila anda tiba.

IIcykeyArrived at Don Mueang Airport late at night. After crossing a footbridge, I took a motorbike to my hotel. The room was spacious and clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was both healthy and delicious. There’s an airport drop-off service available at reception, but it’s best to book early to ensure availability. Overall, it was a great value for money, and I would definitely stay here again on my next visit.

MMissus DThe rooms were spacious and spotless, with great décor and crisp bed sheets. The breakfast buffet was Non Halal, so we skipped. The staffs were attentive and went out of their way to ensure that we were comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble.
The BKK traffic is a nightmare. Hotel was quite a distance from popular shopping spots but the BTS train ride is a good mode of transport. We LOVE how they have a lot of switch to charge your mobile. Toilet come with towels, toothbrush, hairdryer, hand/bath soaps and shampoo. We booked Grand Deluxe and it comes with a Balcony.
And, a lot of great lighting too! A small gym and pool.
Overall rating, 9/10. Please consider HALAL food too.

PPengguna Tetamu Firstly.. when we checked in a 8pm, they gave us the correct Family suite room (which looked really nice with a pool and air hockey table in the pictures) but it was totally not cleaned up with dirty towels everywhere, bedsheets messed up and looks more like someone had burgled the place. I understand that could be an occasional screw up but still it was hard to accept. However they were kind enough (which they shd) to put us in the bigger room beside which is a 3 bedder, also with the pool and air hockey table. Strangely, we had to wait for more than 5min for the electricity to turn on AFTER putting in the keycard. We were informed Abt that, just that it feels weird. When the lights were finally on, it does look great and it's a 2 levels room which my daughter loved. Unfortunately the air hockey was faulty and couldn't be used. Their sofa bed in the living room was definitely faulty and it's hard to sit on it. They really gotta replace that one. There was some damage on the flooring and it can be a little dangerous for young kids to step on. The bathtub and shower room water pressure were really low and there's hardly any hot water...maybe at most it's warm. For one of the bathroom, the water turned cold suddenly as well. On the positive side, it's a really great place for a group of friends or family to gather around. There's a large fridge and microwave which was useful, but they could have made it better with some basic cutleries or utensils and make it like a mini kitchenette. We were lucky to get the ONLY parking lot right in front of the hotel as well. Overall, the idea and concept is really great! But they MUST do some upgrades with the above mentioned issues and they will be one of my fave choice in the future. And I must mention this is in a quiet and dark alley, but its near to Metz hotel where I used to stay and there's a giant 7-11(the best in pratunam in my opinion) just 2min walk away Overall, 5.5/10. I will be back again to see if they will make it things better. Small road neat Metz With big 7-11 nearby

Hotel public area is on renovation but guest room is newly and very clean and comfortable. I love the food and staffs is very helpful and kind. Thank you Khun Panisara and Grace Hotel team for great service during my Test & Go stay. Surely recommend to other travelers who plan to visit Bangkok during this time
