A perfect lakeside retreat in the heart of the Finger Lakes. It’s uniquely located on the Seneca Lake wine trail halfway between Geneva and Watkins Glen, less than 10 miles from Keuka Lake. Whether you’re visiting the area to get out and enjoy its scenic beauty or relaxing by the tranquil water, this hidden gem affords you access to it all. Begin your escape as you drive along the gravel path that leads to a beautiful log home tucked beneath a canopy of trees with Seneca Lake peeking through. There is ample parking with room for yard games along the west side of the home, and the main entrance lies to the south. The smell of cedar will greet you as you walk into the open floor plan of Secluded Bliss Lodge. The kitchen spans one end of the home, providing ample counter space alongside new appliances for the family chef. Both the dining and living spaces flow directly off the kitchen and offer comfortable seating, views of the surrounding woods, antique adornments and an ornamental wood stove to enhance the lodge’s rustic charm. Double doors off the living area open to a fully furnished, screened in front porch; a tranquil space with a peaceful view to enjoy your morning coffee. For your convenience there is a full bathroom with shower and tub on the main floor, as well as a first floor bedroom complete with a queen bed. Go up the set of stairs off the living room and you’ll find a vaulted loft with additional sleeping space. There is a bedroom at each end of the upper level, one with a queen bed and half bath, the other with a queen bed and futon. Handmade quilts and comfy pillows on all the beds guarantee you will sleep “like a log”. Have fun in the lower level rec room housing air hockey and Ping-Pong tables, puzzles, games and a small tv. From here, open the door to an outdoor space complete with a grill, fire pit and steps that lead to 20’ of lakefront, a dock and boat hoist.
