Wonderful location! A straight walk from Hakata Station (or you can take one stop on the subway). The hotel is right outside the subway station. Very short walk to Canal City too. A 24h pharmacy nearby with an AEON mart at the basement. There's good food around too. Really great location but if you stay the STAY ROOM type, please note that you will be facing a huge cemetery 🥲. It's mostly hidden by trees but you absolutely can see it. The hotel is right infront of the cemetery. Other room types won't get that view thankfully. There's a free to use public bath, free ice pops, and free to use microwave. Washing machine outside is paid per use. You can see the status from your room. STAY ROOM washing is free with detergent provided 👍 Service was great initially. Check in team aided with my requests. However, checkout team was not the best. I arrived at the counter, confused and in a rush but the team in the morning all stood behind the counter, leaning their backs to the wall. I utter a word of question and nobody came forward to help. I tried to figure it out myself, by slotting in the card, then finally someone came forward, no talk no acknowledgement, tapped some stuff - all in japanese - and then nothing. I was confused, then one of the English speaking stuff said ”all done”... I was very unimpressed with this service. Especially with the sight of all of them leaning against the wall when I obviously needed help. Really a downer to a good stay.

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The location is excellent, the front desk staff were friendly and welcoming, and the price was very reasonable. I would definitely stay here again. The only suggestion I have is regarding the housekeeping service. One morning, I greeted a housekeeping staff member with “Good morning,” but received no response, even after I said it a second time. It may have been a misunderstanding, but it felt a little disappointing, especially since Japanese hospitality is usually so warm. Also, during my three-night stay, the room was not tidied at all. Towels, amenities, and sleepwear were replaced every day, but the room itself was never made up. Even a light tidying would make guests feel much more comfortable and welcome, especially for longer stays. Everything else about the hotel was excellent, which is why this small area stood out to me. I hope this feedback is helpful, and I look forward to staying here again in the future.

The room is very spacious for a solo traveller. It’s conveniently located with lots of great restaurants nearby. The Canal city is just 8 minutes walk away, and within 15 minutes you’ll be in Tenjin.

Hotel Dormy has a standard and this Premium location is just slightly higher which is a great budget friendly stay. They offer their standard free ramen, ice cream, yogurt and baths but also offer free soda and coffee. Check-in and out are smooth and easy with kiosk or the staff. The room are typical Japanese style small but they are clean and modern. The location of the hotel is right next to a metro station making it easy to access from the airport or train station. You are walking distance to Yatai's by the water and many tourist destinations as well as easily access all other more distant locations via the metro station outside the hotel door. The public baths are clean and offer an indoor and outdoor section as well as the design is more aesthetic than the typical generic baths of most Dormy's.

Location was super good 5 minute walk to Hakata station. There is bath tub in the hotel that u can enjoy the salt bath after a long day walk and sightseeing. The hotel provides three kinds that you can chose . Nearby also have Starbucks , convenience stores and late shopping for essential items till 11pm . MRT convenient to Tenjin and others nearby places to visit like shrine .

Room was cosy and had sufficient amenities! Staff was approachable as well. However, don’t think there’s much facilities at the hotel hehe which is fine. Room was clean overall, but we noticed when we requested for room cleaning, some of the spilt bath salt on the counter in the washroom was not cleaned up. But overall, great place to stay! About 15 mins walk away from the city centre, which is just about right after a full dinner 😋🌸

Good: Nice and spacious room, free parking good for us to drive around, powerful shower head which served strong stream and stable temperature for nice shower, big beds, convenient shops, food and big AEON store nearby with driving distance 5 mins, nice night lounge with free flow crafted beer, popcorn, and bbq marshmallow, my daughter requested to go every night But if you’re not coming with a car, it’s sorta inconvenient

We booked a twin room Chapter4 with 2 small double beds. The space is big which is good for us as we have 2 active toddlers and it was just nice for them to move around in the room. Bed size is just nice. We requested kids toiletries and the hotel provided kid's toilet seat and toothbrush. Buffet breakfast option available but we didn't try as ¥3500/adult is a bit pricey. We settled breakfast at konbini steps away from the hotel. There is a small Cafe just next to the hotel for caffeine fix, nice coffee at reasonable price. No coin laundry available, I have to drive 5mins to get one. Location wise,, it took us about 10mins walk from Hakata station and that means quieter environment. In short, I recommend it for family stay with kids as it offers bigger room space, reasonable price, quiet environment and near to Hakata station.

I chose this hotel because I was looking for accommodation close to the station, with a twin room suitable for 2 adults and 2 children, and the option for early check-in (with an additional fee). In terms of location, we really liked this hotel. It’s close enough to the station for children to walk comfortably without having to cross multiple roads. There is a 7-Eleven right next to the hotel, and a Starbucks within a short walking distance, which we visited every morning before heading out for the day. Directly across from the hotel is Yodobashi Camera, where you can find a GU store and a large supermarket. Although the hotel is near the station, we were a bit lazy to walk, so we used taxis via Uber almost every day. One great thing about Fukuoka is that places within the city are not far from each other, so taxi fares are quite reasonable. As for the room, the standard twin room was sufficient for two parents and two children, with enough space to place several pieces of luggage. The room was clean and acceptable. Soap and shampoo were provided in the bathroom, and additional amenities were available at the lobby. Regarding service, the male staff at the lobby had a good understanding of English and was able to answer our questions well. We also contacted the hotel via email regarding check-in and received a response.
