We recently used a spa break voucher that we recieved for a Christmas gift and it was a considerable value. We arrived at 1300 and couldn’t check in till 1500 which was absolutely fine, we relaxed in the bar which was really quiet and had a couple of drinks before check in, the bar was comfortable with a lovely view and the bar staff were kind and helpful. The wife had some light lunch which she thought was really nice. The room was spacious, clean and the bed was very comfortable We had a deep tissue massage and we couldn’t complain. The spa facilities in general were poor. The jacuzzi was cold and the swimming pool despite being told was heated was really cold, to be fair the reception had advised us of this. The steam room was the best feature but the Sauna was also of a poor standard. They had two beds around the pool so you had nowhere to relax and the jacuzzi even if warm would struggle to fit 2/3 people so really small. The dinner was first class, albeit on the expensive side but the staff were really hard working and helpful. Plenty of choice on the menu. Pros Staff Food Massage Room Cons. Hotel is dated General spa facilities not up to Standard you would expect. I would suggest hotel is good for a night away or travelling through Trossachs but I wouldn’t go for spa break again. That said staff make the hotel and nothing was an issue.

The stay was amazing and the staff were friendly. We arrived at the accommodation pretty late at night after the check in hours but the hotel staff were available and helped us with everything we needed.

Hotel was clean, very modern inside and staff helpful. Never had any food but the dining area looked very nice and good decor as did the bar area. The King room was fine for an adult couple on a short stay. Nothing spectacular but still clean and modern and I thought reasonable for the price. Would definitely stay again in future.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean, large and welcoming. The bed was comfy but the shower was terrible, low pressure and a constantly changing temperature that could become scalding without warning. It was the only downside as location, staff etc were excellent and I would return and recommend.

I was staying at this hotel as I was attending a conference that was in the venue (BABCP Scotland). I have to say that the accommodation was ace. My room was lovely (ground floor) and looked out onto grassland. Very quiet. Had everything I needed and was clean. Staff were very friendly and despite staying 5 nights (I stayed a couple of extra nights to allow for travel as I had flown up from Wales) - it felt like I had lived there for ages. I had breakfast every morning which was lovely. I also ate on the campus and went to see a film in the campus cinema. I would definitely book again if visiting Stirling. Thanks. Dr Sylvia Davies
