Hotel has a great atmosphere very friendly staff and the room is big and cosy bed. The breakfast is superb and plenty to choose from have booked another night there on my return back down from the Highlands.

Greeted and made very welcome on arrival. Speedy and efficient distribution of keys and directed to our rooms. Excellent food served very efficiently. Staff were courteous friendly and helpful, especially Danny. Service, food etc all excellent Thanks to the chef, waiting staff (especially Daniel) and bar staff. from 34 members from Ballymoney Evergreen Club, Northern Ireland

I came away for a few days break from Glasgow..the staff where really friendly and helpful..food was delicious and entertainment wonderful..I especially liked Angie such a friendly professional and made me laugh will be back with friends and family..lovely stay

What a brilliant place for a break, lovely food, lovely staff. Great riverside walk into Aberfoyle. Nice rooms and a great price. I don’t know how they do such nice food at that price. Portions are not big but there is enough with a 3 course meal to fill you up.

Hotel in rural setting surrounded by lovely countryside. Comfortable spacious double room for just me, excellent food with good variety of choices on evening menus. Efficient quick service in restaurant. Friendly atmosphere throughout hotel. Rob Roy path behind the hotel runs alongside a river to take you into village of Aberfoyle.

For the money we spent, we had a good stay! The room was clean and tidy, warm and spacious. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was lovely - good choice and all freshly cooked. Friends stayed a local, much more expensive and higher starred hotel but we definitely stayed in the better/nicer location here! Would recommend for a local stay!

Again another great stay at the Rob Roy, great value. We were there for Elvis tribute last April and now this year Tom Jones, great nights. Staff fantastic always smiling which makes a change from other places. Food good with choices. Fantastic value now booked for November Lionel Ritchie and Motown. We are looking forward to another great stay at this fun and happy hotel.

I bought my parents a stay here for their Christmas present. We decided to stay on Saturday for the Tom Jones tribute and I'm so glad we did! It was a brilliant night, the food was delicious and the entertainment was fabulous! Also the bar prices were reasonable for a hotel. All the staff worked hard and were very courteous. Breakfast in the morning was also delicious, all fresh food and tasty with plenty choice of food, tea, coffee and juices. The rooms are a bit dated but clean and spacious, let's be honest you only sleep in it anyway. Well equiped with hairdryer, iron, ironing board, hand wash, shower gel etc. All in all a great stay and my dad, who is in a wheelchair and doesn't get out very often, had the best time ever! We will definitely return for another tribute night as it's great value for money.

Attended the Tom Jones tribute night with friends. The reception staff were polite and friendly. Hotel rooms were a good size, spotless, beds comfy, hairdryer, kettle and ironing room. The food at the dinner was beautiful, great choice, good portions and piping warm. Waiting staff were all friendly and efficient. Tom Jones tribute was excellent, so much fun was had. Bar prices are reasonable for a hotel. The buffet breakfast was delicious, large choice of hot and cold food, cold drinks and hot drinks. We would all reccomend staying here and we will be back.
