Downtown Camper by Scandic

A pleasant stay at Downtown Camper by Scandic. The staff were quite good, especially the cleaning team who were always willing to offer help. The location is fantastic and being close to most attractions. Breakfast was rich and delicious which providing a great start to the day. The room was larger than expected and the bathroom was also quite nice. However, it was unusual that there was no door and it making the floor so wet. Overall, so far so good!

Nice breakfast, 5 star breakfast in my opinion. Good location, nice staff, able to early check in if room is ready. Room is clean and can request daily room cleaning. Daily events for guests and most are free (running team, boat touring, painting workshop or more)

We stayed at Downtown Camper by Scandic in Stockholm and overall had a mixed experience. The hotel is beautifully designed in a Scandinavian style, modern and stylish, and the property is very clean. Its downtown location is a major highlight — extremely convenient, with many shops, restaurants, and attractions within walking distance. Finding food or places to explore nearby is very easy. However, there are some downsides. The hotel does not provide in-room amenities, so guests need to bring their own toiletries. We stayed in a room for two, and it was very small, with barely enough space to move around or open luggage comfortably. The staff were not very friendly, which was a bit disappointing considering the hotel’s premium positioning. Breakfast was very good, offering a wide selection of Swedish-style dishes, but the menu was the same every day, which may feel repetitive for longer stays. a good solid choice for Downtown Stockholm. The amenities are a bit misleading, there is no parking attached and those right next to it are closed overnight. On the question "do you want extra breakfast?" i said i dont know, "will charge on effective use" - friendly non binding comment. Then on Checkout they tried to charge it even when never used breakfasts, only after a huge discussion they "waive it for friendlyness" something i never even wanted - quite cold and non considerate. So check if they try to overcharge you

Loved the style of this hotel! The room was very spacious and the view through the window was amazing!

Bathroom amenities could have been better. (A box of kleanex would have been nice.)
