Hotel berhampiran Eglise Catholique Saint Antoine, Strasbourg

From the moment you walk into the cool reception area and the staff are welcoming, professional and helpful, you can feel yourself rrreeellllllaaaax...aaah! The hotel is modern, everything worked, the A/C is quiet and effective (it was 31C outside during our stay), room was spotlessly clean, had a small fridge in the room (big bonus), WiFi fast and didn't keep dropping out/disconnecting....honestly, I couldn't fault this place, I totally loved this hotel. Additional bonus (I see others have posted photos) was a reasonably-priced option of using the underground car park - you get a 'concrete cell' all to yourself, more than adequate size of loading/unloading the car (and IIRC there are 3 EV Type 2 untethered EV charge points down there). The open-air car park looked to be adequate (and it's free). There are some restaurants nearby, but the biggest bonus is a short walk to the bus stop, a frequent, fast and cheap way to access Strasbourg centre. Breakfast could do some serious damage to your waistline, plenty of choice, staff kept the items replenished (the staff were, without exception, really, really good). A nice evening stroll is to do a circuit of the lake - bonus Did I say how much I liked this hotel? I think you would too....

We stayed here for one night. It's a very good hotel in a superb location - very close to the station and to the old town. The room was big, clean and comfortable. There was a decent breakfast, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We'd happily stay there again.

We never stayed in an Adagio before but if they are all like this….. We had no water in the room on the first afternoon and were not told when we checked in. The room was very small and had a smelly carpet. One of the lights in the bathroom was broken. My reading light was half loose from the wall. The bathroom was terrible, old and with stains. To park the car you need a code for the gate. When you arrive one person needs to go to reception to get this while the other needs to stay double parked outside on a very busy street. What a horrible system. Checking in took very long because the reception took a phone call the middle of it. Very rude. There is no cleaning, only after a stay if a week or more. There was only one roll of toilet paper. How does this work when you stay longer? The airconditioning only goes as low as 24 degrees and shuts off when you open a door or window. It does not go on automatically, you need to turn it on yourself. This was nowhere described in the room. The location is not too great either. 15 minutes walk to petit France and 30 minutes to the cathedral.

Sehr zentral, fussläufig zur Altstadt gelegen, Parkgebühr täglich z.Zt. 15€, Badezimmer ist extrem eng, Zimmer klein aber zweckmäßig eingerichtet, mir persönlich fehlte ein Wasserkocher, aufgrund Preis/Leistung würde ich das Hotel jederzeit wieder wählen.

We booked the Boma hotel for a short stay in Strasbourg due to its location, as it is right next to Petit France, within walking distance to everywhere in the oldtown, but also only a 8min walk to the train station. We never had to use any transports in the two days we stayed, the Cathedral and other landmarks were only a 10min walk. However, we were also pleased with what we found as the hotel was new, modern but with character. There was music in the halls and lift to set the atmosphere and the decor overall was urban modern but worked very well. The room was not very big but had everything we needed for a short stay: a very comfy bed with memory foam pillows, which granted us a fantastic sleep at night; small desk with a kettle and a variety of coffee/tea; the minibar had water and soft drinks (and were free); there was a large tv on the wall with some media contents (films and music) which were also free for us to use; a safe where we could store our passports, etc during our stay; the bathroom had a good size with a large shower and the amenities were surprisingly good (which sometimes is compromised in smaller hotels). Our room was facing a main street but the windows were double-glazed, so we barely could hear anything from the outside. In the lower ground floor there's a (large) luggage room with large lockers for the guests to use, self-service and free. Since we arrived at Strasbourg in the morning we used it, as check-in is only at 3pm; then used it again after checking out, for a few hours, to explore a bit more of the old town before we took the train to Paris. Breakfast was was fairly good. Mainly continental but there were also scrambled eggs and bacon. There is a supermarket 20 metres away from the hotel, which was quite convenient in case we needed to buy anything during our stay. There is also a french bakery / patisserie just across the road. A lot of other coffee shops, restaurants, shops, etc just nearby. The staff was friendly, provided all the information we needed for a great stay. Would definitely recommend this hotel to visit Strasbourg, as it's perfectly located and has everything that you'll need to explore the old town.

Overall: 6/10 Staff: 9/10 Price: 8/10 Location (to sights): 8/10 Transit: 8/10 Room: 6/10 Common Areas: 6/10 Restaurant/ Bar: 9/10 Vibe (community): n/a Really enjoyed my stay at other hostels from this company and this one should have been just as good but there’s some things i just can’t put aside… First off, the hostel is dirty. Not talking dirt in the bunks (thankfully) but for as new as it seems, the shared spaces are rough. Bathrooms look rough, half the soap and dryers don’t work (not a good thing for hygiene obviously), the showers were always covered in water and hot water, up for debate. Next, the place is loud. Not hostel, a few people are chatting loud and certainly not 8pm, like the room was basically in the bar and the bar was busy (see next item) till after 1. Sure, we could have closed the window to help a bit but with no other airflow in the room, it’s a choice between super loud and hot/stuffy. Loud won. Last off, during my stay, they were hosting an event which meant a ton of people hanging around. Now the event was for a great purpose and that’s awesome and everyone was friendly too but it still meant the bar was basically taken over by locals who knew each other and filled up the community spaces, instead of a traveler or even a general bar vibe. Not a thrilling thing to find out after checking in. All that said, staff was great, super friendly when I checked in and around the place. The bar / restaurant is well done with a nice range of options and decent prices though I didn’t find the breakfast worth the buffet cost. Like the other locations, rooms are nicely done, bunks have good curtains, power, lights, all the makings of a 10/10, but not.

There are a lot of good things one could say about this hotel but unfortunately too many not so good things Good: The whole atmosphere is one of a giant playroom laden with toys and games and happiness. The common areas are modern and airy and young. The reception staff are excellent and helpful and friendly Possibly the two very strong good points in this hotel are across the road - One is the light rail station and the other is McDonald's The bathroom - well equipped and everything works!! Bring conditioner - the shower liquid soap is very strong - good towels The hotel is spotlessly clean There's a great selection of games including table soccer, table shuffle board, darts, board games etc. Bad: Everything provided is the most basic level and in many cases simply does not work. There are two very small very slow elevators - one of them works There is a gym - exercise room. The treadmill is a basic home version which doesn't work. It allows you to warm up and then just cuts out. If left to rest for 10 minutes it gives you another 3 minutes of running. The stationary bicycle has all the lights but doesn't work. You can sit on it and pedal with no resistance - there are no resistance settings The rooms: Tiny! No place to move... No place for your luggage - The entire closet consists of a tiny 20cm wide hanging space which as the pole on the outside edge so that half your garment is hanging outside the 'closet'. No fridge in the room. Paper thin walls. When the tenant in the next-door room closes his door the whole wall, including your bed's backboard, jolts. There are two electric outlets for charging in the entire room. One on the far side of the bed next to the window and another on the shelf next to the TV. If you get the first bed expect to spend a lot of time walking around the cramped room if you have gadgets that need to be charged. Likewise the only switch which controls the main lights in the room are next to the other bed. There's a phone to call reception in the room but guess what ...? So if you need something from reception there's a communal phone at your disposal next to the elevator. Breakfast: Pathetic! There are two coffee machines, one works.....sort of. The coffee takes forever to fill a glass and then is undrinkable. If you really need a hot drink the hot chocolate is at least drinkable.Or you can buy a cup of real coffee in the lobby. If you need something at breakfast, you need to force your way into the kitchen - there's virtually no waiter or service in the dining room. There's also very little food. One morning they put out one!!! baguette! After multiple protests they brought out another. The lunch and dinner food was atrocious - many in our group went directly to McDonalds even though the dining room meals were paid for.

Отличное расположение с целью поездок на трамвае во Францию. Удобства по минимуму. В самом номере чисто, но в туалете имеется постоянный неприятный запах. За три ночи проживания уборки ни разу не было (!) Заселили ровно в 15.00, хотя номер был готов раньше. Завтраки без горячего (яйца в крутую), но голодным не останетесь. Завтрак должен подаваться с 6.30 как указано в информационном буклете, однако, в день выезда (30.05) все было закрыто до 7.30 и это был будний день. Имейте ввиду, что ресепшен работает не круглосуточно, как написано на сайте, по крайней мере в день выезда до 8.00 все было наглухо закрыто.

We spent Christmas there and the staff was very friendly, made us feel like home. Room were super clean and big enough for the price. I recommend and I’ll go back next time I visit the Christmas market.

There's a kind of old-fashioned glamour about this hotel, a lot of art deco features seemed to have been retained when it was renovated. Our room was very comfortable and the bathroom was very nice. With a little TLC it would have merited five out of five, but perhaps it's all scheduled for maintenance over the winter. Breakfast was good if somewhat unexciting, but that might be different during the summer when there are more guests staying. All in all a very good stay and great value for money.
