Quality Inn Downtown Stuart

My husband and I needed a quick place to stay for one night. Paid $190 to stay here and wow was that a bad decision. No elevator, place reeked of smoke with stains all over carpeting. We were still hoping to make the best of it but then when we got to our room, the very first thing we see is a cockroach on the bed. We immediately left and told the front desk to cancel our stay. She said the manager would call us that night. No one ever called and we had a battle to get a refund which we never got. This was the most disgusting place we’ve ever seen. Do NOT stay here!

Staff was polite and helpful. No elevator (just a heads up), you’ll carry luggage up the stairs. Hallway hot & carpet is filthy, smells musty of mildew. Room a/c was not on & it was very warm, humid and musty smelling. We immediately turned on the a/c, about 4 hours later it felt cool. Shower would not work. There were hair shavings on counter & sink. Afterthought, I will take pictures of my stays from now on. I was honestly grossed out at this point and wished I had brought sheets from home to put on the bed if this was an indicator of the cleanliness of the bedding. This hotel was $87 per night. They charged $30 for cancelling the next two nights. Altogether I was charged $120. My husband is no longer allowed to book our hotel stays.

If you are looking for quality for your $150 plus a night stay, then you should look elsewhere in Stuart. The location was right in town and close to everything but thats where the positives end. The room we stayed in needed major maintenance and updates. There was mold on ceilings, fixtures, phone, beds, holes in walls, rust on fixtures, roaches in bathroom and no security as far as access to the property. The breakfast was bare minimum and restaurant next door smelled of sewage backup. The "clientele " roaming up and down the halls all hours of the night and in the parking lot were cringeworthy. Won't be returning to this one!

I stayed on business. I didn't get checked in until almost 1am, then their staff began knocking my door down early in the morning - three times prior to checkout time. The first time, I woke up and answered the door and the staff member (who didn't speak English) left as soon as she realized that the room was occupied. The second time I was awakened the very same way (around 9am), I was going to try and sleep through it and skip answering the door. However, the persistent staff member (who barely spoke English) then had a fit because I finally got up and answered the door and apparently "I" frightened HER, even though she was the one imposing on my time and space. She actually ENTERED the room while I was getting out of bed to answer the door after hoping she would give up and just leave me alone. She then sent a manager up to my room to bother me again BEFORE checkout time. When I told the manager that this was the third time I had been rudely awakened after a very late check-in, she then refused to even give me a noon checkout. HORRIFIC stay - when I checked out (on time at 11am), I told the manager I was not happy with the multiple unnecessary disturbances that morning. Her response was simply, "Fine." What an awful way to treat a paying guest who was only minding his own business.

House keep never came to the room, and I asked for it. I had to go to the front desk to get towels. Phone in the room doesn't work, so if you need anything from the front desk you have to got there. PS this is a 2 floors, no elevators so if you have lot of luggage and you are on the 2nd floor you have to carry it up. The front desk lady Debby, was very nice, she is very good with the customers, I saw her helping lots of customer's complaining, 1 person about mold in his room, she when with the customer to a new room for him to make sure is was ok, she is very good.

This hotel needs a major refresh. The room was dated and worn. Our TV was at least 10 years old and had a grainy picture that came in and out our lampshades were cracked, bathroom fixtures old and worn. We appreciated the helpful and friendly staff. But overall, the hotel was a great disappointment. We won't be back..

Was up all night awake and alert because I’ve been killing bugs. Just when I started to chill out, one came crawling onto the BED. They look like tiny cockroaches. Sadly have to stay here another 3 nights.

This is our first time visiting Stuart and I really enjoyed staying at Quality Inn. The staff was wonderful and we enjoyed eating at the restaurant next to it. Water pressure was little low and breakfast was just the basic. We will back to stay.
