Two extraordinary individuals stuck out to my family and I - Sarina merz - front desk and Sophia Armandine - host. Thank you for the excellent Germany experience and warm hospitality daily. Would recommend this hotel to anyone!

Due to the pandemic we had to cancel other New Year's Eve plans and chose to stay a bit closer to home. This was an excellent choice! Unfortunately I can't attest to the salon, spa, or pool (all are off our to-do list until Germany's numbers are down), but everything else about this hotel was amazing. Everyone spoke excellent English, were very accommodating, and the restaurant requires a review all its' own (magnificent!!). If we had to find anything that didn't deserve a five-star rating, it would be the streaming service (lost Netflix connection frequently), however, everything else at this hotel made up for that. You couldn't ask for a better location; it's across the street from the Hauptbahnhof, and one block away from more shopping than you can do in a day! Every hotel in the world should offer an ”Olaf”! Olaf is the most outstanding of this hotel's very service-oriented staff; he is everywhere you need him to be right when you need him there!! If we owned a hotel chain, we would be trying to hire him away from the Graf Zeppelin - he's that good!! This hotel also has an elegant cigar bar. Although I'm not into cigars, it's so elegant that I did not mind accompanying my husband there. My husband's exact words were ”this place has the very best cigars I've ever tried, and an exquisite class of whiskey!” And thanks to Olaf, our preferred table was reserved in the restaurant and in the cigar bar every evening; We will definitely return to this hotel! Oh, I forgot to mention.......we've traveled a lot and have been in a lot of hotels; this was the first that offered a WALK-IN closet with ample storage storage! The two sinks in the bathroom, both a tub AND a shower were also a plus....comforts of home! (We were in a junior suite)

We did a pit stop here to take kids to Mercedes’ museum. It was not a big event weekend so the area was really dead. Hotel reception was friendly but only 1 person manning the desk so it always seemed busy with queues. Bathrooms are functional and clean but given 4 people were staying in the room, body wash and loo roll ran out as they don’t fully replenish items. I understand the whole green thing but at least put enough toiletries in there. Simple little things like this should not require us to have to chase and ask the staff for these. Especially for a Hilton brand. The other odd thing is the toilet has its own room at the hotel room entrance. That’s great, but there is no sink. You have to walk around the whole room to get to the bathroom to wash your hands. We also had dinner at the restaurant downstairs. It charges silly money for every item on your plate. Literally a single portion of salmon is 15 euros (maybe 150g) with nothing else on the plate. If you want a side, you have to pay for that. Same with the schnitzel. Every single item you add to your plate is an additional cost. Staff was fine but the pricing system was ludicrous. We stupidly followed the tripadvisor reviews for the restaurant and the place was pretty dead. We should have eaten at the sports bar outside which was outdoors and has more ambience for possibly the same level of food. Who knows. The only redeeming feature is we got some discount back from this restaurant because of our club member status. We only stayed here for one night so it was sufficient as a clean functional hotel.

Das Zimmer war klein, aber ausreichend und nett eingerichtet, Frühstück konnte dazugebucht werden, nichts Außergewöhnliches, aber für den Preis absolut okay. Es ist gut mit ÖPNV erreichbar, dazu gehört nun mal auch, dass es keine ruhige Lage ist (wobei die Fenster viel Lärm von draußen abfangen). Leider merkten wir am Abreisetag, dass der einzige Fahrstuhl für die Größe des Hotels doch etwas zu wenig ist- gleichzeitg Checkout und Wäsche-/ Putzwägen hat zu Wartezeiten geführt. Die Mitarbeitenden waren sehr nett.

Hotel und Zimmer nach gewohntem Motel One Stsndart. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das Personal. Es wurde spontan auf unsere Wünsche eingegangen, wir bekamen ein Zimmer mit Balkon und unser Junior (2) wurde wärmsten empfangen. Zum draußen Sitzen bekamen wir nach Anfrage auch extra Decken, An der Bar gibt es leckere Cocktails und Sandwiches, allerdings recht Preisintensiv. Parken kann man gegenüber im Parkaus für 3€ weniger :)

House keeping often doesn’t make the room. In several instances the room was not made upon my return in the late afternoon (I am usually gone for the day when k stay there) and that was after asking the reception housekeeping could come while I was gone. Their customer service needs to step up.

Very nice decorated place at the reception We have booked a Christmas special for a very good price and expected a small room, but when we opened the door, it was a big surprise: It was a spacious and well furnished room with a nice balcony in the upper floor. The Bath room was very big, too Beds were compfortable. The area is quiet. the only problem: the elevator did not work during the night Hours after 23:00 but no real problem, You can take the stairs. With the key you can go out and come back all night Parking in the area is for free only during the night. During day time, you have to pay for the parking ticket. But we managed to find free parking 3-4 streets further down. There is a vending machine In the Hotel so that you can purchase beverages for very fair prices Wifi worked well Staff in the evening was very friendly. Staff in the morning was adequate. For breakfast an additional payment and a new covid Test would have been required for an additional fee, therefore, we did not Eat there in the morning. We would book again Enjoy the stay!

L'hotel mi ha dato la sensazione di aver vissuto tempi gloriosi,come se un tempo fosse stato di una certa importanza,questo per dettagli di arredamento e di servizi nelle camere che un tempo dovevano offire un maggiore confort. Le dimensioni della camera sono ragguardevoli: camera davvero grande con salottino,scrivania e balcone con tavolo e sedie. Lo stile della camera e i suoi arredi rimandano ad altri tempi però ancora oggi son ben tenuti eccezione fatta per la moquette,consumata e macchiata sia dentro la camera che nel corridoio. Al bagno probabilmente è stata messa mano in tempi più recenti rispetto alla camera ma la realizzazione è avvenuta con materiali decisamente economici e si vede molto;in luogo della doccia era presente una vasca idromassaggio datata e non credo funzionante, tuttavia il bagno è stato funzionale a ciò che serviva;nota davvero negativa la mancanza dell'aspiratore. Top : parcheggio gratuito e fermata della metro di fronte all'hotel che porta in centro in 10 min. Per quanto concerne la colazione c'era di tutto e per tutti i gusti anche se la qualità non mi ha entusiasmato.

I had booked a room with double bed however I was allotted a room with single bed. I immediately contacted the front desk however they informed that all rooms are booked and cannot help. I expect that at the time of check-in I should have been informed regarding this. Also, the room was for physically challenged. I don’t intend to discriminate here however providing information is important because I paid 190Euros for the same. Did not expect this from IBIS. Also, someone from Hotel staff tried to access my room without prior information between 15:00 -15:10. I informed this as well to the front desk. The bathroom sink was cracked and it wasn’t clean enough. Very disappointed.

Wir besuchten das Rammstein Konzert auf der Cannstatter Wasen und dies ist das perfekte Hotel für Veranstaltungen dort. Zu Fuss ca. 10min. Check-in war sehr freundlich und unkompliziert. Das Auto konnten wir in der hoteleigenen Tiefgarage parkieren ( auf Grund der Veranstaltung gab es sonst weit und breit keine Parkplätze), das Zimmer war sehr sauber und selbst am Samstag Abend sehr ruhig, die Betten bequem. Leider können wir das Frühstück nicht bewerten, haben es zwar gebucht aber zwecks Ausschlafen (was durch das Late Checkout kein Problem war :.) leider verpasst. Wir können die teilweise negativen Bewertungen (ob da die Konkurrenz dahinterstecket?) überhaupt nicht nachvollziehen. Bad Cannstatt ist, soweit wir dies beurteilen können, nicht „Fancy Pants Schicki Micki“ Stuttgart, aber unglaublich authentisch und spannend zum erkunden.
