Hotel berhampiran White Rock Beach, Subic

I love this place and my kids are really enjoyed it! Overnight is not enough. We should have explore more and stayed 2-3days. -Place is great -Food is great -We have a fantastic room -The bar is great -Pool is great as if we have our own mini pool. -There is a wave pool and my kids love it. -There is also a playground with pool for the kids like they can slide, swing, more fun activity. -We enjoyed the beach as well, same as the inflatable, jetski, kayak, banana boat -There is an acoustic bar at night, fire dance, parang nasa Bora ka na.

The room house itself is aesthetic. The room is spacious and clean. The owner is very accomodating. Even though she's busy, she finds time to answer my questions and our queries. My mother asks her if she can decorate the dining area for my birthday and I loved it. The only downside was that there's no hot shower.

The price on trip.com is expensive compare to booking directly on the hotel.

This a warning for anyone intending to use their venue/ hotel for an event. I booked this place for my wedding. I even reserved multiple rooms for my guests. I placed a down payment to secure the event. Upon paying the down payment, it was communicated that the venue is ours. ONE MONTH before the wedding the staff notified us that the OWNER of the hotel is hosting a political event on the day of my wedding in the same area of the reception and ceremony. They gave us the option to either move the wedding to the atrocious rec room upstairs with no A/C. The room also did not have a view of the sea, mountains and will not be able to see the sunset. The other option was to move the wedding date or find another place. Take note, we already had the wedding plan in place and the whole layout and decoration planned. They have caused such a huge inconvenience for us. One month before the wedding we had to start from scratch again and find a new venue to hold my wedding. The owner did not even have the guts to communicate with us and had their middle man handle this. Just because he is the owner, he can do whatever he wants. We settled on a refund but did not even offer any compensations for our inconvenience. This is very poor customer service and not a good way to run a business. If you do choose this place, please be warned on how they run their business. I would not recommend this place even to my worst enemy.

I have eaten at dozens of locations throughout the Philippines. And sad to say, the majority fall short when it comes to the quality of food and service. We have dined at Treasure Island dozens of times for the past 6 months and on every occasion, we walked away very satisfied. I now find myself judging other establishments using Treasure Island as a benchmark. Not even the restaurant at my private golf course club house could hold a candle to Treasure Island. One of the crucial success factors is “on-site” owner management. The owner of TI devotes a significant portion of his time at the restaurant (and hotel). One of the worst stays I have ever experienced in a supposed resort. Firstly paid over ₱7000 for a room to fit 3 adults and a kid. The room was very tired, not very clean, tv did not work properly and very basic in amenities. Not worth with the price! The overall resort is very tired. It needs a major refurbishment. Paint is peeling, large cracks in the building, garden returning to jungle etc! Staff are not at all friendly or flexible. Arrrived with our family at 12pm after a long drive. Requested an early check in. Advised they are just cleaning the room now. I said that is great can you advise how long until will be ready. The reply you can not access it until 2pm at the earliest. Wow. Thanks. The free breakfast is average basic Filipino style breakfast food. It is a buffet format only 7am to 9am. Very limited hours for a supposed resort. Also requested if we could just take. plate to our room (literally a minute from where the food is served) to be told no not possible. The location is average. On a busy highway. Not sure where they get Waterfront for the name of the hotel as the only water close by is the run down pool with a run down bar. The bar has chairs that look like they have been recycled from a trash site. The bar staff did not know how to make basic cocktails and constantly referred to a 'menu' with the expected result being average overpriced drinks. The final and worst part of this once in a life experience was the check out process. We went to check out around 11.15am well before the noon requirement. After handing in the keys and and the deposit slip for the ₱1000 to be returned in full (we did not consume anything in the room) I just stood there for about 10 mins. I asked why the delay. Advised housekeeping was checking the room. Ok so I sat down. After another 20 mins chased them. Finally advised they would be keeping my deposit because of supposed stain on pillow case and sheet. We were invited to inspect the linen. First, the pillow case was like this whern we arrived! Second, the small dirt marks on the sheet were not stains at all and clearly would be cleaned in a standard wash.! After my wife argued the ridiculous of the accusation and the ridiculous of not getting a tiny bit of dirt out in a standard wash we were finally given our deposit in full. This I expect was a scam attempt to falsely pocket our deposit. The whole check out experience took over 45 mins and was embarrassing in that the false accusations were directed at us in front of other customers. If there is one resort/hotel to avoid this is it! If you are crazy enough to stay there now you now only have your self to blame!

Most likely the furthest away from all the beach resorts in the area, this property may not be in the heart of all the action, but it does provide the seclusion and privacy if that is more your speed. The property is a bit dated and at one point could have rivaled any exclusive resort in the area, and whoever originally designed it, had the right vision in mind. I think with a little investment, this property could once again shine like it’s beginning. The current staff are very friendly and accommodating. When they realize that we had elderly in our party that could not go up the second floor to our Executive Suite rooms, they suggested we stay in a first-floor villa at no additional charge. When we had to extend the next day due to unplanned events, they were more than accommodating. When we ordered food from the restaurant after arriving late afternoon, it was delivered to our villa including our order of ice-cold beer in a bucket of ice. When we requested an extra bed, since we had one additional person in our party, it was delivered without an issue. I think the concern that most reviewers had was probably that they were excepting more than what they paid for. Although we didn’t stay in the Executive Suite as originally planned, when I did a walkthrough, I would have been happy with room and maybe would have thought it as a bargain. I was satisfied staying in a villa instead because we were able to connect 2 rooms together, and it was accessible for our elderly guest. The real reason we stayed here is because we are avid hikers and wanted to hike Mount Balingkilat. See my review of Mount Balinkilat for more details. This property is closest to the trail head (15 minutes away) and I would consider it an ideal jump point. Unfortunately, I was not able to see or swim in the beach because of our long day hike, however upon arrival, I was able to swim in the large 6+ feet pool closest to the hotel which was clean and very refreshing! If you are looking for a 5-star property, then you should pay 5-star prices which you are not with this property. This property is a real bargain and value for what it currently has to offer, and I would be happy to stay here again in the future especially if I’m doing additional hikes in the area.
