Ulasan Awaji International Hotel the Sunplaza

Nice location but a bit old this hotel opened since year 1987

It was an old-fashioned building, and completely different from the pictures. The dinner looked luxurious, but the breakfast had no main course.... The bathroom also seemed to have not been cleaned, as dust would accumulate when you walked around the changing room.

The hotel service, facilities and food are all satisfactory. The only drawback is that you need to wait for the waiter to help you during breakfast and dinner. The limited onion souvenirs bought from the hotel are very delicious.

I missed you on your wedding anniversary. I made a reservation on a reservation site, but the room was different from what I expected on the day, so my husband immediately called the front desk. After that, all the dishes were delicious and the best I've ever stayed. Thank you very much.

We walked in without reservation as we arrived by sailboat from Kansai and didnt find any rooms available in most hotels nearby. We were accommodated by the hotel which was nice. The hotel has Japanese style Baths (onsen) which was nice, not crowded and very relaxing, had both indoor and outdoor, and even a Sauna which isnt common. Room was Tatami style and comfortable, there was a CD player with CD, made us realize how old the hotel is, wifi and internet was very good and fast. The room had a great view of the sea! Only gripe is that they were not offering dinner and even breakfast, they said one needs to book in advance.

There is an additional fee for a private bath with a view, and you can only enjoy it for 45 minutes. There are three private baths, and we used one of them on a sunny day. The bath was a bit rough, but after we were done using the bath, there were two fans, but one was broken and the other was covered in dust. It was usable, but the dust was so bad that it was unusable. When we tried to use it, the dust was flying around. Dinner was also a sumptuous meal served in the room. We had sea bream rice, and if there was any left over, we made our own rice balls, wrapped them in plastic wrap, and took them home. The room overlooking the sea was comfortable, but perhaps because the sun was strong, we couldn't tell if the air conditioning was working. It would have been great if we could have used both fans and been satisfied. I would definitely stay here again. I thought breakfast would be a buffet, but it wasn't, and it was a "Treasure Box Breakfast," which had a unique atmosphere.

My husband and I enjoyed the hot springs and cuisine of Awaji Island using the travel support. From the large window of the room, you can see Osaka Bay and the Kitan Strait, and you can see the comings and goings of various ships. The room had a clean interior and had everything you needed. The food was also skillfully prepared with seafood and mountain food, and I enjoyed it. The picture of the ingredients drawn by the head chef was wonderful. The large public bath was nice, but I could see the sea from the private bath, so I enjoyed bathing calmly. The reception of the multinational employees was also pleasant. It's been a life wash.
