Lion Sunny Beach Hotel

The whole trip the A/C was not working. We told the front desk multiple times but they rolled their eyes and laughed and cut us off. They said it had been fixed Even though it was still not working. The staff was rude in my opinion and the hotel dosen’t fit the 4-star rating. The buffet was ok, a bit boring, with only 4 different meals at dinner

Been here 24 hours, firstly can't fault the room, no plug for bath and asked for extra pillow, and a blocked toilet!! Granted done the day after, after I went reception, who I thought the gentleman needed some customer service skills!!! Just caught the cleaner about cleaning room, she came in emptied bin ,more toilet tissue and left quite surprisingly no cleaning done 🙃 be interesting rest of holiday if that's what the cleaning staff do !!!! Still another 6 nights of our holiday

There was no daily cleaning in the rooms, the manager answered this is because they clean ONLY once in 3 days. Nonsense for 4* hotel. And they continue insisting on this instead of just clean. Unbelievable bad service!

Lion is an amazing hotel. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. The food is delicious and tasty. The swimming pools are large and clean. This is our second year here and it's been great so far.

Every year my girlfriend and I come to Burgas for a vacation. For the first and last time, we chose this hotel I really does not understand how it is called a hotel and not a hostel. The elevator is not working on daily basis, if It works guests stock in it ,and wait to Rescue We Receive the room with stinky bedroom/toilet and faucet -as you can see in review pic . The hotel host in 226 rooms ,but have only one coffee machine/one cold drinks machine/one table of breakfast and evening table. So You need to wait 35 min every breakfast/dinner. To receive food or drink will take you more than hour in line! The hotel install Cellular antenna, on the roof to receive more money ,on the health of the "hotel" guests,As I said you Are not counted. The Low level of service from the hotel start from hotel manager until Lobby Receptionists , who does not try to find solutions to guests problems, but act like pro to push guests into unclean / unmaintained rooms. It was the worst hotel experience I ever had in burgas or entire word travel. Do you a favor and don’t even think on this hotel, for your trip. Pay few more euro and don’t enter to this hostel.

We have been visiting this hotel for many years something we've never done before. We find it ideal . The location is good being away from the main promenade so it's quiet in the evening but within easy walking distance. The food is self service but it is all freshly prepared. The dining room is open in the evening from 6 till 9. For the first hour it is very busy but, after that there is no problem and they make sure that the food doesn't run out. There is also free wine and beer available in the restaurant during the evening meal. The rooms are well appointed and the staff are very nice - What more could you ask for.

We are the fourth day at the Lion Hotel. Overall, we rate the hotel positively. It is clean, the service in the restaurant is working efficiently. In fact, previous opinions confirm that there are long lines at breakfast for the coffee machine, but you get used to it. The only thing that surprised us was the lack of cooperation on the part of the receptionist. From the first day of our stay we tried to change the room. We have already asked four employees about it, unfortunately they refuse us each time or say that the decision depends on the manager. On the first day, we heard at the reception that we would get what we paid for. This is such an unkind statement, I believe. We even wanted to pay extra for the change, yet we hear the answer: "it's impossible". The cleaning lady on the 5th floor was very nice and polite

We were two adults and one kid staying in 2nd building (the one with reception), 4th floor. Everything was clean and nice, definitely would come back. Some notes: - During eating there is only one coffee machine and one drink dispenser for all people, so there were almost always minute or two waiting line to get coffee or drinks. - In our room the sealing of the windows was not so good. So even if you close all the windows and go to bed you think you have left some windows open because you hear noise from outside. Luckily it is quiet outside most of the time. - WIFI speed is limited to 1...2 Mbs for one user so you can check e-mail and read news with no problem but anything beyond that is limited. For example youtube videos are in bad quality and will hang some times. But mobile 4G coverage is good so you can use this if possible. - You start with one installed and one extra toilet paper roll in your room. To get additional paper we put out "make my room" sign so they cleaned your room and added paper. - Elevator in is slow so for younger people taking the elevator to 4th floor takes about same time as walking, even if the elevator is waiting you on 1st floor.
