The view from my room was also not as captivating as I had hoped. On a brighter note, the personal touch was delightful – a warm greeting from Zaiful Ali and a charming elephant-shaped towel display added a unique touch to my experience.”

The hotel has a clean feel, staffs are efficient, friendly and helpful! We had Stephenjen check us in and was so helpful with our early check in and also sound us out about our booking as we had double booked by mistake; the Grand Kitchen breakfast had quite a nice selection of food for breakfast. The staffs were really friendly, efficient and hardworking! Special shout out to Ms Citra, who made us feel welcomed, Tri and Randi who were helpful and hardworking! Thank you for these lovely people who reflect the people and culture here - kind, respectful and service oriented.

I was made to feel special as soon as I walked in. Courteous & helpful staff. General layout almost luxurious, at a reasonable price. Large bedroom with adjoining lounge. In the middle of bustling Surabaya without the noise & distractions. Beautiful pool. First class breakfast. Even let me do a late checkout No criticisms.

Nestled in an enviable location, this hotel has rightfully earned its popularity among locals. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a team of amiable staff who extended a warm welcome. The breakfast buffet was exceptional, and we highly recommend trying the in-house nasi goreng. The spacious rooms, while lacking in some amenities, were otherwise comfortable. However, we did notice a slight odor of dampness and dust that was slightly unpleasant. One minor quibble we had was with the lighting - the dimming lights were not strong enough to provide sufficient illumination, especially after sunset. Additionally, we were disappointed to find only one pair of slippers provided in the room despite booking for two guests in each of our two rooms. Was this a cost-cutting measure? Our biggest issue arose when we arranged for the hotel's car service to take us to the airport upon departure. The driver first dropped off our parents at the domestic terminal, but it wasn't until later that he informed us of an additional charge to take us to the international terminal - despite the short distance between them. We had already paid a premium for the hotel's chartered car service, and it was disappointing that the driver did not disclose this additional charge upfront. While we understand the importance of profit margins, we believe it's essential to prioritize transparency and honesty with guests. Overall, this hotel was a decent choice for the price we paid. Despite the minor drawbacks, we enjoyed our stay and appreciated the friendly staff and excellent breakfast.

The hotel is very nice. It is located in the downtown of Surabaya. Security measures and hotel service also wonderful!

The heart was there, from the moment we stepped into the front door. FOM Amalia was there - all smiles, open arms to greet us. GM Eksi was a step away to get us started on our great Movenpick experience once more. It was all hearts, from each and every one we met from the ground floor More Lounge to the 21st, the Patito on 7th. Executive Chef Vanda was there in person to attend to us, whipping up the best meals we've had this trip, ensuring the right level of sweetness or saltiness, just right smoothness and spiciness; perfect as perfection should be. HM Lucky Idris was not far behind to add cheers to every encounter, making light every conversation. And, our room on the 21st was magnificent; couldn't ask for more - every amenity of creature comfort was there - comfortable bed, long bath, mini bar, you name it, they gave it. Through every detail, the heart shows; every greeting, personal and close by name, not from one member, but by every staff that came our way. Clear as daylight, this Accor Movenpick property is all hearts 💕. We were all welled up in our hearts. Thank you, Ibu Eksi; thank you, Pak Lucky, Pak Vanda; thank you, Ibu Amalia. You gave us a fulfilling close to our six days in East Jawa. Be assured we'll be back for more Hearts. Don't lose heart, if we take a little longer to come. Blessings.

Ein Traum von einem Hotel! Die Zimmer sind geräumig, mit grandioser Aussicht. Vor allem die wohl saubersten Zimmer aller bisher in Indonesien besuchten Hotels. Alleine dafür hat das Hotel einen goldenen Preis verdient! Aber auch das Bad ist schön geräumig, sogar mit Badewanne und Dusche. Im Hotel ist für alles gesorgt: Mehrere sehr leckere Restaurants (wir waren im japanischen Restaurant und haben das Abendbuffet im anderen Restaurant probiert, beides sehr sehr lecker und qualitativ hochwertig). Zum Frühstück wurden sehr gute Gerichte angeboten, mit großer Auswahl, nur leider sehr viele Leute und wenige verfügbare Plätze. Der Pool war super und der Bademeister aus Malukan sehr freundlich und er spielte sogar Musik aus Papua! Das Personal überhaupt im Hotel war sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit, immer verfügbar und zuvorkommend. Wir waren wirklich rundum begeistert. Erholung garantiert! Sehr gerne beim nächsten Mal in Surabaya wieder!!!
