Nestled in an enviable location, this hotel has rightfully earned its popularity among locals. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a team of amiable staff who extended a warm welcome. The breakfast buffet was exceptional, and we highly recommend trying the in-house nasi goreng. The spacious rooms, while lacking in some amenities, were otherwise comfortable. However, we did notice a slight odor of dampness and dust that was slightly unpleasant. One minor quibble we had was with the lighting - the dimming lights were not strong enough to provide sufficient illumination, especially after sunset. Additionally, we were disappointed to find only one pair of slippers provided in the room despite booking for two guests in each of our two rooms. Was this a cost-cutting measure? Our biggest issue arose when we arranged for the hotel's car service to take us to the airport upon departure. The driver first dropped off our parents at the domestic terminal, but it wasn't until later that he informed us of an additional charge to take us to the international terminal - despite the short distance between them. We had already paid a premium for the hotel's chartered car service, and it was disappointing that the driver did not disclose this additional charge upfront. While we understand the importance of profit margins, we believe it's essential to prioritize transparency and honesty with guests. Overall, this hotel was a decent choice for the price we paid. Despite the minor drawbacks, we enjoyed our stay and appreciated the friendly staff and excellent breakfast.

Stayed in one of their deluxe rooms (one level above standard) and it was worth the little extra money. My room was clean, spacious, and surprisingly quiet although the hotel was facing a busy street. Options for breakfast were good and best of all, the front desk staffs were friendly and helpful. It’s located about 5 min by car from Tunjungan Plaza but the price is much cheaper than the hotels in TP area. Can be a good option if you want to stay in the center of the city but with lower budget.

Lift hotel nyaman. Lorong cukup bersih. Tidak ada bau aneh/rokok walau sudah bangunan lama. Kamar agak gelap, kebersihan masih perlu ditingkatkan lagi. Perlu peremajaan... Kaca jendela dan tembok cukup kotor (bahkan ada yg dicorat-coret). Bunyi AC luar biasa nyaring dan tembok dekat AC pas di sebelah ranjang, berasa bergetar... Kebetulan dapat kamar sebelahan rel kereta. Lumayan jelas bunyinya. Dihari pertama tidak ada tisu di toilet. Day 2 baru ada. Nggak jadi pakai kulkas karena agak aneh baunya dan hitam-hitam sekelilingnya... Ada sandal dan snack sisa makanan di area bawah tirai dan bawah meja... Kamar mandi sangat gelap dan dingin. Air hangatnya harus nunggu lamaaa sekali baru keluar. Keran wastafelnya goyah kayak mau lepas. Jd agak kawatir saat memakai. Hiasan di area umum hotel cukup bagus.

Tout est ignoble dans cette horreur. Le pire, les salles de bains ! Même un clochard refuserait de se doucher là dedans, et surtout, d’utiliser les toilettes… regardez lez photos jointes au commentaire. Le nettoyage n’est JAMAIS fait! Alors vous vous retrouver avec des lunettes de toilettes incrustées de toute part d’urine solide et de m*rde…. C’est une honte absolue ! Nous ne sommes pas des animaux ! Certes les prix sont très bas, ok! Mais un minimum de propreté et d’hygiène est indispensable ! C’est réellement à vomir… Je pourrais vous faire une liste longue comme le bras de choses pourries chez eux. Mais je m’abstiendrais. Juste préciser que les placards/casier censés protéger vos affaires via une clef magnétique sont soi disant en « maintenance de puis plusieurs mois ». Donc il faudra dormir avec tous vos papiers d’identité, portable, appareil électronique, argent, etc. Car n’importe qui dans la rue peu accéder sans aucun problème à votre lit et vos affaires. Je me demande comment une telle m*rde peut exister, et surtout, qui sont les personnes qui mettent des commentaires positifs…. À part le prix, il n’y a absolument RIEN de positif. La seule différence avec le fait de dormir sur le trottoir est justement le fait d’avoir un toit au dessus de la tête. Mais c’est tout! D’ailleurs le trottoir est sûrement bien plus propre que cet enfer. Même les cochons ont a toit sur la tête dans leur étable ! Inadmissible ! En France, l’établissement aurait tenu 1 mois avant de fermer pour insalubrité…

We stayed at this hotel for two nights after arriving in Surabaya from Banyuwangi by train. It's located directly beside the river, just five minutes' walk from the station and also very close to the Plaza Surabaya shopping mall. The hotel is comfortable and modern. There are a few issues, namely low water pressure, inconsistent WiFi and a very local-oriented breakfast (think fried rice and sate rather than eggs and hash browns). But the bed was great and the view from the top floor is worth a look. If you're taking the train either in or out of Surabaya - or if you like a good rooftop pool - then this hotel is a good option.
