The location of the hotel was great .... right outside the hotel was the shopping area and restaurants... just a short walk is the beach ...the room is also clean ...

Amazing views! Staff were very helpful. Great location, so easy to get around. They moved us to a bigger room when we needed to add an extra bed. Definitely staying here again when I’m back in Surfer’s Paradise.

It was such an enjoyable stay. We got the chance to have a quick rest day.

Yes the location is great. Service was great. Eoom was small but clean and had complimentary basics. Pool was good. The music was loud but we had a busy day sleep through it. 😀

A very old hotel in a superb location which is at the centre of Sunshine Coast. The lift is very old fashion, a bit scary when first step in the lift. The room is just fine as it has been refurbished.

Had an awesome stay at the Island. It's literately 5min walk to the beach and the shops/restaurants. Would definitely recommend to others.

Nice location, only thing is very noisy at night especially there are some parties on.

The location is perfect, very convenient to anywhere. There is no ventilation fan in the bathroom, which is not good .

Amazing service from the get go. We were upgraded. The room was beautiful included everything you could need. Very central to everything including carpark for overnight parking, beach, clubs, restaurants etc.

Easy access

My children booked my partner and I a night in a Superior twin room for my birthday. From arrival the service we received was fantastic. I was offered a complimentary mimosa whilst checking in and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Our room was spotlessly clean, and very comfortable with ample room and updated modern decor. The beds were very comfortable and we had great views from the 9th floor within walking distance to the heart of Surfers Paradise - a block from Cavill Ave. I rate this 5 stars however their were a couple of small issues - you need to book for onsite parking which unfortunately we were not when my son did our booking. However their is parking right next door for around $15 per day. The other issue was our sliding door wouldn’t lock after returning to our room after dinner. Minor issues but full disclosure on our stay. Overall I would highly recommend staying at The Island again!

Very disappointed! average hotel extremely overpriced for what it is.. bathroom super small, water spill everywhere when u shower and the spa is broken! The hitter is not working and I wasted my only day off paying for a hotel with facilities and guess what?! And up the morning inside the room very upset and feeling like a waste of money and time!
