Ulasan Sovereign on the Gold Coast

Didnt realize that there is no any housekeeping and extra towels cost 2.5 AUD each. Rooms were quite small too. The balcony door wasnt working properly. Not sure if this is the industry standard in GC but its really hard for me to give a high rating given my experience

Good quality service, amazing staff above and beyond attention to detail

The room is tired. No glasses, or paper cups, and definitely no tea or coffee or kettle, or little fridge. Rooms are cheap compared with other nearby accommodation, so popular with backpackers. Bedding had the subtle smell of stale smoke. Also security deposit cam only be visa or Mastercard, no cash or amex, and if using a debit card, cash taken out. $200 for a night's stay of $150. A bit worrying since the rooms are not in the newest condition to start so you wonder if you'll get your money back. At check out told it will take 7 days!!!

Room was clean, staff was very friendly. Not far from tram station and walking distance to the beach. Bottle shop and convenience store is right next to the tram station. I had great experience during my stay. I would stay there again.

The hotel is very near to the G link station, only 3-min's walk. The room is clean and spacious. I will stay here again if I visit Gold Coast next time.

As my first experience staying at a hotel as a young adult with my partner I have to say I'm really disappointed. Room was a decent size but that was all. Looked nothing like photos online. Kitchen? A tiny bench with a tap that makes water go all over the bench when you turn it on. Was no oven or stove to cook anything and there was cocroches in the microwaveand cupboards. Bathroom was supposed to be private along with the toilet but they where joined and the shower was in the bath that was tiny especially for a hotel. The toilet did not flush properly. Was nothing to watch in the room as the TV was broken. You had to go all the was down to reception to ask for anything as there was no phone. When confronting the desk about the cocroches in our room we where questioned "are you Australian!?" Which is shocking. Was told the maintenance guy would come and fix it at 6, went to cavil ave and came back at 6:10 to find reception shut. Definitely would not recommend!

Walking distance to the beach, there are shops nearby, secured undercover carpark, my kids enjoyed the pool.

Stayed a few times before, good for the price, usually one of the cheaper hotels in the area. Parking is a bit of a nightmare as you have to park on the street. A few rough types hanging around usually on weekends but no problems we’ve encountered. Will stay again

First rate accommodation Reception was very friendly and accommodating- I received an upgrade. Great value for money. I’m glad I had a car to get around Plenty of street parking

Excellent service at this hotel, and loved getting the text offering a cheaper 3rd day stay, took them up on offer, very happy and would stay here again. Only one street over from light rail stop and even nearer to bus stop.

Get location, and comfortable room, a lot of space and good value for money.
