I had the displeasure of staying at this supposed "hotel" that turned out to be a complete nightmare. The smoke alarm beeped all night long, and there was no customer service on site. Next morning when I checked with at the reception, they would not address the issue for me at all and just told me to get back 2 weeks later as the owner is out of town. What's truly unforgivable is the utter lack of response from the so-called customer service and the owner - after multiple attempts of giving them opporunity to right the wrong. I was strung along and instead ended up way too many hours trying to get a postitive response. Addtion to that, the place was dirty and super sketchy. Never stay here - avoid this place like the plague.

Clean, clean, clean. Quiet older property set back from a busy road in Surrey BC. Reasonable price for spacious room. No problems.

No frills, at all. No coffee in room. No plug for bathroom sink. Very noisy from other guests upstairs and next door. Would not stay here again. Smell of smoke from next door.

We paid $180 plus a $20 pet fee for a room that was dirty, smelly and run down (Room #1). We were on the ground floor and the floor and bed squeeked horribly. There was no sleeping for us because people above were walking around their room at night, which everyone should have the right to walk around the room they paid for, but just not at this motel because the squeeking is so loud that ear plugs and pillows over our heads did not help. They absolutely should not be charging $138 as a base rate, in September, or anytime for that matter.

The room was nothing like the pictures online. Towel rack was torn out of the wall, toilet paper was down to half with no replacement, the cups provided looked like they were wrapped in previously used packaging. I would describe the room as semi-clean and shabby. Lastly, we booked the room over the telephone and received an invoice for $20 less online which when we checked in, was not honored. When I produced a copy of the invoice, the staff politely refused it. We will not stay at the Grandview Inn again.

The customer service was poor and access to personal amenities was limited. Evert time we asked for towels it was declined. Small appliance were not available in the rooms. The front desk person was rude and disrespectful.

The hotel needs a total renovation from the basement up. Front desk staff is very friendly and helpful, but the rooms are old and rotten. Filthy old carpets, no air conditioning, light fixtures not working and with exposed wires and lose switches. A disaster waiting to happen. The location is not bad if you have a vehicle. The worst part are the pimps and ************ carrying business late at night from the front parking lot with lots of all kind of traffic going on in front of your door. Extremely loud, and complaining to the front desk didn't solve the problem.
