Ulasan Shangri-La Hotel, Suzhou Yuanqu

The hotel is very conveniently located, very close to the Jinji lake and the shopping mall, lots of places to eat nearby. The room was spacious and bright. A nice bathtub, welcome fruits. The pool water was warm and clean, without the specific disinfectant smell. However there was no bathrobe, slippers, toothbrush etc provided for the kid, even though we stayed as a family and the receptionist clearly saw a child when we were checking in. I had to go and ask for them myself.

A beautiful hotel with super big rooms that give you the best feel out of money. Hotel is gracious enough to allow late check outs, with high quality amenities, very nice gym and swimming pool. Breakfast is more Chinese style but acceptable and delicious.

I have stayed here many times. It is an excellent hotel in every aspect.

We stayed here for only 1 night, the hotel was really nice, spacious and very comfortable room; big bed, mini fridge, bath. Staff were also very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fine, slightly limited. The hotel is also about 25 minute car journey from the centre.

The Shangri-La is an excellently located hotel in Suzhou, a close walk to the Times Square area, which is full of restaurants, sightseeing, the subway and other amenities. The hotel itself is spotlessly clean, with friendly, English speaking staff. The hotel has nice views from the upper floors and overall is really good value for money. Access to the gym and swimming pool are also a solid bonus.

This hotel was lovely. I didn't feel so good on my trip so I was able to relax and stay at this hotel and enjoy the amenities. The staff was lovely, friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable and I will definitely stay again when in Suzhou.

Staff is very good. I personally don’t like the interior design of the public spaces. A lot of marbles, classic modern design, luck of the hand of a good architect. I feel a little boring inside but it is comfortable. The room is quite good better than public spaces.

Very conveniently located, near Times Square mall and metro station, Jinji lakefront, Eslite book store and SIP train station. Typical Shangri-la elegance and service. Good value.
