Great value for the money. Clean with friendly staff

The pool is indoors and open to guests, but the heating element is not working so the pool is pretty cold (as of 6/2/24) I had called the day before to double check that the pool was open, heated, functioning, etc--and was told YES to all of the above. So I was disappointed to discover the very next day that was not the case. I had called because another review stated it was broken/not heated. Lisa who checked us in was AWESOME. The hispanic lady working the breakfast area was AWESOME. The african-american woman working the breakfast bar was NOT AWESOME. She was rude to many guests, actually. And complained a lot. The rooms are a little smaller than what is stated in the description online, but clean and functional. EXCELLENT water pressure and tons of hot water. This hotel is right off the highway and next to a truck stop/gas station but I didn't notice a lot of noise. We would stay here again.

The entire stay was awesome. Daphne was the front desk attendant and she was so kind. She was fast and efficient. The room was clean and not run down. The bathroom was small but got the job done and had great water pressure. We did go to the pool and enjoyed it. The pool did have a sign that the heater was down and awaiting a part but didnt stop our kids from enjoying it. The beds were comfy and the AC worked perfectly. The breakfast was decent and included: southwestern omelet, sausage, potatoes, bisquits and gravy, a waffle iron, cereals, muffins, toast, and yogurt. We would highly recommend Microtel and will return when needes

After calling to confirm our two queen bed room for late arrival, when we arrived we were told there were no queen beds and we were given a room with a king size bed and a sleeper sofa. With the sofa extended, the four of us were stepping over each other to get to the bathroom, and one person wound up sleeping on the floor. Staff was very friendly, but the accommodations were not what we booked.

It is exactly what it says it is. There are no frills, but this was perfect as a quick overnight in a roadtrip. Room was clean enough and it was relatively quiet. Free breakfast was a nice perk and exactly what you would expect.

The only thing disappointing about this stay is the fact the rooms (at least mine) had a motion detector on the thermostat, so when there’s no movement the air handler shuts down. These things are very annoying and the only reason I will not stay at this hotel again in my travels thru the area, otherwise this was an excellent stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the room was serviced nightly.

Just stopping overnight. Very clean and convenient. Nice breakfast.

The staff was the most pleasant staff that I have ever experienced with a stay in Sweetwater. The breakfast was a nice touch and tasty.
