It is a good hotel, the location is more or less normal. I liked the food and service, and the friendly staff. Unfortunately, I had to change the room key every day and sometimes twice a day which caused me discomfort but then as I was explained I had the card and phone in one pocket which made it no longer work

Loved our stay at Le Grand Hotel! The front desk was so welcoming and we loved our room (which had just been renovated). The room was not large but very standard size for France. The bathroom was bright and clean. The air conditioning worked very well which we were grateful for since it was quite warm during our visit. The hotel is in the city center and a quick 1 block walk to a tram station where you can go just about anywhere in the city (or beyond via the train station). There are also so many restaurants, retail shops, cafes, pharmacy and a grocery all nearby. It is a very short walk to the cable cars which take you up to Fort de la Bastille with sweeping views and a cool museum. If we ever venture back to Grenoble we will definitely return to Le Grand!

Please be warned that the underground car parking here is not secure . Three cars were broken into the night we stayed including ours . The hotel staff were helpful and sympathetic but it didn’t compensate for the fact that we spent hours in the police station , had to drive to Calais without a window and are now faced with paying lots of £££s on our insurance claim !

PPengguna TetamuI don’t normally write reviews but I am very grateful to the staff (owners?) Of this hotel as I arrived in quite a stressful state (a long story to do with the Tour de France in a broken down van). They made me feel most welcome and did everything they could to put me at ease. I stayed one day and was a stress monkey throughout which must’ve been quite annoying to them but they went out of their way to help me (they let me stay and sort out my plans even though the hotel was closing for that weekend) and were genuinely sympathetic to my plight. They are warm and genuinely nice people. I hope to stay when I can relax and enjoy it because it’s a lovely hotel.

A charming hotel. Hearty breakfast that includes everything needed. Very spacious rooms with huge bathrooms (we had to be lucky on this one) and very clean.The hyper central location allowed us to dine in a very warm restaurant highly recommended by the impeccable staff of the hotel. We are delighted with this getaway!

PPengguna Tetamu#好評#對鄰近活動，安全性，梳洗用品，鄰近店舖，位置，性價比滿意；本宾馆是我多次公差和私游法国感觉最好的，当然是指性价比而言。特别是住在502房间，一个跃层公寓，外加一个15平米的凉台，可以远眺东西两侧的雪山和岩崖，一览无余。住了三天欣赏了日出、日落的雪山皑皑的阿尔比斯连绵山脉，太阳在不同时间的把雪山染成五颜六色，变化无穷。十五的月亮傍晚从雪山背后升起，日月同辉。夜空中久违的星空展现在眼前。真的太美了，太壮观了，太迷人了。我们自做晚餐端到凉台的桌子上，日月相伴，仰望星空，度过了难忘的游览的日子。谢谢格勒，谢谢家乐公寓酒店！我们相约下次再来，再住这家酒店，再住502。

Всем советую, я в восторге. Лучшее место, как минимум, 4 звезды. На ресепшн всегда работает человек, готовый помочь, распечатали нам билеты в 4 часа утра. Я в восторге

PPengguna TetamuThe Residhome Appart Hotel at the “Caserne de Bonne” in Grenoble was one of my classics in the pre-COVID era, and I came back to it recently in the context of a business trip to Grenoble. I was very happy to see that the excellent service, rooms and facilities are still in order. Obviously, we should not forget the amazing location of this hotel, right in the centre of Grenoble (with thus a bunch of shops and restaurants around). I therefore recommend it to anyone interested in a short visit to Grenoble. The room was very nice and clean, and large enough so that I could also work from it and prepare some refreshments in the kitchen space. My room only had a ceiling window, but I was not there for the view so that it was totally fine with me (although this may incommode some). Very importantly, the bed was very comfortable and I slept like a baby. In my reservation, breakfast was included, and I must say that it is a bit better when compared with other hotels of the same category in the Rhone-Alpes region (all basics are there, including in particular a great selection of cheese). Finally, the personnel of the hotel are friendly and always helpful.
