We traveled there with a fear that the hotel may not be as nice as the other Four Seasons hotels we have visited in the past. But we got there and got amazed of how the hotel is. The hotel is built around a lake. On a side of the lake there are sone rice plantation. The rooms are all around the lake and the plantation but hidden in a beautiful forest and gardens very well maintained. The hotel has, nearby the lake, an activities area including rice planting, pink buffalo bathing, pottery learning, etc. It makes you feel like you are living in a small thai village, in the middle of the nature (ok… luxury village in a luxury nature… ). The room is a “Four Seasons” room with a plus for the outside pavilion, high up from the ground and accesuble from the room through a bridge. All for the two of us to enjoy a drink and a cigar after the dinner right in the middle of the nature (luxury forest as previously mentioned…). So, you may see similar rooms in other hotels but domains as in the Four Seasons hotels you definately won find easily elsewhere. Even the pools were built by using green ceramic, so everywhere you look it is green. So relaxing for the eyes! Overall, it is hard to find the right words to describe the feelings this hotel gives you. If you are a traveler, you should not miss the Four Seasons Chiang Mai.

Proud Phu Fah was neat to stay at, but difficult for exploring Chiang Mai. We enjoyed feeling like we were staying in the jungle, and the room was clean and well-kept. There were three breakfast options, including one American breakfast, and the staff at the restaurant were especially pleasant. We were glad to have access to a pool, although it was a little chilly, even with pretty warm weather. In hindsight, we should have stayed closer to the city since we wanted to spend most of our time exploring Chiang Mai. There was a hotel driver available for an extra cost (1000 baht for a 1-way trip) who was very kind and flexible with our desires to go to the city. Once in the city, we had an easy time finding a Grab (like Uber) driver back to the hotel for a smaller cost. However, being about an hour away from the Old Town part of the city made for longer days. Overall, Proud Phu Fah would be a great place to stay if you are looking to hang out at the hotel most of the time! If you are wanting to explore Chiang Mai and go on excursions to an elephant sanctuary, the sticky waterfall, or Doi Inthanon, you're probably better off staying in the city instead!

Love this hotel, new, clean, medium sized hotel. 3 of us stayed in a good size double story room! It’s only 5-10 mins drive from the city and they offer a great spread for hotel breakfast & my favourite is the mini cafe which they open every morning, even if it’s just to serve 2-3 guests with latte or americano coffee options. Must say they really put heart into the work they do. Every single staff there works hand in hand to provide great service. Will be back!

This resort was a dream! Such quiet, beautiful views. Stunning scenery and amazing food. The villa was incredible, with a personal swimming pool and the decor was traditional Thai which is exactly what I had hoped for! The service was incredible and above and beyond! My partner had a tooth problem on our 2nd day, and they quickly found us a dentist in downtown Chiang Mai. I have already suggested this property to so many family, friends, and colleagues and will definitely return myself.

I love Boutique hotels and have been to Chiang Mai before, so I was a tiny bit worried about staying outside the centre/town, but needn't have worried. This place is so beautiful and flawless my boutique hotel heart skipped a beat! Service is impeccable, spa amazing, food was soooo good and the room beautiful and comfortable. The hotel arranged for me a private driver to Chiang Rai as well as pottery class in Chiang mai and unique temple visits also in Chiang Mai. I loved their afternoon delights and I'm happy to report I still have them at home and smile when I see them. (I won't spoil the surprise.) Just go - you'll be happy here!

This was our third time at Mae Sa valley. It is such a special place. We travel extensively and I consider this to be one of the most beautiful spots in the world. It had not changed a bit in 5 years, maybe perhaps the gardens got more beautiful. The setting: The gardens here are looked after so well. There are several gardeners at work the whole time. The view is breath-taking and stunning with a fast flowing river at the bottom. The manageress, Ai, is very good at her job, speaks amazing English (which is not a given in Thailand) and is very intuitive. Last time we stayed in one of the cheaper rooms up the top which had the advantage of an amazing view over the whole valley. The rooms are a bit basic but you get what you pay for. We upgraded to what they call a suite this time and it was amazing. I cannot describe the attention to detail (murals on the walls, door handles in animal shapes etc.) I discovered something new every time I looked. Next time we will go for the suite suite! These rooms are closer to the river which is nice but the river is loud. It is quite well insulated in the bedroom so you don't hear it. The area: There is surprisingly a lot in the way of tourist attractions here (botanic gardens with canopy walks, insect farm, elephant farm) but not much in the way of restaurants. Bring snacks. Of course, this is not for everyone. If you are mobility impaired this will not work for you as too many steps. As you are in nature there are a lot of insects and it is humid and you get a damp smell from the river. Also, breakfast is very basic (but the view makes up for it!) All said, this place is special and has to be seen.

My family and I spent a wonderful night here, the beautiful and peaceful environment made my mood very peaceful, my children loved it here, they could run on the grass and play in the swimming pool, thank you for this wonderful experience, in addition, the hostess was very nice and helpful, the price here is also very reasonable, if you come to Chiang Mai, highly recommend Maerim, if you come to Maerim, don't miss here.

พักกาย พักใจที่ จีรัง เฮลท์ วิลเลจ จ.เชียงใหม่ Jirung Health village - ได้มีโอกาสมาพักที่จีรัง เฮลท์ วิลเลจ อ.แม่ริม จ.เชียงใหม่ เพราะที่นี่บรรยากาศดี มีต้นไม้ร่มรื่น - เราเลือกพักห้องแบบ forest cottage เพราะราคาประหยัดสุด อิอิ ในห้องพักมีที่นอน 2 ที่ พร้อมมุ้งกันยุง - ผนังห้องเป็นวัสดุธรรมชาติ คงไม่เก็บเสียงเท่าไร เปิดอะไรดังๆคงไม่ได้ ห้องพื้นที่แคบ แค่พอนอนเท่านั้น พักห้องแบบนี้คือเน้นเดินเล่น ชมวิว ทำกิจกรรมภายในโรงแรมมากกว่า - ระเบียงรับลมชมวิวหน้ากระท่อม น่าจะมีเก้าอี้นอนด้วยนะ - มีราวแขวนผ้าและ ผ้าเช็ตตัว ไม้ไผ่มัดติดกันด้วยเชือก หน้าห้องน้ำ เข้ากับบรรยากาศห้อง - มีกาต้มน้ำร้อนให้ - ห้องน้ำจะเป็นพื้นลดระดับลงไปจากห้องนอน ทำให้ลำบากเวลากลางคืนอาจสะดุด มีม่านกั้นอาบน้ำ แต่ทำพื้นลดระดับตรงส่วนอาบน้ำน้อยไป อาบแล้วยังเปียกกระจายทั่วห้องอยู่ค่ะ - เราเอาทิชชูแบบม้วนมาเองด้วย 1 ม้วน วางไว้ในห้อง พอ พนง. มาทำความสะอาด เห็นมีทิชชูวางอยู่ 2 ม้วน เลยเก็บของเราไปเฉยเลย คงนึกว่าของโรงแรมวางไว้เกิน เพราะงั้น ถ้าจะวางอะไรคล้ายๆกับของโรงแรมควรวางในกระเป๋าตัวเองค่ะ - ในจีรังมีบ่อน้ำสีเขียวมรกตอยู่หลายจุด มาเดินเล่นชมวิวได้ค่ะ สระว่ายน้ำกลางแจ้ง - มีสปาอยู่บนตึกชั้นบนสุด บนตึกนี้จะมีห้องพักแบบ 2 ห้องนอนในห้องใหญ่ สำหรับพัก 4 คนค่ะ - ที่นี่จะมีปิระมิดสำหรับนั่งทำสมาธิอยู่ด้วย เพราะรูปทรงปิระมิดเป็นทรงที่เหมาะกับการรวบรวมพลังจากจักรวาลค่ะ ภายในปิระมิดจะบุด้วยเบาะนุ่มๆ ทั้งหมด เหมาะกับการนั่งทำสมาธิมากค่ะ - ด้านข้างห้องอาหาร ระเบียง ณ แม่ริม มีศาลของท่านหมอ ชีวกโกมารภัจจ์ ให้กราบบูชาด้วย เวลากราบควรอธิษฐานว่า ต่อไปให้การรับประทานอาหารทุกมื้อ ทานเพื่อให้อาหารเป็นยารักษาโรคทั้งหมด - สรุปคือ ห้องพักแบบกระท่อมก็จะเป็นห้องธรรมดาหน่อย ห้องพื้นที่แคบ ตามระดับราคา จนท.แนะนำให้เลือกฝั่งที่โปร่งๆหน่อย เพราะยุงจะน้อยกว่าฝั่งที่ต้นไม้ทึบๆ แต่การมาที่นี่เหมาะกับมาเพื่อพักผ่อนกาย ใจ ในสถานที่ที่เงียบ สงบ ต้นไม้เยอะ บรรยากาศร่มรื่น เหมาะกับการมารีทรีต หรือ ชาร์จแบตหลังจากเหนื่อยกับการงานที่เคร่งเครียดค่ะ

This is a hidden gem , the lovely lodges set in beautiful gardens with a lovely swimming pool. What more does one want at the end of the exploring this area of Thailand . The staff are the friendliest I have seen and the owners also who are always on hand to help with anything. Nothing is to much trouble. The restaurant is great too the North Thailand dishes especially from my point of view . It’s 18 km from the city centre so easy to get to and from . We would definitely stay here again and use as a base

Friendly and helpful staff, in our case they were extremely helpful and went above on beyond and I wish to thank them very very much, I cannot thank them enough. Steve and Panya 20230802~03.

PPengguna TetamuAbsolutely stunning place. Gardens, views and buildings amazing. We took a delux room but it was only ok. Bed and sheets ok. Towels clean but frayed in places. Room was clean enough but furniture was old and damaged. WiFi good. No air con but was freezing at night so not needed. No TV but not bothered about that. Coffee but no tea. Views incredible. Pool beautiful but too cold to use ( was late Feb high season). Food not great, plastic tables etc. amazing dance by the local hill tribe which was a high light. Breakfast good. So much scope for this place. The management need to put a bit of TLC into it.

PPengguna Tanpa NamaWorth the price and very peaceful place by warm welcomed with smiley staff. Recommended for traveler with private vehicle. Exterior and interior are Morocco style (but little bit aged). Shower tap were separated by cold and hot water (especially hot water, i luv it). The most impressive is I was forgot my laptop at the hotel, but the owner and staff were eager to discover it everything they can and finally they found it ❤️❤️❤️. Love this place and surely back to here again.
