Overall its worth the price. Only one downside, which the bathroom was a bit outdated with poor shower pressure. And we chose this hotel at the first place only because of the air conditioner, and it functioned well. There was a big carpark outside the hotel and staff members were friendly.

The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. The ambience is good. 10/10 for services. Will recommend my friends and family

The staff were exemplary! They always had time for me and made my stay very pleasant. The room was clean and well presented and the shower system worked beautifully. The key cards for the room also worked perfectly which is a big improvement compared to some other hotels! The food was also prepared to an excellent standard and they had a good range of meals!

Avoid this place at all costs….the car park charges are £12 a night After checking in I was told the lift is out of order so had to carry my bags all the way to the top floor The carpet in my room has stains everywhere and dust on every surface so obviously hasn’t been cleaned properly for a while I went to use the toilet and the toilet seat fell off because it had been rotting away . Ordered a £13 burger for dinner and it was so dry. Must’ve been left under the grill for a couple of days I’ve stayed in numerous hotels over the years and this one is definitely the worst

The hotel is conveniently located just off the M4 in Swindon. We used it as a stop off while driving dueing the night. The hotel itself was very festively decorated with lots of Christmas decorations, which was great, ot felt very warm and welcoming. The 24 hour reception desk was one of the reasons we chose the hotel as we were arriving at midnight and the staff memver who checked us in was very professional and welcoming. The car park only had a few spaces left which worried us but we did get a space. The staff were very friendly and helpful. However, there was no heating in our room. There is no central heating so they have put in A/C/heater units on the walls. Our seemed to be broken as it blew out cold air for 30 minutes before we decided to turn it off. We had been travelling for 26 hours at that point and it was gone midnight so I didn't want to go back to the reception desk and risk having to change rooms when we were already so tired. So we layered up and went to bed with jumpers & socks. I asked for a portable heater the next morning at breakfast and they put one in within 5 minutes so that getting ready in the morning wasn't so cold. I was very impressed with the responsiveness of the team. There is no heating in the bathroom either. It was a shame because everything else about the hotel was fine. The breakfast was good too. Perfect for a 1 night stop-over. However, I wouldn't recommend it for winter.

We hired the Parliament Room for our party. Laura and Alisha arranged everything we asked for, from the room layout, to the amazing food for the night. We had lots of comments about how good it was. We are so pleased that we chose The Tawny as everyone had an amazing evening. Thanks again to all the staff involved. Kev & Caron xx

nice hotel, in a good position if you have a car. good service, nice staff. I didn't use their breakfast. Only negative points, I find restaurant closed without notice.

Excellent. Location to m4 is great for working on the road or for leisure purposes. Very clean and exceptionally efficient with turn around. Check in quick. Staff very welcoming and friendly. Breakfast options for room service are one of the best I've had, better than some 4/5 stars! IHG are setting the standard for value, service and overall performance very high and my go to hotel group at the moment. IHG being Holiday Inn, Hilton and Roko to name a few.

The place was a bit overly priced for 106 pounds the bathroom tiles were not clean under my bed were toys for children meaning the place wasn't cleaned well before I got there ,the room was extremely cold the heating was not working no one on front office when I went down ,no complimentary toothpaste, brush bath robe slippers ,having worked in hospitality this is not anywhere near 4 stars

So we decided on a one night stay in a standard double room with optional evening meal and breakfast . The room had everything you need including A/C and the usual tv , Wi-Fi and coffee making facilities. The room was ultra clean with a lovely en-suite bathroom with both bath and shower over the bath . The only downside was the size of the room which was really very small and no room to unpack our case even . We ate in the restaurant and our starters and mains were absolutely delicious with lots of choice . A bit loud at times due to a large business table but we thoroughly enjoyed our meal . To sum up this is a beautiful hotel set in acres of quiet country side . It really is a stunning setting and we loved how peaceful it was . We will come again but will make sure to upgrade to a better room for sure .
