The location of Mercure is very close to the Central Station, which is very suitable for families like us with elderly and children. The staff at reception is very nice and helpful. She suggested us to sign up as a member so we could park at a discounted rate of $45 a day (the original seems to be $49). We were charged $1 which seems to be a deposit when we registered Check-in there. There are swimming pool and fitness facilities on the 14th floor. During our stay, we called the reception for the services. The staff came to our room quickly to provide services. In addition, maybe we stayed during the Christmas period, there was a draw. Were were lucky to win the prize. My child was very happy to win a toy remote car, which added more joy. We had a good experience with our stay. The hotel staff we met there are very nice and helpfiul. If we go to Sydney again, we will consider Mercure again! 🙂🙂

Everything you'd expect from 5-Star Accommodation. Excellent location for taking in the main highlights of a short trip to Sydney. Within walking distance of The Opera House, train station, ferry quay, kings park etc. Sizable room, very clean and comfortable. Friendly staff. No complaints!

I had previously read the comments before booking at the capsule hotel as I usually do to avoid disappointment of available amenities, staff etc… when checking in I found the location in the heart of the CBD perfect with food vendors straight across from the hotel and a 2 minute walk from the light rail that takes you straight to the main shopping district and the rocks for all your art and entertainment. Staff were very kind and approachable even the guard at the bottom floor bar exit door was friendly to me when exiting at night. I found noise never to be an issue in the pods, although I did wear headphones at night time to listen to music but the room is practically always quiet. I was worried about how the air flow would be in the pods and about the mattress comfort from previous reviews thinking I may have got a one way ticket to a hot box scenario but I found it to be very comfortable with great airflow, I had the air flow on 1-2 levels at different times of the day and they still had an option for a third stronger airflow that I found unnecessary. I loved coming back to the pod for some RNR between my busy schedule over the three days I stayed here, the mattress for me was so comfortable and reminded me of the tatami mats in Japanese culture that they sleep on so as a westerner it actually opened my perspective to understanding Japanese culture better. I found that the shared bathrooms were always clean and never to crowded at both night and day. The last thing I can comment about is the storage was a great size I like that they had a hanger in your card accessed locker to dry your towel out through the day and still stay seperate from my belongings. Overall as a solo female traveller I would highly recommend the capsule hotel Sydney. I have stayed at hostels in Sydney close by to this hotel but that extra privacy allowed me to not feel like I wanted to stay out all day till bedtime. This was a last minute trip and if I ever had to book another last minute stay in the city I will book here.

I first stayed at Sydney Hilton in 2006 and the quality is still of that high standard after many years. It’s always great to meet good people, I always look forward to be welcomed by reception staff. On this occasion, Alisa was exceptional. When I asked for a specific room, which was unavailable, Alisa offered a room upgrade, which came with executive lounge access. This was greatly appreciated, as the Lounge on the 36th floor is one of the highlights of staying at the Hilton. It really did make my stay much more memorable. Really beautiful hotel. The rooms are spacious and clean, the lobby bar is lovely and the little touches like bottles of water and big, fluffy bath sheets instead of tiny hotel towels makes for a very comfortable stay.

Business and family travel. We live in Western Sydney and decided on a night out in the city with some family. My partner works in the city, so convenient hotel location to the office and all other major shops and restaurants. Basically everything at your doorstep. Our room was ready by 12pm so my daughter and I were able to check in which was handy so I could drop off our bags. First time ever for us to have a complimentary mini bar stocked with drinks we like so we took full advantage of that! That's was a lovely surprise, thank you Grace Hotel! We booked a room with 2 double beds so we could push them together so we had a big bed to share with the little one sleeping in between us. Just easier than using a cot. I'd say she's more comfortable. If we stayed longer we would've made use of the robes, the slippers and the dining. Not our first time staying at the Grace and definitely won't be our last. Thank you again for the hospitality. We highly recommend this hotel!! 👌 ⭐️👌⭐️👌

What a relieve when I checked into the Radisson Blu Plaza Sydney! Had a total rip-off by the Sydney Harbour Marriott two blocks away. Marriott is 3-star pretending to be a 5-star. Radisson is a 5-star presenting like a 5-star. Radisson is miles ahead in every aspects compared to the Marriott, Room amenities are so much better, newer and modern, and breakfast is way better too! Bathroom with a tub is a joy compared to the Marriott that don’t even have a door separating the shower.

Great location and good value for a city stay. The only disappointment was the hotel's price for weekend parking in the hotel's parking station in the building (albeit run and managed by a parking company) is more expensive than the public rate. You would have thought they could negotiate a cheaper rate for its clients. But not enough to ruin a great stay.

Was 2 nights with wife and son during the Easter Break. Pretty good and cosy hotel. Friendly employees. Swimming pool was busy, wish it was bigger. Breakfast was great. Prices were reasonable, perfect for our budget.
