Penginapan CHECK inn Express di Taichung

The TV in the room doesn't work. After informing the counter staff in advance, they came to repair it, but it didn't work. I told the staff that it was okay if I didn't use it. Later, the staff called the room and said they would help us change the room. After seeing it, I found that it was an upgraded room type. The service was good and polite. The CP value is high. This room is highly recommended. It is really close to No. 1 Middle School for shopping. 👍🏻

The Check Inn Express hotel offers self service check in and check out. For our 2 stays here, several days apart, the check in did not work. The trip.com booking reference was not recognized, a non-Taiwan phone number also is not accepted and the email option likewise did not work. The first time we called a number at the desk, no answer for a while then finally two house-leaning staff appeared and checked us in (manually).  It is not clear if this is a trip.com or hotel technical issue.  The lobby is sparse to say the least, the left luggage area is an unattended space, but local honesty and courtesy make it okay nonetheless to leave your cases there for a few hours. Taiwan rules seem to be no check in before 15:00 or even 16:00 in one place, from our experience in Tainan, Taichung and Taipei.   All this being said, the staff we did interact with at Check Inn Express were friendly and helpful, even if the check in process failed. Check out is very swift and it worked well using their self service terminal.

The hotel is very new, clean and tidy, the surrounding environment is quiet at night, the self-service check-in and check-out system is simple, convenient and fast, there are many convenient parking lots around, and there are many breakfast shops around to choose from. It is worth recommending

If you like Fengjia Night Market, it's right in front, so it's great for sightseeing! However, the night market really opens at night... There's nothing there during that time, lol. But the hotel is really clean and has windows, so it's nice. The luggage storage is actually just behind the counter... It's unmanned, lol. I just leave it on the first floor and leave, so I'm a little worried, but there's nothing I can do about it! Taichung itself is quiet and secluded, so it's nice~ This hotel is far from everything except Fengjia Night Market~ Please take that into consideration when making a reservation.
