Ulasan North Sea Hotel

I stayed for two nights. When I got back, my legs were covered in bug bites. Aside from eating, I spent all my time in the library. I don't think the library had fleas or parasites, but then I found * on the hotel bed. Also, there was constant traffic noise throughout the night, and the windows were aluminum. This was a terrible experience for me. Anyone considering staying here should think twice.

Very kind service. The room was very clean. The room was tidied every day. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful.

Aside from encountering a small cockroach in the bathroom, the overall experience was acceptable. The bed was very hard, so those not used to it might want to reconsider. Indoor slippers are not provided.

Location is a little out of the heart of the city but closer to the Museums. Hotel had a lovely reception area. If you’re comfortable getting taxis and local transport this hotel is amazing.

The staff at North SEA Hotel were incredibly friendly and professional, but the hotel itself felt worn down. The bathrooms were especially outdated and sketchy, and overall the infrastructure needs renovation. For a place that’s quite expensive, especially on weekends, the quality doesn’t match the price. It’s also far from the train station and right by a main road, which can be noisy. Great service, but the facilities need major improvement.

The overall environment feels acceptable for a stay. The room lighting is a bit dim, relying solely on yellow bulbs; it would be much better if they were brighter. In contrast, the exterior hallway is well-lit and pleasant. Although the room itself is small, it's equipped with essentials like a kettle, mini-fridge, and hairdryer, and a laundry room is also available.

The staff were friendly and helpful. No meals are provided. The room was a bit small, and while the facilities were dated, they were clean. The lighting was a bit dim, but Wi-Fi was available. What was really thoughtful was that right after I checked into the room, they even called to explain how to use the hot water.

Overall, I had a good experience staying at this hotel. The location is convenient, the room was clean, and the service was friendly. For the price, it’s definitely reasonable, and I’d be happy to come back again if I visit Taichung in the future. The only downside was the water temperature in the bathroom — it was quite hard to adjust, and tended to be a little too hot. It would be great if that could be improved for a more comfortable stay.
