Hotel di Green Park Lane/Calligraphy Greenway, Taichung

LIKED: 1. Budget friendly 2. Laundry room availability DISLIKED: 1. Size of the room 2. Smell of the room (smelled damp, probably from the carpeted floor) 3. No bidet in the bathroom 4. Shampoo and shower gel were in the form of small sachets, barely enough for 1 person to use 5. Electrical sockets were behind the beds, you'd need to move the beds to use them. Otherwise there's only 1 socket next to the table and another one in the bathroom next to the toilet 6. Breakfast selection was very limited and in a basement that is relatively dark. There's no hot water dispenser there so if you want to drink tea, you either have to prepare hot water in your room or from the dispenser on the first floor.

La habitación es sencilla pero para pasar una noche podría estar bien. Sin embargo, las paredes son super delgadas. Escuchas la conversación de junto, cuando se duchan, cuando roncan, se escucha todo. Yo siempre ignoro estos comentarios porque pienso que la gente exagera pero en esta ocasión es muy real. La habitación tiene un olor fuerte a humedad y a encerrado y si intentas abrir la ventana, no se mantiene abierta. Además de que se ve directo a la calle. También a ciertas horas, llega mucho olor a comida al baño de la habitación. Imaginamos que llega a través del conducto del aire pero puede ser desagradable estar duchándole con olor a comida. Aunque no vimos al personal fue atento a través de mensajes.

Location is great! Theres a taxi stop/line right in front of the hotel. There’s so many things to do and explore around the hotel, the kids love it. We enjoy the breakfast buffet too! We would like to stay there again next time!

服務人員都特別友善而且很貼心 由於是週末入住，所以車輛通往酒店的入口是封住的，加上司機不熟路，所以我只能在酒店附近不遠處下車。 飯店人員得知後，特地出來幫我拿行李辦入住，服務非常好。 晚上回飯店手上拿了大包小包，門口人員也是主動提議可以幫我放進房間，讓我不用回去房間，直接去外面吃用餐～回到房間後發現人員特地幫我把拖鞋都擺好了 這邊服務真的非常好～100分 但是酒店的設計就有諸多不便的細節： 1、衣櫥：我住的房型是有兩個衣櫥，由於兩個衣櫥是在轉角處，所以打開門的時候會影響到，也非常佔空間 2、動線：房間內的動線不太符合一般人，沒有地方放行李，進門口有桌子跟椅子（不是很實用）。如果商務人士需要熨衣服會很不方便、因為熨斗的線很短會卡到廁所的門，再加上熨斗會漏水…椅子的擺設也是卡在浴室門口， 洗漱的時候會卡卡的 3、房間內備品：全新的牙刷備品裡面居然多了一條用過的牙膏…感覺是供應商的品質問題；酒店提供的睡衣領口還破掉….感覺品質非常差 4、酒店位置說實在不太好，因為太市中心，基本上都會塞車，如果是週末還封路….很多司機是不清楚路的，加上如果真的開進去馬路上還會造成安全隱患（因為很多行人） 5、飯店人員專業訓練不夠，入住時有些必要資訊沒有提供 如果再選擇的話應該不會花8000多台幣入住，同價位有更好的選擇～

Very friendly service and great location. Breakfast buffet was filled with plenty of choices.

The hotel is at a location quite close to calligraphy greenway and public transport is relatively convenient too. Hotel breakfast was ok though it was a little repetitive. One point to note is that the closest junction is strictly an overhead bridge so if you're arriving by public transport and also carrying luggage, you'll have to walk a littler further down the road to cross.

The Carlton is a nice stop and has a nice breakfast buffett and also offers tea/coffee during all day. Within 15min walking distance you can reach the parks and shopping malls to get your favourite ********* delights. Room itself is clean and spacey.

This hotel is well located with a cosy room. The amenities were great and the view from the window was spectacular

The interior is avian theme which was interesting. Location is beside a shopping mall, Watson and convenience store. I stayed alone and the room is spacious enough for me

Very good location and about 800m to Michelin restaurant Kuisine. And also 500m to National Science Centre Taichung. Can spend full day walking nearby the hotel. However hotel’s breakfast is so so only, but the coffee is good. Highly recommended if you want to to explore Taichung city you may opt for this hotel
