Ulasan City Place Hotel

I have stayed in this hotel many times for business. Location is quite good and the people very nice. Highly recommended!

Nice little hotel, clean and well organized. However, there are no windows in the rooms.

It's a small hotel in a good location in the center of Tainan City. You can walk to most of the major attractions. The staff is friendly, and the rooms are a good size and very clean.

Overall, it was excellent, with a great location, excellent service, and a perfectly sized room. Because I had prepared the hotel's paperwork beforehand, check-in was super quick. Unfortunately, there was a slight musty smell upon entering the room, which deducted a few points, but it cleared up after running the air conditioner for a while. While the smell seemed to have dissipated, I had sensitive airways throughout my stay, so I might want to clean the dust screen. Because the hotel had given us advance notice, we asked for toothbrushes, but I didn't bring a hair dryer. The hair dryer in the room was too gentle, so long or thick hair might take a bit of time to dry. But to be fair, a hotel this affordable and good isn't immune to minor flaws. There's a spacious and comfortable 24-hour lounge area on the first floor, where you can read and use a computer. It was really nice. Everyone at the front desk was friendly and polite, which is truly rare. So, the cleanliness can't be fully rated due to the air conditioner, but everything else was excellent!

The environment is clean and comfortable. The staff are also very friendly. There's also a free coffee and beverage machine. If you don't want to smell like food in your room, you can enjoy some Tainan delicacies in the first-floor dining area. It's fantastic.

Transportation is very convenient! There's dedicated parking for drivers, and there are plenty of Goshare rentals nearby, making it quick and easy to get around! The room was also very comfortable, the bathroom was clean, and it had windows!

The hotel is located in downtown Tainan, about a 20-minute walk from the train station. The room I stayed in was quite large, with a separate bathroom and toilet, which was very considerate. There was also a sofa seating area. Overall, the room was very clean. Luggage storage was also available for guests who wanted to leave their luggage overnight. The service was very thoughtful, and the overall stay was a good experience.

I was very happy to check in. The reception staff was very warm and welcoming. The hotel facilities are very new, there is an independent parking lot, and the bed is very safe and comfortable. I highly recommend staying here.
