I feel like the place is very nice for sleeping. They provide free dinner and supper.

Best hostel I’ve ever stayed at. I was lucky enough to get a room with a window, which made it feel really spacious. All the guests were very quiet and respectful, so it honestly felt more like staying in a private hotel room than a hostel. The only downside is that it’s a bit of a walk from the train station.

A very nice hotel. Clean and friendly staff. Yes, the hotel provides Dyson hairdryer 😄 Quite a convenient location with some famous shops nearby and delicious eateries. Walkable to the main train station. There’s wet market opposite the road which is worth visiting.

The hotel is in a great location, with many places of interest within easy walking distance, which made getting around very convenient. The service staff were consistently friendly, warm, and helpful, and their hospitality really made us feel at home throughout our stay. The breakfast buffet offered a decent variety and was quite enjoyable, with good flavors and enough options to start the day well. That said, housekeeping could be more consistent. On one of the days, hair was not cleared from the floor trap, the mug wasn’t washed even though we had rinsed it after use, and the tissue paper was not replenished. These are small details, but they do affect the overall experience and could be improved. Overall, we had a pleasant and comfortable 4-night stay, and with a bit more attention to housekeeping details, the experience would have been even better.

I search recommended Tainan accommodation on a social media and Jai Hotel & Hostel ranked # 1. I saw good reviews including honest pictures on multiple platforms. Plus I received 50% discount from the booking platform, so I decided to give it a try. This is my only non-private room stay in my entire 2 weeks of vacation in Taiwan and the best hostel I’ve ever stayed in general. The bedding and pillow are good cotton fabric. Room, shower room are clean. I stayed in the female dorm. Room and shower room needs to use room key for access. They offer eye mask and 3M earplugs. I like the smart safe to keep the valuables. What surprised me is that self-serve afternoon tea and food are offered. Food is fresh and good quality. There is a 24h coin laundry next to the 24h 7-11 convenience store in the same building complex. You can check the laundry availability and program progress from your phone. I wish there would be more Hotel & Hostels like this in Taiwan.

Very nice stay with help from the front desk staff who were able to accommodate my requests. Note that the dorm individual beds have curtains but not a door; the door opens to a set of about 6-8 rooms, each with a bed. The shared bathroom was well maintained.Would stay again!

My stay at Tainan Jai Chateau Hotel was very pleasant. The staff were polite and welcoming during check-in. Although it is a 3-star hotel with basic facilities, it provides all the necessary essentials such as clean bedsheets, towels, and well-maintained housekeeping. The breakfast did not have a wide variety of options, but the food was tasty. One great benefit of the hotel is the complimentary afternoon tea and light supper. It was a nice perk, and I was even able to save money by enjoying the supper there instead of going out for dinner.
