**The following is based on my experience of staying at the hotel March 15 and 16**.
* Dishonest upper MGMT. They charged me 2 nights for total of $218 and toilet plumbing always blocked. Didn't use toilet second day. Asked for half money back, they refused and said was not cancelable. Dishonest... I am not talking cancelling, I ask compensation as they rent out rooms for large amount of money and toilets clog after use... They know what they are doing... Unethical. Please save yourself pain (or bring a port a potty if you rent room 705) - go to another hotel.
* I took video at checkout on day 2 to show that the toilet was still clogged despite my not using toilet before leaving. Even the Friday I arrived, when I went toilet (#1) i immediately saw that the toilet barely barely cleared. I called front desk and man was very very nice (Herbie i think) and he plunged away with plunger for nearly 15 mins! But immediately that evening the toilet slows down and next day again plugged (see still images of video I saved to my phone).
***However this begs the question, how can they rent out rooms when going #1 leads to barely flushing /clearing toilet? To me this means that plumbing is clogged before I arrived and was never cleared! Yet hotel has no problem to rent out room and take my money!? What?
* I documented all with Trip.com (emails and video) and Trip called the hotel twice to request half money back. For the record, the hotel flatly refused! So this interrupted my zoom business meetings on Friday and I lost 2+ hours in emails and documentation and talking with trip and trip talking with hotel, and hotel IGNORED all and denied partial refund.
* To Trip 's credit they provided me some compensation for this bad experience, but the hotel, lost in action!
** Do yourself favor and look elsewhere. Again all of this is based on my personal experience of Friday March 15 and Saturday March 16.
Lastly Herbie and other older man behind front counter (both 40s -50s), very very polite, and respectful! Kudos to them. But hotel plumbing and room plumbing...??? Upper hotel MGMT wasted my time and took my $218 for bad plumbing experience.
Also, I was never able to get the 2 RJ45 room jacks to work! Also heads up to USA travelers all but one of their room electrical plugs are polarized (ie two prong) ... So if you travel with American 3 prong, you only have one jack which is hidden to side of tv cabinet.
Thanks for reading! Safe journeys.
