Ulasan Le Room Hotel Ximen Kangding Taipei

The hotel is clean and well-maintained, with daily housekeeping that keeps everything fresh and comfortable. It’s also conveniently located within walking distance to Ximending, making it very easy to explore, shop, and dine around the area.They also offer free snacks and drinks, which was a nice bonus after a long day of exploring. Overall, it’s a comfortable and convenient place to stay I would definitely recommend it!

Honestly don’t understand how this “hotel” has such high rating. People’s mind probably gets clouded by the free snacks in lobby… free snacks is the only good thing about this place though.  Room is advertised as 13sq.m with Cory View. Both statements are lie. Room is 7.5sqm, yes I’ve actually measured it, and under 10sqm with bathroom. Everything is tiny and cramped even for a minimalistic solo traveller like me. Absolutely nowhere to put anything. Bathroom is a joke too, with disgusting mouldy ceiling.  City View out of window… yes right… see attached photos. Add on top of this a voltage-transformer/electrical humming noise in the wall at night (you can’t hear it during the day, but at night impossible to fall asleep, it’s really loud). I was so pissed off, I decided to check few other nearby hotels and they had better rooms! Cleaner larger etc, at exactly same price!

Do not stay at this hotel!! Manager yells at guest who complains that there is construction next door and on the road!! The hotel is fully aware of the construction and provided earplugs in the room but there was no warning of the construction next door before booking. I asked at check-in at 4pm if there will be construction all day and I was told by the manager that it occurs from 9:00am to 5:00pm. I asked for a refund because I didn’t want to stay at a hotel next to construction and I have booked it for 5 nights. I had to involve trip.com and the manager said it is only the city road construction and it will end at 5:00pm. It didn’t end until past 6:00pm. I also told both trip.com and the manager that I still didn’t want to stay at a hotel that has construction starting at 9:00am. I was forced to stay as the manager yelled at me to change rooms and due to THEIR cancellation policy, they refused to give me a refund. I changed rooms and guess what, there was construction at 8:30am the next day. Frustrated with the hotel, I demanded a refund as I already asked before I slept there and before I changed rooms. I called, I emailed and chatted with the manager on trip.com. The hotel finally allowed me to leave after I was furious but without a charge for TWO nights. Luckily trip.com solved my problem and compensated me for a terrible and traumatic experience after being verbally abused as a hotel guest. Great platform but rude, mean and angry customer service by the hotel blaming me that I am the only guest who complained. I asked for a refund immediately when i checked in and the issue could have been dealt with ease but obviously the hotel wanted my full $8000 TWD. There are also ants in the washroom and on the bed. Be warned!

Satisfied with the hotel. Eventhough need to walk a bit to ximending mrt or night market, but its okay. Along the way there are a lot of shops, convenience stores available. Good facilities - in toilet they have bidet, bath tub and they clean the room everyday. In the common area in lobby, they provide free flow halal snacks, drinks, got microwave & water station. They also can keep your bag if you need to do early check out.

The toilet was clogged, and the front desk service was terrible. I don't recommend staying here; it was a very bad experience.

The room was good and pretty large, especially the toilet and shower. They also refilled our water, changed our sheets, and took out trash regularly. Location is also accessible to Ximending without being too noisy. Love the unlimited snacks and juices, too.

The room was clean and near ximending. But sadly on our 1st night our room was opened with another visitor which the information guy gave same key card to the another visitor that’s why they were able to open the room

Location is perfect. Check in efficient and 24h desk. Free drinking water. The area is relatively quiet

It was ok. A decent sized room good for couples and an unlimited amount of snacks 😊

The hotel room and bathroom are notably small, with visible dust around the table. A pillar positioned in front of the bed further limits the space, making it difficult to fully open a medium-sized suitcase. Additionally, the overly soft bed and pillows result in an uncomfortable sleeping experience.

It was a nice hotel with a good location in Taipei.

The room we got was not like the pictures it had an odd equipment bolted to the floor, this was not in the pictures, it was inconvenient as it took a lot of space and had sharp edges. The bathroom had an unpleasant smell. The room key did not work and the receptionist had to come with multiple keys until one worked. The hotel seems old as all the furniture had scratches and dust. The hotel lobby offers free snacks and has a microwave and coffee machine, so that is nice. The hotel is about a 12-15 mins walk from Ximen MRT Station.

The location is very good. They have a lot of free juice and snack which really helps. The room also near but not in crowded part of Ximen which is a plus point for someone hard in getting sleep. I would recommend the hotel to my friend.

Locate near ximen area plenty of food and shopping. The staff is super helpful . Highly recommended
